Simple

We stayed here to enjoy a small mountain getaway. Sugar mountain is around the corner, the BG resorts has a clubhouse area where they do activities for the guest. And there is a small pond you can walk around. Also they groomed the roads in the winter. So never worried about driving around. We will be back!

Perfect location to Sugar Sugar Mountain

Perfect for fmamily of 4-6 people.Friendly and easy check in process. Only wished there were some type of throw or blanket downstairs in the living room. Would book again.

Great location Basic accommodations were adequate--slept good Turned on oven to cook a pizza ---smoke came out of oven and vent on top of stove ---cleared up ---had oven cleaner been used on oven before we arrived? Curious about all the smoke---opened sliding doors and odor and smoke cleared. Used Cigarette butts on ground near front door --- unsightly

Great location in Banner Elk

This is a great location in central Banner Elk and Sugar Mountain if you don't want to drive way up a steep mountain road. We loved it, being from Fla we didn't have 4x4 for the snow and this location was great! The staff is wonderful! We enjoyed the fire pit(s) nightly. Lots of amenities for families. Basic utensils/plates/cups. No spices, sprays. Older but very clean and great set up for 2 adults and 3 teens. Perfect family vacation in a winter wonderland!!

Good space for small family

Property was easy to find and good size for our family of four. We spent lots of time in traffic even though the property is super close to Sugar Mountain. Main bath shower is awkward due to whirlpool tub. All else exceeded expectations

Ski weekend stay

We stayed for the weekend to ski at sugar mountain. Location was great for getting to the mountain. Only 5 min drive. Easy check in process. Property was clean. A little outdated but was great for our needs. Beds were comfortable. Master bedroom door had a crack in and master bathroom a little outdated but otherwise good.

We loved it here! I was so cozy and great space for our family. The only thing we were real bummed about was the pool being permanently closed on this property due to structure. It should probably be taken off of the pictures and amenities. The pool was one of the reasons we booked. Otherwise is was a great stay!

convenient location

The convenience to Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, Linville falls and Boone is fantastic. The property was well maintained, with the exception of the outdoor grills. Plenty for young and old to do. Interior was a bit dated but clean. They responded to all our concerns promptly. No pool, and they said some villas did not have internet. Luckily our unit did but bless the souls with teens that dont have internet. Connections in that area are spotty at best.

The property company called me day before I was due to check in and told me they were cancelling my reservation. The reason being that they could not contact the owner. When I asked if they had vetted the owner of the unit I was supposed to get, it went unanswered. Additionally, they were unwilling to help book a new reservation on site as they were full (somewhat believable) but also were unwilling to help find a new reservation anywhere close and left me with less than 24 hours to find a reservation so I could attend a family event.

Fun on Sugar Mountain

With a great place to stay, my family had a fun vacation at Sugar Mountain. The unit was clean and well maintained. It did need a few more dishes and glasses in the kitchen. Otherwise everything else was excellent. We will definitely stay again and rent through VROB.
