Property was exactly as described, kitchen equipped with everything you needed and extremely clean. Beds were comfortable and neighborhood very quiet. Our only visitors were the beautiful deer, squirrel and birds. Host was very friendly with a quick response time. Definitely on our list to visit again.

Exactly what we needed and expected. Bed configuration was perfect. Master bathroom remodel is a gem! Great communication and easy to work with! I only gave 4 stars on cleanliness because I don’t think anyone had been in it for a while before us.

Cabin in the Woods

This is a beautiful cabin, nestled in Beech Mountain adjacent to ski slopes. The view was beautiful, the accommodations were very pleasant. We had a great stay. Our host was very responsive to our needs. Many thanks for letting us stay in this property.

Great Ski Trip

Location! Location! Location! This cabin is perfect for a family ski trip. It’s small (1200ish sq/ft) but you’re not there for the house. You’re there for the slopes! The house is located about 150 yards from the bottom of a blue run. We made the walk with a 12 year old and 9 year old in full ski equipment. THERE IS A SMALL CREEK YOU HAVE TO CROSS. I did not see this detail in any other review. It’s totally walkable but if there is significant snow melt it can be A bit tricky. We did it just fine with our kids and obviously many others walk it every day. It was just not something we expected. The rest of the walk is slightly downhill to the slopes and uphill back to the house. No big deal at all. Even for a tired, overly dramatic, 9 year old. You can easily ski to any lift from the access point.The owners are awesome. Great communication. Top notch service. Book with confidence.

Cozy mountain stay

We love the location of this house to the slopes. The location is convenient to get to Fred’s and other popular eating places. The house was cozy, comfortable, and perfect for our family of five. we had added bonus seeing a beautiful snow and deer in the yard during our stay. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Wonderful stay and host

We went to beech Mountain for our yearly anniversary ski trip (17 year). This year we brought my aunt and my sister with us. The house was plenty big for the four of us. I could definitely see the house accommodating six the house was very nice. Everything worked well great location easy access to the ski slopes the host of this location is very polite. Response quickly we will definitely have this on our bookmark for next year. Thank you so much for a wonderful home for my family and I.

Perfect for our family!

We recently stayed for 5 days with our two kids (ages 8 and 4) and my mother-in-law. The house was perfect for our family. We really enjoyed the porch, where we spent most of our time. The location was great, as well! Would definitely stay here again.

Well priced and comfortable accommodations for our recent ski trip. Well located on Beech Mountain. Fairly easy to ski in and ski out. Owners were responsive and provided excellent local insight on ski rentals and other items. Would definitely stay here again

Enjoyed our stay

Grandparents, parents and two young children enjoyed their stay at this property. We were close to the slopes and optionally an easy drive to park near the entrance. This was just the right size for our family and plenty of room to play, do puzzles or just hang out watching the Super Bowl. The host was great in answering questions and working with us. Everything was as listed and as shown in the pictures. We hope to return in the future.

This may have been the most well-appointed property we’ve booked so far. We needed none of the extras we brought from home from paper products to the crock pot - everything we needed was there. Communication with the owners was easy; they provided all the information we needed well in advance. The location was convenient to Asheville, Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. Thank you!
