The cabin was small and cozy, we loved using the fireplace and fire pit. It was perfect for a long weekend trip. A couple of things that would have been nice: first, the listing says it sleeps 5…the photos show a bunk bed, which would have been perfect for my two teens (a boy and a girl), but we found that the top bunk was very unstable. We learned from the host that the top bunk was unusable for anyone over 100 lbs so someone had to sleep on the sofa (which was not a sofa bed…just a sofa) . So - just keep in mind that unless they fix the bunk bed situation, the cabin really would only sleep 4 unless you had a small child (king bed in master, double bottom bunk bed in second bedroom). Additionally, taking the trash to a dumpster on the way out was a bit more difficult than we anticipated. While someone who knows Eagles Nest better might not have any trouble finding it, for our family (who had never been there before), it was a not an easy thing to find, despite the instructions. Plan ahead to locate the dumpster before you are ready to leave. :)All in all, it was a small, cozy cabin in a very beautiful area with lots of neighborhood amenities.
