We were a family of five traveling to Costa Rica for the first time mainly for the surfing. This house was PERFECT in every way. A lot of reviews have already mentioned Alejandro. But, it really makes a difference to have a contact who is so capable greeting you and getting you situated. We found Dominical felt very safe but as with any tourist location you need to be smart about locking your car and being aware. When in the house we felt VERY safe and secure. The house has everything you could need and is kept in impeccable condition. The views never get old and the hummingbirds and butterflies visited the landscaping around the house every morning. I, honestly, can't even think of one negative thing to say about the house or location. Just perfect.

This property was amazing! We stayed for a week, 4 couples. The bedrooms were great, comfy king size beds in all rooms! The outdoor space was perfect to spend all day and evening in. Alejandro was an excellent, suggest and made reservations for 2 great restaurants and took care of any requests we had. Definately will be back!

Paul and Alejandro are fantastic hosts in the most beautiful setting you can imagine. Honestly loved the town, the country, the activities, the food, the people and service more than anywhere else I’ve visited. Whole heartedly recommend this vacation home.

Your search is over...THIS is Paradise Found!

Imagine a stunning, incredibly comfortable, well thought out private home in the jungle, with a expansive viewing deck overlooking your own personal wildlife sanctuary...front row seats to occasional visits from howler and white face monkeys, daily visits from iguanas, fly-bys from beautiful paired macaws, not to mention a plethora of insects that may cause your heart to stop briefly until you just realize "don't touch it", and marvel at their size! Now, imagine looking just past all of this and seeing the massive ocean expanse with crashing waves that literally vibrate you to sleep at night as they hit the shore below. Imagine your mornings swinging in a hammock with a smooth Costa Rican coffee blend listening to the jungle waking up(well, it really never sleeps but it has volumes and varieties!); days/evenings spent lounging in the luxurious spa and pool, tempered to account for the hot, humid days or if it's cooler, sitting around the firetable. Not sure what more could be added to the multitude of amazing reviews that accurately sum up the bliss that we enjoyed for 2 weeks at Paul's "resort"! Our first week we barely even left the house, and we are adventure people! All past reviews are so accurate and helpful in terms of house layout and ammenities. Paul and Alejandro were amazing communicating! Do yourself a favor, stop searching other homes and book this one!! We've booked many rental homes over the years and this one is, by far, our favorite!

Amazing

Our group of seven stayed here. What amazing views! Great location perfectly centered between Domincalito where we surfed daily and Dominical where we would eat and shop. Couldn’t get enough of all the animals on the property. We named a few, stubs the iguana that was missing her tale would visit daily. Will definitely be coming back!

Ocean view paradise

The organization by the management team was far beyond anything i have ever experienced with VRBO. I say team, because it is run by the owner, and a real estate company/group. The team functioned better than a high end hotel with, essentially, a concierge and all around sweet, hard working person in Alejandro. Ale' basically facilitated the whole trip and provided that critical local knowledge that can make or break your day when traveling to an unfamiliar area. They also have a shuttle service from the airport, it does cost extra, but was a big help. We traveled with 4 children, and the whole trip was hands down one of the best I have ever experienced. The home itself is luxurious and located just a short drive from any local excursions you may want. The photos online do not do the home, it's lush surroundings, or view/sunsets any justice. If I could give the home, and the assistance we had, and the trip more than 5 stars, I would. Thanks to Paul, Alejandro, Katya, and the rest of the team for assisting with an amazing trip.

Dominical Pura Vida

The House and Property were perfect for our family and friends, the house and the grounds were clean, comfortable and well maintained. Paradise!

We had an incredible holiday at Paul’s Villa. The views are magical, the wildlife is on your doorstep, and the villa is well-equipped and beautifully maintained. I highly recommend this property. The town of Dominical is a short car ride (or walk on the beach) and has 2 great supermarkets, a pharmacy, and lots of restaurants. Everything you need. It’s the nicest town along this stretch of the Pacific. Much nicer than Quepos, Jaco or Uvita. We look forward to coming back. Paul and Alejandro were hands on and very helpful throughout our stay. Thank you!

Better in person!.. pictures don’t do justice!

Exceeded ALL our expectations and more! This property was perfect for ourselves and 3 grown children and their spouses with 4 bedrooms.. all with king beds and en-suites so no one felt like got a lesser room and two extra half baths in good locations. Beautiful pool area with overview of the ocean— hearing waves at night was so magical.Alejandro gave us several great recommendations such as chef Rosbin who came three days, massages that came to the house. Activities such as paragliding which was definitely a hi light. It was a great week of family time and the house is set up so comfortably and evening activities with a pool table and foosball were used. We hope to return sooner rather than later.

