Looks like a great place to stay

I had vbro this place in August 2024 but was unable to stay there due to the Flood damaged Area in the fall. The company and owner contacted us and we got another cabin on sugar mountain. We did drive by and it is a great location when we went to check on the other house we rented. This was thru blue ridge Mountain. I called them and they could not take this off the VBRO. Hopefully we can come back and rent this cabin sometime during the winter again.

Fabulous!

After a last-minute hiccup with our original rental house plans, Blue Ridge Rentals & VRBO came to our rescue and found this incredible property for our three daughters, their husbands and our 2 grandbabies. This property ended up exceeding all of our expectations. We enjoyed all the amenities that were advertised. The location and view were picture perfect. It truly was a Merry Christmas. Thank you.

Family Getaway

We loved the house. It was perfect for our group. My sister and I along with our families of tween/teen kiddos. We had plenty of space to spread out and also all hang out together. While we hoped for snow and only got rain we still had a blast and would definitely rent this property again. The rental company was so easy to work with and quick to respond if we had any questions.

Very Nice Property

This home was very updated, clean, spacious and well equipped. Worked perfect for our ski vacation. Just a few short minutes from Sugar Ski. It is not ski out but it wasn’t that much of an inconvenience. Would highly recommend!

Great house. So much room.

We will definitely stay here again. Lots of room with a great view. It would have bee 5’s all the if not for a brief snafu in the check in process. We arrived a couple of hours before check in and waited until 4pm since we were told that it wouldn’t be ready early. (No problem at all). At 4pm, the entry code would not work. We waited a few minutes and tried the code again. It still didn’t work. We called the rental company. After a few minutes on the phone, they reprogrammed the entry pad with a new code and we got in. Otherwise, I recommend this house to anyone.

Family Ski Vacation

This house is awesome. Its location for skiing is very convenient. Very clean, & well maintained. All appliances looked new & worked great including the gas grill on the deck. Kitchen better stocked than my private home. Also large enough that we had plenty of room for our family to not feel cramped. Blue Ridge Rentals were the best company we have dealt with this far. Very attentive to every detail of the check in & checkout process. They definitely have 5 stars from this family. We will be back⛷️⛷️

Thanksgiving family get together

We enjoyed the property. It was clean and pretty much as advertised. Upon check-in the door code did not work so had to reach out to Blue Ridge which was not easy since everything went to voicemail. Lower fireplace did not work. We were told someone would try to call or come out but never heard back. The house itself was fine and quiet. We did enjoy playing pool but would have been warmer with fireplace.

Would definitely rent again

Great house with lots of space for any group. The house was well appointed and clean. Kitchen is not large but is organized and has everything you need. Loved the windows across the back of the house. Would definitely stay again!

Great home for a large group

There were 9 adults who came to ski. Lovely home, living areas allowed us to get together and enjoy the beautiful scenery and fireplace. Would highly recommend!

Plenary of room for everyone to spread out, Even if someone wanted to have their own space! The downstairs was the perfect hangout for the kids; pool table, TV room, and it’s own kitchenette! Fantastic!

Elk Horn Lodge stay

Listing and photos were truly reflective of the property and the rental process was flawless. Location was great and the house was stocked with everything to make it as close to a home away from home as possible. Definitely had a great stay and would highly recommend this for a family with multiple generations.

4 generation Fall Getaway

We took 4 generations on a Fall getaway to the mountains (9 of us). The Elhorn Lodge was a perfect fit for us and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. Chilly weather and fall colors. The home was warm and cozy and provided instructions for everything which made things easy. We played games, pool, hung out on the back deck for lunch and sat by the fire table sipping wine at sunset. Plenty of bedrooms for everyone! Thank you for letting us stay at your property - we would love to return some day.

Family birthday weekend

Our group of 5 adults and two kids (2 & 3) had a great time at Elk Horn Lodge. Everything was perfect upon arrival and we didn’t have any issues with the property during our stay. The whole family loved the large back deck and open family room. The only thing I would do differently for our next visit is to bring our own pillows - the ones at the cabin were a bit thin for our group. We will definitely be back again!

Even better in person!

This is a fantastic house with lots of space in a great location. We were pleasantly surprised that the views were so amazing, and the location was very convenient for skiing Sugar Mountain. The homeowners have gone out of their way to provide instructions to the TVs and fireplaces. They also left a binder with many restaurant and attraction recommendations. This was so helpful! We loved our vacation experience.
