The house is absolutely beautiful. We loved the patio and spent most our time out on it. However the place could really use a deep clean, updated furniture, and some new pots and pans.

Great older beach house

Its an older beach house. The layout is nice for either large or multi-family with all the little rooms and spaces. If you are looking for a large open floor plan then this isn't it. The location on the beach was really nice. Watch the stairs going down a few boards on the steps are loose (part of owning a beach house). The showers had plenty of hot water but they are old and anyone over 5'5" would have to bend down to get their head under. Kitchen was well stocked but things are a bit older, like pans, utensils and such. Our family of 5 had a great time.

I have stayed at thos property several times over the past 15 years. Sadlt, it is not being maintained, cleaned or managed in a way that is worthy of this amazing property.

Great Beach House

I have stayed in beach houses since I was a small child. A great beach is clean and comfortable; it has an easy, casual feel about it; it has a beautiful view of the ocean and sunsets; it allows you to hear and sea the waves; and, it has easy, direct access to the beach. This beach scored high on all those! Our gang plans to be back next year!! Thanks so much for the chance to stay there…

beautiful Bandon

This rental has a beautiful view of the ocean. The house is set up very nice for large groups. We had 9 people (9 adults, 3 teens) and there was plenty of room for everyone. The sleeping areas for the kids were or could be separated from the main living room allowing the adults to enjoy the ocean views while the kids slept. Very nice.

Works for mobility limitations

One of us was mobility-limited and we looked long and hard for an accessible one-story property in Bandon. This one fit the bill, with a no-stair entrance to the northernmost unit of the house. Toilets were not handicapped-accessible, but we brought along a portable commode with handrails and had no problem.

Great Views

This is the third year that my sister and I have stayed here and celebrated our Christmas together. We love this place. Great Views of the ocean and easy access as well. We hope to stay again in 2024.

Golf trip homebase

Great location, with great access to beach and stunning sunsets! Property was clean and well stocked with bedding, towels and kitchen ware. Decor could use some upgrades and airconditioning was not accessable, along with some windows. Positives outweighed thenegatives on the whole.

Perfect Location

When walking into this home, the first thing you see is the ocean right out of the front window, absolutely beautiful.. the layout of the home was perfect for some of my family to have privacy. I did not like how the only tv's in the home were in front of hide-a-beds. At night only the people in bed could watch tv and have some privacy. The bathrooms and bedrooms were nice. Plenty of linens and towels. After arriving we noticed the internet was not working. It says that it's online but when you connect to the internet it says "no internet connection". On the second day I called Vacasa to inform them of the internet outage, the agent advised me to call tech support for the internet company. I called, the modem wasn't getting power at all and had been offline since May 2nd. The tech support agent said they could send out a technician on the 4th day of our 5 day stay. We had plans for that day and I was not going to wait there for an internet technician. The agent said that if I was on the account I could take the modem to a store (30 minutes away) of the internet company and swap the modem but obviously I was not on the account. I needed the wifi to support the business I run at home, which I was unable to do without the wifi. I had very intermittent phone reception.

Family get together

This house is the perfect beach property. High enough above the beach that you have amazing views with easy beach access. The beach is wonderful for walking. The house has everything you could ever need . Everything in the house was labeled, drawers, light switches, sheets. You never had to search for things. All beds were comfortable, including the hide-a-beds. Will definitely be coming back!

Here are our complaints…very frustrating.

Given the wrong code in the email to get into the lock box….finally reached a person to talk to, then she gave us numerous other numbers to try….then our son found another lock box on the deck side of the house, she gave us other numbers to try and finally got it open and the right set of keys to open the house. Our daughter and family drove from Tehachapi CA, we came from Mpls, MN (flew to Portland), son came from Mt Hood….so we were tired when we arrived….very frustrated. Took at least 15 to 30 minutes to get into the house. We had to bring the garbage cans and recycling containers up to the house from the street…recycling dumped all over the street. We shouldn’t have to pick up recycling…,have an employee that lives close by to do this. When your paying over 4,000 dollars to stay in a house for 4 nights….something is wrong. Please make these corrections, so other guests don’t have to put up with the frustrations. Thank You

Superb location and needs updates

Our family group of 9 (ages 16-88) thoroughly enjoyed this primo beachfront location. That having been said, the property needs many updates. Screen doors can be a challenge to open/close, living room rug has stains and the house has an odd assortment of glassware and NO wine glasses. The deck is wonderful to watch the ocean from but it could really use a new coat of paint. It feels like the owners don’t spend much time there. If you go in the wintertime, then the daily rate is a steal. Given summertime rates, it was pricey…..especially with all of the Vacasa fees tacked on.

Bandon on the Beach

I will talk about the good, then the bad. The Good: The location is outstanding. The home has a beautiful view and is right next to the public beach access point. Bandon is a fun area and we stopped there for two days on the way up the coast. The Bad in summary: the place was filthy and there was no hot water in one of the two units we rented (there are three rentable parts). In Detail: I had seen a number of great ratings on the place, and they are just not what we experienced. I have stayed a number of times with Vacasa who manages this place, so I was surprised by the problems, although grateful for the help desk when I called. Unfortunately, the local support person was on vacation and there was nothing they could do the first day we were there other than read me some basic troubleshooting options to get the water hot, none of which worked. To be fair, they offered to come the second day we were there to try and fix the problem, but I had visions of someone tromping around the plumbing and we would rather deal with no hot water in one of the units than some stranger trying to fix the place. The Vacasa help desk told me this was a new property for them, so there may be some issues there. After all cleaning charges, etc, we paid $1,100 per night for two nights in July 2021. My advice is if you can find another place in Bandon that fits your needs, skip this one. If you need a place though, the location is excellent.

Great vacation house on the beach

Amazing location; a tad dated

We had 7 guests and rented the entire home. The location cannot be any better: fantastic view, easy beach access, easy walk or bike to town (2.5 miles). The home is a bit dated, but clean (except for the ceiling fan, which looks as though it has never been cleaned). It was nice that the 3 bedrooms all had their own bathroom. The sunroom pullout couch was comfortable as well. The dishwasher needs replacing. Other than those couple of minor things, our stay was wonderful and I would return. :)
