"We stayed here for two nights and felt cosy even in the storm which started the night we checked in. I was bit concerned for the heating and facilities for it being a one room lodge with what seems not the most cold resistant insulation around windows and doors. BUT I have to say that never we felt cold as heater quickly warmed up both room and bathroom, and it stayed so. We absolutely loved interior of our little room. "We stayed in The Barn for a couple of nights, a wonderful house , very comfortable, plenty of space. It was a little cold, and did take a while to heat up after we turned the heat on. One thing to note, there are no instructions on how to use the beautiful Falcon stove. Maybe a simple sign in the kitchen , with the basic instructions please, for those like us who have no experience with this type of stove."

"If you want a beautiful, quiet spot, right on the edge of Loch Lomond, then this is the place for you. It is quite remote other than the nearby hotel and the roads to get there are narrow, so not one for those wanting lots of nearby options for food drink (need to drive 20 mins)."

"This was a lovely peaceful place to stay. The house felt like a home and had everything we needed. We were pleased we had a car, it would’ve been difficult to access the property without one. It was only a short drive to the shops to get supplies. Tay cottage was private. We enjoyed sitting in the spa and looking out onto a paddock of sheep and the towns in the distance . We’d definitely come back if we had the opportunity."