Beautiful View- Wow…Wow…Wow!!!!

Beautiful house with an amazing view! The photos do not do this house justice . We were a group of 4 couples and had plenty of space to lounge & relax. The bedrooms suites all have super comfortable beds. Our group is all from AZ & we struggled with the humidity of Costa Rica. The bedrooms all had wonderful Air conditioning units in them but kitchen/living room did not have air which would have been an added bonus. Paul & Aleandro went above & beyond to make sure that we all had a great time and were always there to help or give us suggestions. We used Chef Roy & enjoyed 5 beautiful evenings at home. The pool was a refreshing after a day of tours & exploring & the pool table & outside areas provided hours of relaxation. The house does sits above one of the main roads & the Jake brakes from the trucks are loud. We are already missing the friendly people & beautiful views. Thanks again to Aleandro & Paul!

The house is in a great location, was very clean and close to the pictures. Very happy with the stay. all the bedrooms were great, a very nice kitchen and views at sunset cant be beat. Alejandro greeted us and showed us around the town which was supper helpful. highly recommend

Stunning property w views of miles of beach

Fantastic stay at stunning property. Loved the genuinely incredible views and design. Modern comfortable furnishings. Plenty of space so each couple could have some private time and groups of 4 to 10 could gather as well. Great grill and new fridge. 20 year old house showing some need for maintenance though with hottub tripping breaker on first night, leak in roof above 2nd floor bedroom, ac failing in downstairs bedroom another night and broken microwave after first two days. Alejandro did all he could to insure a great stay including arranging rafting and zip lining and an incredible meal w chef roger. Welcome basket of fruit and wine a wonderful touch. mic microwave. Beautiful house in Dominical

We enjoyed a stay here with 9 of us, 5 adult/kids (age 15-22), and 4 parent/adults. The house is as beautiful as advertised in the pictures. Each bedroom is essentially a master suite. The kitchen was very nice, with everything you'd need to cook meals and more. We very much enjoyed playing pool outdoors but under the overhang in the evenings when it would rain sometimes through the week. The beds had very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Last but not least, Alejandro the concierge made sure everything was taken care of, from a tour of the house and city when we arrived, to helping book tours (all of which were excellent), to making dinner reservations for us. 11/10 service from him :). You should be aware that the (0.15 mile) driveway is very steep but it is paved. If you walk up you'll have some sweat on your forehead when you reach the top but that's perfect because you can go straight into the pool and it's quite refreshing! Dominical is a very laid back, quiet town, but with enough bars/restaurants and small shops to keep our "kids" busy. You can walk to essentially your own private beach (it's not really private, but we literally had it to ourselves every time we went) in about 10-12 minutes. You do have to walk for a short stretch (I'd guess about 150-200 yards) on a fairly busy road to get there, but it wasn't too bad. Another 20 minutes walking on the beach and you're downtown Dominical. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house to others.

Beautiful view

This villa is in a great location very close to Dominical and right off of the main highway. Definitely recommend a 4X4 because though short the drive to the villa is steep and has a sharp right turn to get into garage/s. We were a family of 9 and it was perfect for us. Alejandro was always available if needed.

Perfect Adult Family Gathering!

I took my mother and my two adult daughters and their significant others with my husband on a wonderful family vacation. The house is well equipped, and each bedroom has a fantastic view of the ocean and an en suite. We enjoyed hanging out together, Paul and Alejandro, we’re happy to help with anything we needed. We are already looking to book again this time maybe with a group of friends. Walk to the beach is quite steep so you need to take that into consideration. Overall, we had a wonderful stay, and I highly recommend!

Magical

We called this beautiful house home while attending Envision Festival. The property is beautiful, the management was amazing, loved having housekeeping every other day, short walk to a private beach, perfectly located. Just stunning!!!! Atardeceres espectaculares

Tuvimos la oportunidad de hospedarnos en casa de Paul. Las fotografías se quedan cortas con el espectacular paisaje que se puede tener desde cualquier punto de la casa, increíbles atardeceres y una al mar amplísima. La casa muy cómoda, tiene todo lo que necesitas para sentirte como en casa. Los cuartos con sus baños privados, de acabados modernos. La cocina bien equipada. Tiene parrilla de muy fácil uso. Disfrutamos de la mesa de billar ( también tiene futbolín que no usamos, pero estaba completo ). La piscina y el jacuzzi son la cereza del lugar, invitan a pasar siempre ahí disfrutando de la vista. La comunicación con don Alejandro y don Paul fue sencilla y respondieron de manera rápida y eficiente. En resumen.. es un lugar para volver, y altamente recomendado.
