I cannot say just how impressed our group was with this property. First of all, the amenities were great. Having access to laundry and AC was crucial as we did a lot of swimming and we were there for a very hot stretch of the summer, so that was lovely. The rooms were excellent and comfortable. Everything was easy to use and find in the home. There was no need we had that wasn't already covered. On top of that, the place was just beautiful. The decorating touches and the historic details were impressive and really thoughtful. My husband's parents said over and over again how much they were pleased with the find. We all got a little obsessive over some of the little puzzles they had stashed around and that became competitive. My son, who was five, even got into a tic-tac-toe board and a few of the board games. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking for a group hang in and around the Dells or Devil's Lake. We were so close to so many fun things to do, but when the heat kept us trapped in the house for one day during our stay, we still had a great time just hanging out together because there was a lot to do and we were all so comfortable there. We have rented a number of places together as a family and this was a real high point in our rental history.
