We loved our stay here! The location is absolutely beautiful and the cabin was comfortable with enough room for a family of 4 to not trip over each other. Cara was very helpful and responsive when we had questions. We would absolutely stay here again.

Our family went on a weekend getaway and stayed at this cabin for two nights. Recent storms had left a lot of snow in the area, but it was obvious the roads leading up to the cabin were very well taken care of. The cabin itself was very cozy and well taken care of. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our family of four. The dining room take was a great place for us to gather to eat and play games while watching the Winter Olympics on TV. The cabin's heating worked great in every room and there was a stove with gas logs in the living room for added heat and ambience. The cabin is also in a great location whether you want to go to Banner Elk, Linville, Boone, Grandfather Mountain, or any of the local ski places. We went to Hawksnest Adventures, which was less than 15 minutes away, to go snow tubing...super fun! The Blue Ridge Parkway is also very close, but was closed while we were visiting. The hosts were great. The cabin was clean. We would definitely stay here again.

Very easy check in and check out process. Great location to skiing and hiking. Nice quiet area. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils and necessities. Very clean! We had a great stay!

Such a great cabin situated in the perfect spot to catch all the local offerings. The cabin has everything you need for a fun trip with your family or friends. I’d highly recommend. The host was communicative. The cabin was clean and updated. The hiking trail inside the neighborhood was an added bonus!

It was such a cozy, home-like feeling of a cabin and our friends with a 4 year old easily accommodated just as easy as we did with a 2 month old baby! Beautiful place to stay!

The cabin was neat & tidy. Lots of towels and bath cloths. It was in a great location. It was a little difficult getting into the driveway though. But a neighbor told us about going up the hill & turning around to make getting into the driveway easier without spinning.

Our stay was great..Check in was easy..Host was very helpful..The only reason I didn't give an excellent rating is outdated master bathtub..too large and tall..a shower would be much better..but....had a really great stay.

mountain cabin

The cozy mountain cabin is located in Banner Elk North Carolina, which is only 20 minutes from downtown Boone, which is pretty convenient for accessing activities in Boone. There was enough space for all my friends to comfortably stay. Just note that there is a gravel parking lot. My car got a bit stuck in the gravel, but was able to get it out pretty easily. The driveway to the cabin is a bit small and there is a tree root in the road. Other than that, the cabin suited our needs well and we enjoyed our stay.
