Beautiful location on quiet road, and peaceful lake. Interior very clean! Caught lots of fish from the dock and saw some beautiful sunrise and sunsets! Had a family of otters keep me company each morning right by the dock! My kids loved the built in beds downstairs! Checking and communication were wonderful! My only critiques: master bed is quite broken in and had a big "hump" in the middle, the outdoor grill was kinda falling apart and certainly needs replacing, and the bench and posts on the dock were very loose and coming apart which made them a bit hazardous. Normal wear/tear issues though that could easily be remedied. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the cabin on Balsam Lake! The downstairs area was perfect for the kids and we had plenty to do between fishing and the kayaks. We braved the seaweed in the middle of the lake for a short swim but were happiest on top of the water.

Mom and Kids retreat

The checking was easy. The cabin was exactly as described. Kitchen was perfect for our little family retreat before they enter their final year of college. Very peaceful and serene. We were able to relax and connect!

Preview to 4th of July Celebration

This was a great stay for parents with married children as well as a teen and 10 year old boy.Cabin is well comfortable for six, but not spacious, also a little fun and quirky. There is plenty of room outside for spreading out.The lake is not large, but fairly quiet and peaceful, great for included kayaks.

Quick trip from the Twin Cities!

Wonderful property, photos and descriptions do it justice. Cabin is clean and well stocked with kitchen supplies, games and floaties. Quick trip from the cities, it’s nice to feel like you’re alway without being too far away!

Such an amazing stay. The firepit near the lake and the dock were awesome. The cabin itself had everything you need! Super clean and organized. Would recommend to anybody looking to get away for a few days!
