Just returned from a one week stay at the Villa Mango Trees. We were three couples who fully appreciated the beautiful tranquil villa. All the staff were amazing. If we returned to Bali we would include a stay at the Villa. You can explore a significant portion of Bali with a top-down approach thus avoiding the traffic of the South West.

Nous sommes arrives dans cette magnifique villa (la plus jolie de la plage) au mois de septembre avec un super acceuil. Personnel tres sympatiques et serviable (ILHU ET PUTU ) toujours à votre écoute.L'endroit se trouve en face de la mer et aun peu retiré de la villa, il faut un scooter ou taxi pour y arriver (pas trop loin).Si vous aimez le calme cet endroit sera le votre. Très beau coucher de soleil.Merci pour cette magnifique sortie en mer pour admirer un défilé de dauphins (unique) récupéré devant la villa. Nhésitez pas à aller voir les cascades pas très loin. Noubliez pas vos produits pour moustiques.Il y a un moustiquaire autour du lit qu 'on peut egalement asperger avec un produit pour textile.

Het huis was perfect! Precies zoals op de foto’s. Enige nadeel is dat je niet kan lopen naar de supermarkt. Maar als je voor een huis bij het strand kiest, dan is weet je dat van te voren. Als we weer naar Lovina gaan, willen we weer hier logeren. Hele fijne medewerkers. Ze zorgen ervoor dat je een heel fijn verblijf hebt.

Totally awesome property

Probably can't say enough. The staff was very helpful, always friendly but not intrusive. The Villa was spacious, good floorplan, very clean, very well kept with all new appliances. It was quiet, yet we had access to any adventures that North Bali offers. The food prepared by the staff was overwhelmingly good and plenty of leftovers. We had 10 people in our group and everyone was very impressed in every way possible. I would not hesitate to return to this location.

Beyond Amazing

First, listen when you’re advised to have a driver. Best advice ever, but we rented a car. BIG MISTAKE! We’ve driven in RHD countries before, so we thought renting a car wouldn’t be a hassle. Both Apple Maps and Google Earth have a software problem staying on the cross island road. Apple Maps directed us onto a one lane road (with two way traffic) in the mountains. No guardrails, sheer drops, and oncoming trucks and motor scooters made for slow and dicey going. Then we hit a pothole and had a flat tire. It was dark and we didn’t even know where the jack was in the rental car. A kind Balinese family took care of us and found a mechanic who changed our tire in their yard. We arrived four hours late. We should have listened to Angelique… The Villa Mango Trees FAR EXCEEDED our expectations. Anik and the rest of the staff were attentive, friendly, courteous, and they did everything that they could to provide an enjoyable stay for us. Our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer visit.

Amazing stay in beautiful villa with great staff!

We rented this villa to celebrate Christmas with our family and it was perfect. The villa is beautiful, it is kept in tip top condition and the staff is there to either attend to your every need or to just be available as needed. It is a quiet part of the island with not a lot going on, just what we were looking for. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Fantastic Stay!

The Villa Mango Trees would get ten stars if I could! The online pictures and reviews were all very accurate. The Villa is very comfortable for a small group or large group. The beds were great and the view is amazing. Each morning they clean the black sand beach and the ocean is shallow and easy to swim in. The staff are the very best part. They made fantastic meals and I wanted for nothing while there. The hired driver was also great and I never worried about transportation. Angelique arranges everything to get your vacation off to a good start with no worrying about airport or hotel pickups. I prefer a more remote location and Lovina is not near Ubud and traffic is very bad so please look at a map before deciding where to stay in Bali. It is a 3-4 hour drive from the airport to the Villa. Each time I went to Ubud I couldn’t wait to get back north to the Villa. Book it for more time than you think because you won’t want to leave. La villa est en tous points conforme à la description et nous y avons passé un séjour formidable. Le nord de Bali est resté authentique et nous avons pleinement profité de calme, de vues paradisiaques, d’activités variées, et d’une équipe chaleureuse et disponible qui s’occupe de tout dans la villa (cuisine, ménage, lessives, jardin, piscine, etc…). La villa est un peu excentrée mais ce n’est pas du tout un problème car tous les restaurants ou activités (nautiques ou autres) proposent toujours de venir vous chercher à la villa ce qui évite de louer voiture ou scooter. Nous recommandons sans réserve cette villa et y retournerons si nous en avons une prochaine occasion.

