Über den Anfahrtsweg zum Haus hoppelten Kaninchen. Das Kaminfeuer brannte bei unserem Eintreffen schon. Die sehr freundlichen Besitzer, die ca. 300 m entfernt wohnen, haben uns mit Milch und Eiern von glücklichen Hühnern versorgt. His mother met us at the property when we arrived to show us around, and she made fresh scones for us as well. This is in a great location that's quiet but also not far from sites. "We stayed at the second property on the site, Lavender Lane Cottage, which was a lovely newly refurbished 200 year old cottage. It had three double bedrooms(one upstairs) an open plan kitchen, dining area and living area which was all minimalistic but modern and had every amenity we needed for our stay (Con even left us tea/coffee/bread and milk) We felt at home straightaway and all said we could live there.
