Family Get Away

This was Great Grandma's week with Granddaughters and Great Grandkids. The townhome was arranged perfectly for our family. Every family had their own room. Being able to walk to the pool was perfect as we are all swimmers. The Great Grandsons also enjoyed fushing. Such a perfect place for all ages. We ranged from 1 to 79. We had such a good time, we are coming back next year.

Great winter weekend!

This townhouse provided a wonderful spot for our family and another family of four to enjoy a snowy weekend near tubing and skiing. The setup was perfect for our sized group and we all thought beds were comfy! The views from the deck were beautiful.

Girls' weekend

We had a great time at this property! It was clean, spacious, comfortable - everything we could ask for! The check in was very easy and communication was excellent. We enjoyed being able to use the fitness facility and the indoor lap pool/hot tub since our day for planned hiking was rainy and extremely foggy. We journeyed into Boone for some shopping - just a few miles away. We will be back!

A family favorite

This was our second stay at this home. We booked it specifically because we had such a great experience the last time. The check in/out process is very easy and convenient; especially important to us managing little kids. The home is warm, inviting and spacious, and always clean. We also love the proximity to the pool and entrance/exit. It has everything we need for a long, relaxing evening. We would definitely stay here again!

Comfortable house and great location

We loved our stay in the house for Christmas and new years! The kitchen was very well equipped and offered everything we could need and more. The rooms were very spacious, beds were comfortable and the rooms were nicely decorated. My only recommendation for this property would be to offer a crib and high chair for families with small children. We would have also loved if they could have decorated for the holidays and added a Christmas tree. Sad to arrive on Christmas Eve with kids to spend the holidays and have to spend the day hunting town for a tree. Other than that the house was perfect and would come back again!

Wonderful amenities. The outdoor pool is right next door. The inside pool is down the hill. The house has everything you would need for a great vacation stay and is very nicely appointed. Close to all the Boone and Banner Elk area has to offer!

“Slice of Heaven” indeed!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. We plan to be back! The home is beautifully decorated and appointed; and there’s ample space to spread out and relax. The owners have thought of every detail to make our stay relaxing and we felt right at home as soon as we got there. The check in/out requirements are minimal and easy to follow. We highly recommend the Echota property (our favorite in the High Country) and this specific home. It truly is a Slice of Heaven.

Review for foscoe rental

Overall, the property was beautiful! The house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. I gave this property 4 stars because the only issue was the check in process. Prior to our arrival, I only received one email stating that check in was anytime after 3pm. I received no email stating that anytime after 5pm (when the office closed) you could pick up your check in packet at the rental office. We were stuck trying to figure out what to do for an hour and 45 minutes. There were no after hour numbers to call, or anyone that could be reached from the rental office. The number to the security officer was not available anywhere, but luckily we ran into a sweet couple who gave us the number to the security guard. In addition, the maps were hard to read and the security guard had to escort us to our town home. She was very nice! Other than those two incidents, I have nothing but great things to say about this home. We felt very safe and were happy to know it was in a gated community. The views were beautiful! Knowing how to do everything now, I would definitely go back or refer to a friend! Also the gps worked for us!

The best VRBO I’ve ever stayed in

This property was amazing, to say the least. A bunch of us gurls stayed here for a long weekend for our friends 40th bday. We walked in and were blown away. The views of this place are stunning. The beds are all so comfortable. And the cleanliness of this property was spotless. All of us kept commenting throughout the weekend of how clean and perfect this place was. Will definitely be back in the future!