What luxury!

My partner and I spent 6 luxurious nights at Villa Mango Trees at the start of our trip. We were in desperate need of unwinding and relaxing and this was the place to do it. The highlight was the staff. Putu, Illu, Gede and Made made us feel welcome, safe and looked after. the meals we had cooked for us were the best we had during our stay in Bali. If it's your jam, insist on them preparing for you what THEY have for breakfast (closer to nasi goreng). The house and rooms were divine. The bathrooms were tropically delicious. The gardens were truly beautiful and the pool was great. The staff readily arranged the things we needed and wanted for us. We were made to feel a member of the family. We happily recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Perfect spot for a quiet vacation

My friends and I had no idea about which locations were popular with tourists and which ones were more isolated and quiet. Booked this one as the reviews were rave and the price was right. It did not disappoint. Bali was the tail end of our Asia trip and I am glad we booked this villa. It is far from the airport (~3 hour drive) but the owner will gladly arrange transport for you if you need it. Located on the northern coast, right on the beach..you will have spectacular views over the ocean, we even caught a few thunderstorms. The villa was immaculate with plenty of sun beds and a large pool to enjoy. The staff were amazing and happy to help us out with booking transportation/massages/tours and recommending things to do. One thing is the villa is a bit isolated so I recommend either renting a car or scooters as it is quite far (by foot) from the nearest town. However, the staff are happy to assist with this booking or getting you a driver who will take you around the island. All in all, would definitely recommend this villa if you want to keep away from the crowds of tourists and enjoy a nice relaxing trip to Bali.

Gorgeous property in a relaxing and beautiful setting

I had a wonderful time at this property. I spent 3 weeks alone there, a perfect retreat It was very beautiful, both inside and outside of the house. The sound of the surf was relaxing and the reflective surface of the pool was entrancing. The staff of wonderful and attentive to detail. The garden and pool were well taken care of and I felt safe at night with the watchman and well placed lighting. Iluh and Putu took excellent care of the house and of me. They cooked simple home style meals, and arranged everything for me including my massages, visits to town and to the Spice Beach Club for some variety. The manager of the property, Anik, even took my passport in to get an extension on the Visa. On the last day at their suggestion, I went to the nearby Buddhist temple and to the Hot Springs. I wish I had gone there earlier so I could have gone to them more once. My only complaint was a couple times when the next door neighbors rental had noisy children that woke me up early in the morning and adults that partied until fairly late. But that was only 3 or 4 days and I don't think there's anything that the owner of this villa could do about that. Most the time it was private and tranquil. Highly recommended.

Det var en mycket fin villa som hade två underbara hushållerskor som ordnade frukosten varje dag och dessutom om så önskades både lunch ock middag. Dom fina omgivningarna sköttes om en trädgårdsmästare tillika poolskötare. Säkerheten ombesörjdes av en nattvakt. Den enda nackdelen var att villan låg långt från butiker och restauranger vilket innebar att man skulle behöva ha tillgång till bil.

Heaven on Earth

This was our favorite place to stay in our travels. We loved the beautiful villa and grounds, the pool, the view, and especially the staff who never failed to greet us with a friendly smile. Our only regret is we didn't stay longer. Don't hesitate to book this villa. It is well worth the drive, and you will see a slice of Bali that is much more laid back and pristine than the normal tourist spots.

Everything advertised and more

Really, the listings do not do this lovely property justice. Very comfortable accommodation with everything you would need. Attentive, competent and friendly staff who enjoyed interacting with us and going above and beyond even inviting us to their Hindu temple on a major festival day. When we had issues with lost luggage Anek was very helpful and our driver, Tu Deh was very safe and personable. Overall, we loved our stay at Villa The Mango Trees and would highly recommend it to others.
