We really enjoyed our stay. We had a large group with multiple families in town for App State Graduation. We all had plenty of space to spread out but still had plenty of space to spend time together. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with anything you could need. The property owner was amazing as well.

Took the parents for a much needed relaxing getaway. The house is big. We had plenty of space to spread out. The hot tub was awesome, as well as, the ping pong/pool table. Nice and helpful host. Will stay again.

I had bought tickets to Tweetsie earlier this year and decided to make it a long weekend trip. We all had a blast. Property was well located and great for our needs. The three floors worked great for us since there were 3 sets of families. Would definitely stay again!!

My large extended family vacationed at Appalachian Dream and loved everything about it. The owner, Mark was wonderful to work with and we spoke often before and during our stay. Sitting out on the balcony with my coffee each morning, felt like living in a treehouse. We wanted privacy from our busy city lives and we got it. The kids spent much of their day playing pool and ping pong and we couldn't get them out of the hot tub. The cabin was very clean and inviting and felt very much like home. You can't beat the central location. We rent cabins often and this is our new favorite one. We will definitely be back. Thank you Mark for your hospitality and for sharing your home with us.

A quick peaceful vacation is what we wanted and what we got at this beautiful well equipped cabin. The privacy of the trees and the sounds of the wildlife made it perfect. We even saw several deer. The owner was great to work with and made sure we had everything we needed. The kids (and adults) had a lot of fun playing in the game room area and soaking in the hot tub was a plus. Will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our time together but was somewhat disappointed. The description said a great view of grandfather mountain which couldnt be seen from the cabin due to over growth. We waited until the second day for hot tub to heat up and then the water smelled very musty even after adding the chlorine. Some of the dishes that were in the cabinets were dirty and had to be washed before we could use them. We grilled out one evening and the grill was filthy so it had to be cleaned as well before use. The toilet bowls were dirty where the water had been sitting. The owner saidbnobody had stayed there in a while but with our reservation don3 months ago, I would think a cleaner would go in before our arrival. The person that apparently does the cleaning left a can of dusting spray in the corner of the couch and there was a personal item (very personal) was left in a nightstand drawer. That was reported to the owner. We didnt report the rest to the owner because we were there already and just worked thru it. The owner lives away so maybe the issue is with the property manager. We did love the layout of the cabin and it worked great for the two families. We enjoyed going to several places while there and made some great memories and will return to the area again one day.

We had a wonderful long weekend at this cabin! The host did a great job communicating and making us feel prepared. The cabin was cozy and plenty of room for 3 different couples. The kitchen is stocked well with supplies. We cooked every meal in. We brought both of our dogs and the area was perfect for walks in the morning. There is a cute waterfall you can walk to and it is very peaceful. Right down the road is Hawksnest Snow Tubing which was so much fun for adults and kids! We left our AirPods at the cabin after we checked out and the host shipped them back to us very quickly. That was just the cherry on top to a lovely weekend!

Cabin was cozy and fun! Pool table and ping pong table provided plenty of entertainment for the kiddos while adults enjoyed the hottub! Plenty of rooms and beds were more than comfy after hitting the slops all day! Would definitely recommend and would stay again

Had a wonderful long weekend with family, for an early family Christmas. The cabin had everything we needed, with plenty of room to spread out. The young adults loved the down stairs area, pool table & hot tub. Had great weather for sightseeing, shopping, Christmas at Tweetsie (with our 1 1/2y.o. nephew), and the Alpine coaster. Overall wonderful weekend! Mark, thank you and your family for sharing your cabin with us. Great Christmas retreat weekend. We wish you and you family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!! We had a great time. We took advantage of the Jacuzzi, the pool table, cooked many meals (kitchen is very well stocked,except for muffin pan so it turned into a cake🙂). 3 levels, each with separate bedroom, full bathroom and adjacent living room. 6 big screen TVs and a nice push button fireplace with lots of heat. This cabin was amazing. We ha a wonderful extended Thanksgiving weekend with our family. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need. The bedrooms had the most comfy beds. Every morning began with sunrise views from the porch and every evening ended with a hot tub wind-down. The highlight of the trip was the deer sightings. We saw them below the balcony and every day outside the front door. The town was nearby for convenience. We have memories to last forever and plan on returning.

A weekend getaway with family (2 Aunts, 1 Uncle, and a cousin). Great cabin to support a family of 7. Kids (age 10) loved the games, pool table, hot tub, and the mountain/ woods across the path to explore. Kitchen was well stocked for us to cook all our meals. Owner communicated well about the check-in process. Was responsive to my one need. Great location. Will need a 4WD in winter weather. Thanks for allowing our family to reconnect at this beautiful cabin.

We wanted a get-away and this cabin was perfect. It was very spacious but also cozy. The location was perfect, close to activities, restaurants, but just far enough away from the busy area of Boone. The owner was very responsive. Would we stay here again?- yes we would.

Great cabin and great location. This cabin was just as a mountain cabin should be. It felt very private even though there are neighbors. It’s close to Boone, Banner Elk, Beech, Blowing Rock and Linville. My family really enjoyed our stay.

Property and area were fantastic. Cabin was the perfect size for our family and dogs, and the neighborhood was great. The cabin itself is a bit more rustic than others we've stayed at, but with the whole family and dogs we all felt it was perfect for the occassion. All of us really enjoyed our time, and we would book again.

We were looking to run away from home for the weekend.. this was just what we were looking for! Secluded yet quick drive to Blowing Rock, Banner Elk and many hiking trails. The cabin was comfortable for 2 but ideal for extra family or friends. We would certainly go back!

Our family enjoyed this clean, spacious cabin which was centrally located near so many activities. Our college-age kids loved the downstairs game room and hot tub. The next time we visit this area, we would definitely like to stay here again!
