The house, pool and beach were alll great, but what makes this property the best in Bali is the staff! They were amazing, the food, and assistance book day trips was 10 out of 10!

Es war alles sehr schön. Ketut war eine freundliche und aufmerksame Haushälterin. Nur die obere Toilette roch sehr unangenehm aus dem Abfluss. Eine tolle Poolanlage.

Amazing stay at Villa Santai

Amazing grounds and staff - Mrs Ketut met all of our needs for meals and coordinating drivers and activities—and Ketut also coordinated activities and drivers / felt spoiled the whole time - it was paradise!

Een hele mooie villa met fantastisch personeel.

Mooie villa, zoals de foto’s laten zien op de site.Heel vriendelijk ontvangst.De twee dames die voor ons kookten waren echt heel vriendelijk en gastvrij. En daarbij was het eten geweldig.Zij regelden echt alles, van taxi tot boodschappen.Kortom een echte aanrader.

Simply Amazing!

Bali Birthday Bliss

Property is beautiful and outstanding, even better than the photos portrayed. Incredibly relaxing ambiance. The staff have a 24/7 sunny disposition. Ketut and Iluh, in particular, treated us like family and it became our home for 12 days. So many happy memories.

Fantastic

Villa & gardens were very well maintained & was perfect for a relaxing holiday. Katut & lluh were wonderful & really looked after us. Their cooking was very good (we preferred to eat at the Villa) & they were happy to help with booking transport, arranging doctor or or any of our requests.

Perfect!

We enjoyed a week at Villa Santai and highly recommend to anyone seeking peace & privacy away from the tourist crowds. The Villa is on the beach and has a lovely garden setting with a large pool, spa & waterfall. We were looked after by Iluh and her food surpassed all the meals we had in Lovina town. Lovina is a 10 minute drive away which suited us fine. We were a couple but the villa is big and can cater for 10 people.

Perfect relaxen

We hebben genoten van de rust en het prachtige zwembad. De bedden zijn comfortabel en de badkamers netjes en schoon. Iluh staat elke ochtend klaar met een ontbijt naar je wensen. De tuin is prachtig. Wat kan je nog meer wensen op vakantie? Wij komen zeker nog eens terug.

Revisiting Bali after 30 years

First time visit to Lovina and loved it. It's still Bali as it was 30yrs ago but more Bikes ha! The villa was perfect in quiet area on the beach. Staff were wonderful as was the meals they prepared daily for us. Transport was easily arranged when needed. Our highlight was the food, cocktails and snorkeling.

Excellent endroit

Tout était parfait, excellent service, massage et les repas fait à tout les jours. Par contre nous avons eux des petites déceptions. Pleins de vidange sur la plage, beaucoup de locaux, jamais trouvé le bateau pour prendre un verre et voir le couché de soleil et un bruit de moteur à partir de 8 h le matin car construction juste côté.

Fantastic

This place was wonderful. We were 10 persons living in this villa during Christmas. It was enough of space for all of us and the bedrooms were better then we expected from the pictures. Ketut and Ilun cleaned the house for us and cocked our food every day that we liked, they also arranged different trips for us. They were always helpful to make our stay confortable. We really appreciated the garden and the beautiful areas were we could hang around. The pool was great with a small waterfall that makes it more than just a pool. It was the perfect place for a big family to relax and we give this place our warmest recommendations. // Swedish family

The Amazing Villa Santai

We booked this Villa with the intent of a relaxing and peaceful getaway and it delivered 100% The villa itself was perfect for our 3 generation family with lots of bedrooms with aircon and a big open plan dining room. The gardens and pool were beautiful. The Villa exceeded our expectations. The highlights were definitely the staff that work here, taking care of everything for us with big friendly smiles everyday they made us feel so welcome and special. If you want to experience the quieter side of Bali, be looked after, and just relax. I recommend booking this villa. We will miss you lovely people and hope to return one day. Thank you so much. Fabulous Villa, Great Country and Lovely People

The ill is gorgeous, and the new owners have made some lovely aesthetic changes that made it better than advertised. I cannot praise the staff at the villa, and those supporting the villa (Angelique, Ketut, Ketut Landra and especially Elu). They made our stay impeccable, able to account for our needs and provide support and recommendations etc. It was like having your own private hotel (if the hotel was the Ritz) The North of Bali is quieter than the South ands perfect for needed R&R, but still had access to lovely restaurants and places to go and things to do (all arranged via Ketut & Ketut Landra) We had two fabulous weeks and will return. Thank you all to made our stay awesome.

Beautiful home

Such a beautiful place to stay. Everything was well maintained. Just be aware that it is a long windy road to the north. If you get motion sickness, make sure you take meds for motion sickness. The highlight of the stay was the staff. Especially Ms. Ketut. She was amazing. Even when some of us got sick, Ms. Ketut took care of us. Anything we needed, she got it done. Thank you Mr. Ketut for arranging everything. I recommend you bring Imodium AD for stomach issues and tons of insect repellant. If you like to snorkel, I recommend you bring your own gear. Overall we had a great stay. I will definitely be coming back.

wonderful place

Thank you very much for this amazing place. My family had an awesome stay, everyone was happy about the villa. The housekeepers and the gardeners were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing, the Indonesian breakfast or the western breakfast, it's was really good and the housekeepers were preparing everything and kept everything really tidy and cleaned everything 6 times a week. It's directly on the beach and it's wonderful. It takes a short ride to Lovina central, but it's alright because you have a lot privacy at the villa. I recommend this villa to everyone. It's easy to organise a driver when you talk to the front desk manager. It was definitely not the last time to rent that villa. Thank you to everyone and see you soon. Beautiful Home Highly Recommend

Thank you Ketut! The place is amazing! You are a great host ! Incredible view of the Bali Sea . Laying in bed listening to the waves crashing makes this location very special. The GARDNER’s Komang and Kadek , did a terrific job with the yard work . The Grounds are beautiful. This was a friend getaway and to also celebrate two of our birthdays. We went out to dinner twice and regretted it . Iluh is amazing cook! The dishes she prepared where five star . We couldn’t get enough of her smoothies and fresh fruit platters and her traditional foods of the region . The staff decorated are room for our birthdays. Everyone went above and beyond. Thank you for a unforgettable stay .

Absolutely a must visit

My family had such a great time at Villa Santai! Its hard to over state the beauty of the grounds and the quality of the staff that made each day a treat. The pool is perfect to swim in any time of the day. Warm enough at night and plenty of shady spots for the heat of the day. A waterfall cascading down a rockscape past the jet pool leading down into the larger pool with magnolias and other trees flowering overhead is stunning. Plenty of little nooks to retreat to while reading or doing a little online work. Nice open dining area to be spoiled for each meal. Don't regret anything about it. But even more incredible are the staff. We had Elu handling the cooking and cleaning and the two times we ate in town, we found ourselves regretting it as the cooking back at the villa was superior. She was also so accommodating with a group of poor planners switching up our times and supplying us with snacks before dive sessions. Thank you so much. And I can't say enough good things about Ketut. She was the ninja of helpfulness. She overheard us discussing getting our vias renewed, interjected that it could be done in Lovina and then proceeded to basically handle the whole getting it expedited leaving us with just one visit into town to get pictures and fingerprints taken. Totally saved two days of hastle. Ketut did that with so many things. Scooter rental, dolphin boat scheduling, dive shop arrangements, etc... Thank you so much for the helping hand! We will definitely be back.
