The only reason I gave the overall rating a 3 is because the hot tubs jets were barely running. We always pay extra to get cabins with a nice hottub but this one was just like sitting in a hot bath. So we definitely did not get our money's worth. Although they did say they could send a technician out but if he had to drain it..it wouldn't be ready by the time we left. Other than that and the outside deck having cobwebs the house is very nice and clean on the inside. We did have to clean the outside deck table. It is close to everything and easy to get to. Plenty of kitchen items if you plan on cooking. I won't stay there again unless they upgrade the hot tub.

Excessive posted notes throughout the property, 28 to be exact! Took the WELCOME vibe completely out of the stay and was tacky. There is zero views, property is encased with natural landscape literally up to the homes walls. Porch ceiling leaked, puddled and was extremely dirty, which made it uncomfortable to relax on the porch during inclement weather. Bagged trash was left and you could smell it from afar. The home is very small, outdated and the pictures do not dictate so. However, The location was great to amenities. Bottom line for the money invested…We will not be staying here in the future. The Moss’s, Wolfe’s and Godfrey’s

What a great stay!

We both thought this was exceptional. Having frequently stayed in this area over the years we were both impressed with Hummingbird! Beautiful setting, nicely furnished and a well-stocked kitchen. I have to commend Blue Ridge for their attention to detail and the care and assistance they provided before and during our visit.

Great weekend trip yeah.

Hummingbird Hollow was fantastic. Easy to find and we especially appreciated how close it was to everything. Major trails, the Blue Ridge Parkway, all the towns you’d want to visit. Despite the proximity to all major attractions in the are the property was secluded and felt very private. We only stayed the weekend but maximized the time we had. The cabin was well appointed, clean, and had everything we (or you) would need for a comfortable stay. I have to add that the host was always responsive, usually within 10 minutes if we had a question. 10/10 would stay here again. Thanks for the great trip!

Peaceful Retreat

Beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. Our time went by too fast. We wanted to unplug and relax, and this location was perfect for what we needed. Tucked away for privacy, but close enough to local attractions.

Perfect Getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hummingbird Hollow. It is in a convenient location to enjoy all of the neighboring towns. Very private setting with peace and tranquility. A perfect set up with the amenities for any duration of stay. Thanks again for our lovely stay.

Double Dose

This place is absolutely stunning, And beautiful. The home is a vacation in itself! We had a wonderful time it was cozy and relaxing. The home not only was it easy to access and get in everything was labeled with little labels, letting us know exactly where when and what I was extremely impressed with this and it made for a easy stay one thing you don’t want to have to worry about every day life homes when you’re trying to enjoy yourself this home was perfect. Even though it was only a 2 acre lot and other homes were close by, it was very well secluded and laid out so the presence of other people was not felt. All in all, it was a great spot. I definitely recommend this location and will definitely be using Blue Ridge Mountain rentals in the future.

Mostly as Expected

Great communication throughout. Easy check in/check out. Pretty clean and stocked fairly well for basic operations. Location is central to the main tourist areas. Hot Tub was so chlorinated it was unusable and water level was low. We decided not to use after about 2 mins. Hot water heater in shower only good for about 10 mins and it took a while to warm back up after each shower. Overall a cozy experience.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

Absolutely loved the house itself… but loved the location too! Close to everything we wanted to see in Boone. Perfectly kept, private spot - with quick aceess to downtown.

Loved it!

Beautiful cozy cabin that is easy to access and has everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked and appliances are great. The air hockey table and hot tub were a hit with the kids. I loved the wood burning fireplace! We'll be back for sure!

Wonderful stay

Check-in process was seamless. The cabin was very clean and beautifully appointed. The location was convenient to everything in the area. The private location was perfect and the outdoor area is very well maintained. The cabin included everything we needed. Just bring your clothes and enjoy!

Nice place but the Stairs🙁

Overall a very nice place but the stairs to the second floor are ridiculously steep. So steep we would not even go up there unless absolutely necessary. I would say if you are over 50 just forget there is a second floor. The outside areas were dirty. It took a lot of our time to wipe down the outdoor table and chairs. The inside was clean so that is what really matters.

Cozy getaway

My family stayed at Hummingbird Hollow to celebrate my son's birthday. He was so excited to have the air hockey table to play and hot tub to hang out in. My husband and I enjoyed watching the birds and chipmunks from the porch. We did not use the fire pit, but it is a beautiful set up. The property is very secluded from surrounding properties; we enjoyed the privacy. Inside the cabin was well organized and clean. There are little notes to help navigate the home. Management had great communication throughout the stay through text and email. I had to call afterhours once and they were very responsive. My family enjoyed our stay at Hummingbird Hollow very much. My son is already asking if we can come back next year.
