A delightful cabin

My two friends and I totally enjoyed out stay. The cabin was super clean and had everything we needed. The location is a gem. We easily visited Boone, Blowing Rock and Grandfather’s Mountain. We spent one afternoon at the Grandfather Mountain Winery sipping wine and listening to wonderful live music. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect solo hiking weekend getaway

This was the perfect place for me to get away from the busyness of life for a little relaxation, hiking, and focused time to start a new business. While the place has 3 bedrooms and could comfortably accommodate more people, i did not feel overwhelmed by myself either. It was super quiet, peaceful, clean, and provided all of the accommodations I needed, while being reasonably close to restaurants and shops in Boone, Blowing Rock, and Banner Elk. Many of the hiking trails along that area of the BRP were less than 30 minutes drive. The only less minor inconveniences i noticed were a few lights in the kitchen and bathroom were not working, and the place has a musty smell as it walk in. But I otherwise really enjoyed myself, and look forward to coming back again!

Home away from home

Everything about this place is perfect and as listed. We normally stay in the basement apartment as there’s only 2 of us but it was booked. Even though we didn’t need a place this big, we booked it anyway because we knew the location is great, place would be clean and the people are super nice. Can’t wait to come again soon

Tweetsie trip

Great time had by all. Took my two year old daughter to see Thomas the Train at Tweetsie and had a ball. The house was cozy and clean and we joked about wanting to move in. Would stay again for sure.

Not as advertised

Overall nice property. Only complaint is it was advertised as entire house and it was not. The bottom floor is a separate unit. We rented this because we were looking for privacy only to find out we had other guest below us.

Family Getaway in the Mountains

The house was great for a family getaway in the mountains of NC. The location was secluded enough but still close to all the area attractions and the house is as advertised. We did encounter one problem during our stay, but Wesley was able to come to a reasonable resolution and I would recommend him as a host. The house is pet friendly which is a huge plus. There are also some great hiking areas in the back of the house and a great hill for sledding too.

City escape

Very comfortable home with great side view of Grandfather mountain. Close to town but enough away to get that mountain home feeling. Enjoyed the well stock kitchen since we cooked in more meals. We took a quick weekend trip for skiing. This place was great! Beautiful, updated, warm, so inviting, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The view of Grandfather mountain off the back deck was wonderful. We were close to all major towns and ski slopes, which was awesome. The process of making the reservations, communication with the owners, and all aspects of this weekend was a great experience.
