Location was excellent. Fairly equipped (we had to purchase some items to use in the kitchen). Dropped a few things on the floor and had the misfortune of looking under furniture...place needs a more thorough cleaning. And refreshing of a few things (carpet/drapes) to get rid of a bit of a funky smell. But it served its purpose for a place to sleep and shower while spending maximum time on the slopes.

Amenities could definetly be better. Several concerns were sent directly to vacasa. Walk does require some uphill then downhill to get to slopes, it is not doable if you are hauling equipment or have children.

The unit is described as updated and I would not consider it very updated. This is not what I consider a ski in/out. I suppose you could walk from this location to the ski resort but it would not be a 1 minute walk! The unit had a funky smell when we arrived, the vent was closed on the fireplace causing a very propane smell. My husband fixed it, but they did send someone out and he put in a co2 monitor. Kitchen was not very clean, however the beds did have clean linens and the bathrooms had clean linens. All in all it was not a bad stay.

Mixed feelings!!

My family of 7 stayed for 3 nights. The first 2 nights there was no hot water!!!! I contacted them and they quickly sent someone out to look at it but it couldn’t be fixed. By the last night the problem resolved itself. I was told there would be a refund for my inconvenience but I still haven’t seen one! Also, when I arrived the dishwasher was full of clean dishes that were never emptied from the previous stay.

poor condo and response to problems

Very outdated!! Old kitchen utensils and no coffee pot!! Upstairs bath/shower would not work (??pipes frozen, no water). requested late checkout (only had one shower so needed more time) or partial refund but was told they could not do! Would not stay there again!!

wonderful skiing trip

We are staying in this property for the second time. It is clean and comfortable, and has everything one needs. The major attraction is location - you can walk to slopes. This year there were lots of people, and finding parking was a real issue. So it was nice to avoid that!

Family ski trip

We had a great weekend skiing and hanging out. The house is great, beds comfy, heater works AMAZING, fully equipped kitchen, easy walk to the slopes. Would definitely stay again.

Find another place- not good for 8 people. Maybe 4

The property is old and not kept up. The mildew/mold smell is overpowering. It was so bad we had to leave and could not spend the second night there. Sheets and beds were clean but not the bedspreads or the throw carpets in the bathrooms. I had to clean the porch before it could be used. Not fun!

Great getaway!

We loved our stay at this property. It was very close to the ski resort and at the end of the day, it was a great place to cook dinner and relax. Due to Covid, we mostly ate in and the open floor plan was nice. We did have one question while we were there and the property company responded to us right away. Check in and check out was super easy. Overall, it was a wonderful place to get away from it all.

The condo was Nasty! Musty smell, broken, uncomfortable,broken , dated furniture.

It was the worst experience I had ever encountered renting a VRBO. It should definitely be taken off the website. Such an uncomfortable stay and waste of money!

Loved this place

Loved the layout of the condo, and the value we got with everybody having their own room. The main room-kitchen was perfect for us, as was the beautiful porch. The location could not have been better for a few days of hiking in the mountains, and the people we met there were great too. The only complaint I have is the mattress hurt my back, and others in my group said the same. Also we went in mid-August and were worried about not having AC, but its cool up in those mountains, and we opened the windows and had no complaints about that.

Great condo!!!

This was a fabulous rental. There are four bedrooms, one is a loft on the third floor, so we had even more space than we thought. The condo has everything you could need - like a pancake griddle! The recliners and couch in the living room are unbelievably comfy. The WiFi was fantastic - even with 7 of us using it (with multiple devices each...). Sugar Mountain is a great resort with a lot going on. And there’s a huge Food Lion six minutes away!!!

Horrible cleaning

The house stunk,pee stains on the mattress pad food stuck in microwave stuff stuck in freezer hair in showers.. tried reporting the problems and received an email back 2 days later saying the problems were being sent to the manager and still haven’t heard back
