Quality, quiet, private house nestled in the mountainside

My business small group did their retreat there. The home was clean and it was helpful to have enough bedrooms. There were a few maintenance things- the bathtub leaked to the room below, the toilet chain broke. The challenge with it being two homes together is that there wasn't really a large space for us to hang. But that was the nature of the set-up. It worked well. It's a solid place to rent. The customer service was very good.

Great overall experience!!

Great location, everything was as described in the app. We were 22 people (one infant) and had plenty room for all of us . Great views from the cabin and close to Beech mountain resort. Internet was super fast and easy to access. Property manager was very helpful and easy to talk to , we really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back next year ! Thank you for having us ❤️

Family Wedding weekend

This was a perfect location for two families to gather for a family wedding at the Banner Elk Winery. This location accommodated two large families and there was plenty of room for the older young adults of the family to play pool and watch football before and after all wedding activities. The location was close to everything and the property manager was easy to communicate with.

Wonderful time

Great spot for our family vacation (6 families, 3 generations). The kids enjoyed the mini-golf, hiking trails and playground. Location was convenient to activities located in surrounding area.

“Voyeurs” paradise

Let me start with the best part...Most responsive property manager We have ever had!! Kitchens were a little light on utensils and a few drains slow, property manager came by with kitchen utensils and opened up the slow drains! As to the title... several of the bedrooms have a huge window that opens into the bathroom. I’m no prude but this is unnecessary but easily remedied. Curtains!! Whether you agree or not, please install them. That way, If I want my spouse to watch me shower or bathe or shave or even sit on the john, I can simply leave the curtain open. If I want privacy, I can draw the curtain across the “wall-sized” window!!

Wonderful place to stay in the mountains

This beautiful townhouse cabin was a very nice place to stay in, if you enjoy the peace and tranquility of the mountains. The place was very clean, very roomy, ample parking, fully equipped kitchen, nice large bedrooms and bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Great place for a group

We had a great time staying at this property. I had a church group of 24 college students and young adults that were able to stay there very comfortably. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils we needed to cook multiple meals. I would say to make sure that you have people who are comfortable sharing rooms because some of the toilets are really open air. If you’re skiing this is a too 10 stay too because the garages have plenty of room for ski gear and you’re within minutes of both Beech and Sugar.

At first I was skeptical about the townhouse setup and being separated from the rest of our party but it turned out great that we had space to cook and could alternate where we hung out! Great location for large group.

Our Family of 16 really enjoyed this property. Since there the structure has adjoining condos with identical floor plans, the older members of our group had peace and quiet while the younger ones could let their hair down without disturbing anyone. Eagles Nest has lots of amenities to enjoy and really was ideal for our needs.

Perfect for our couples getaway

16 of us stayed incredibly comfortable at the property. The master suites were perect (just be sure to run the hot tubs before you get in!) We had a couple of issues during our stay but Joanie was on top the entire time to get them resolved. Kitchens were nicely stocked, bathrooms had super comfy robes, and nice furniture to lounge on. Only con would be create a doorway either through the porch or actual house itself to create easier way to get to and from the other half of the house...there’s a perfect place on the porch for it! Would absolutely stay here or somewhere in the neighborhood again for sure! Awesome amenities, beautiful homes & views and Joanie was nothing but awesome to work with throughout the whole time!

Banner Elk is great

Awesome time at Eagles Nest in Banner Elk. Amazing views, lots of activities, the property is top notch. We rented ATV’s, hiked the property, cooked and drank. Will certainly visit again.

Great spot!

The townhomes were awesome for our large group (17 adults, 3 children). Everyone had comfortable rooms and beds, and the house was very welcoming with towels, toiletries, toilet paper, hand soap, etc. Some rental properties are rather empty when it comes to all of those things, but the Cedar Townhomes were like a hotel where everything you needed was included! Joanie, the property manager, was also fabulous, and the neighborhood and its amenities were incredible. The only slight negative was that we wished there was a connecting door between the townhomes, but in the end it was no big deal. We all enjoyed our stay and hope to go back in the future!

Even Better Than Advertised!

Our large family takes a trip together every summer, and have for years. This is by far the best property we have ever stayed in, at the same price point. The property is well built, well appointed and in a great location. The management company was equally great - super communicative and easy to work with. I would highly recommend a stay in this beautiful Lodge.

Great Family Fun!

The townhomes were equipped with everything we needed for a wonderful family weekend. There were plenty of beds and plenty of bathrooms and lots of space. The neighborhood is very nice too with fun things to do for all ages. I look forward to a return visit when it is built out.
