Lovely mountain cabin!

Traveled with family and 2 small dogs to enjoy the July Fourth holiday. We enjoyed the peaceful location and is convenient to restaurants, shops, trails and wineries. The cabin is very clean and the furnishings are beautiful. You can tell the owners put a lot of thought and love into their place. Would definitely recommend!Pam

Quiet and Comfortable

Rocky Creek Cabin has everything you could possibly want in a mountain getaway. The area is quiet and secluded, yet easily accessible to areas for dining, hiking, shopping, and exploring. The cabin is extremely clean and comfortable. We cannot wait to get back to the cabin.

Fantastic Fall Getaway

Wonderful cabin tucked away in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. The entire property exceeded all expectations and our entire family (and pup) enjoyed it immensely. Will definitely be looking to repeat the experience again and continue to take advantage of all the outdoor activities in the area.

Relaxing ladies

We were very impressed with how wonderful the cabin was, from the impressive decor inside to the landscaping outside, including the very large Rododendron, the creek in the back to the flowers and man-made waterfall in front! The hot tube was a big hit.The beds, pillows and linens were exceptional. The kitchen is the most well-equipped with very nice dishes, pots and pans and glassware.

Perfect Mountain Cabin!

Our family really enjoyed this cabin - it was so beautiful! Absolutely spotless. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the creek off the back deck. As well as the beautiful water feature in front of the cabin as we sat on the porch swing. Great location - convenient to so many things!

Family Weekend in the Mountains

We enjoyed a peaceful weekend at Rocky Creek Cabin. It was a perfect setup for 4 of us! The house was remote enough but still close to access Highway 105 central to Banner Elk, Boone, and Blowing Rock. Hope to return in the summer so we can sit outside by the creek. Thank you for sharing your home with our family!

Such a wonderful cabin. It is beautiful. The attention to detail the owners have put into this cabin is remarkable. It was perfectly clean and incredibly well stocked. The owners were very responsive to any question that came along.

Mountain cabin perfection!

Our family gathered at Rocky Creek for a long weekend so we could be together for APP State graduation. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and has every amenity you can imagine. The back deck overlooks a fantastic rocky stream surrounded by hostas, ferns, flowers and towering trees. This is a beautiful place to enjoy any occasion or just to relax in excellent comfort!

Early Thanksgiving

The neighborhood is beautiful. The location is perfect mountain getaway. It snowed while there so enjoyed the snow and went sledding. The cabin was perfect they thought of everything you would need and it was spotless. Definitely will be going back to this cabin. Went with our daughter and husband and their 2 year old , plenty of room and space for everyone and all our activities.

Spectacular home with EVERYTHING you need!

Girls get away in phenomenal home that was extremely organized with a very helpful host. The views from the porch over the creek were spectacular. We have never been in a rental that was so pristine. Hope to return to this phenomenal home again!

Spectacular Creekside Cabin!

This house / property was really something special! The interior of the house was modern, well equipped, and beautifully constructed with breathtaking woodwork, high vaulted ceilings, and attention to detail. The back deck with hot tub overlooking the babbling creek was also a highlight, and the property owner / manager was extremely pleasant and accommodating. We had a wonderful time here and look forward to staying again as soon as possible!

One of the BEST places we’ve stayed at

Fantastic property, clean and has everything you need. My family visits this area every year for skiing, tubing and fun, this is by far the best place we’ve stayed at over the past 7 years. They’ve put a lot of thought in the details. The rooms/beds are comfortable, our kids enjoyed the foosball table, kitchen is fully stocked and the backyard views with the creek are incredible. Check-in process was easy. I highly recommend this property to others.

Just me and my dog enjoyed another relaxing week at Rocky Creek Cabin! Everything was perfect, as always, and had zero issues. Best-kept secret in Boone/Banner Elk (but don't tell anyone 😉). Thanks Wisdom again for sharing your special place!

Loved the cabin. Very clean. Kitchen well stocked. Hot tub was great and could hear rushing creek and see the stars. Near sugar mountain and banner elk. Short drive off a main highway

Florida Spring Break

This is our second year staying at this cabin…we love it. We like to get away during our Florida Spring Break. The weather is a nice change…the cabin is perfect. Everything you need, in great condition and a perfect location. Nice and quiet with a stream in the back yard. It’s close to a grocery store and good coffee shop. 2 must things…Centrally located to lots of fun’s places to visit and do. Highly recommended!

Great location

Our family enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The owners were quick to respond to inquiries and have made a nice effort to have just about anything you could need available. We enjoyed the gas fire table on the back porch. Be sure to bring fire wood if you want to use the fire place. We used it every night we were there. There were body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in our shower, a basket of light blankets you could use to sit outside on cool evenings, dog food bowls and king size beds. The location was great!

Fantastic Home for a Peaceful Mountain Getaway

Very beautiful, clean home in a great location. You do need 4wd in the event of snow & ice but the location is perfect for hiking and skiing. There is a stream right behind the house. You can enjoy sitting in the hot tub on the back patio while listening to the water. This house is located at the end of a road and is very peaceful. Beautifully decorated and very well maintained with comfortable, clean beds. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay in this home again.

SIMPLY THE BEST

Absolutely amazing, picturesque cabin with perfect location and all the amenities you could ask for. Our family of 4 stayed here for a weekend ski getaway and it was so relaxing and beautiful at the cabin my only regret is not having a longer stay. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels and cleaning supplies. Easy checkout instructions. Host was just the best and went above and beyond in communication and answering questions. Roads were clear for our trip but agree with others that AWD/4WD is necessary in the winter months. Our family has already agreed we’re going to stay here on our next trip to the mountains.

Perfect cabin on a waterfall!

I have stayed at Rocky Creek Cabin 6 times now and every time is better than the last! Sitting on the deck overlooking the waterfall drinking coffee in the morning is one of my favorite things to do. The dogs love it here too. Every little detail is thought out and perfect... Even have dog bowls and towels, Foosball, Kuerig coffee maker and shower caddies full of shampoo! Was here last winter during a snow storm with over a foot of snow, and it was so beautiful! But definitely need 4WD! The owner Wisdom is very attentive if you ever need anything and very thoughtful. Thank you for sharing Rocky Creek with us!

Cozy Cabin

This cozy cabin was the perfect getaway for our family of four that includes two teenage boys. The cabin itself was spotless and we could tell the owners take pride in providing a wonderful home away from home. Although the location was a little challenging with fresh snow on the road, we had zero problems getting in and out just using four wheel drive. The kitchen was well stocked, the hot tub was clean, the beds were comfy. There were well written directions left around the home in cute frames (how to use the tv remotes, check out directions, etc).We were just minutes drive to grocery stores (which all sell firewood for the fireplace), restaurants, alpine coaster, the town of Banner Elk, and Sugar Mountain (for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing).The owner was super responsive to a couple of email questions and updated us with road information and weather as we were lucky enough to have fresh snow during our visit.I would highly recommend this property!
