Turning 50 in Costa Rica!!

Our experience with this property was amazing from start to finish. Linda and Kevin are the most gracious hosts and went above and beyond to help us plan an a seamless celebration of our fleeting youth The pictures do not do it justice…the view is breathtaking. I highly recommend this property and I definitely plan return to this property with my the rest of my family.

Everything was lovely and exceptional!

We had the best time at this lovely home! Linda and Chris were so thorough and helpful with anything we needed, from car rentals and excursions to daily questions from our group. The home was spacious and accommodating for a group of 5 couples. Each room having a kind size bed + private bathroom was awesome! Couldn’t beat the short walk to the beach and security gates were nice to have for access to the property too. The home is close to the main coastal roadway (unavoidable if you want to be close to beach in this area). So you will hear auto and truck noise. Not a huge deal, especially w/ good music playing poolside, but thought I’d mention. We had a fantastic stay and time overall!!

Amazing Stay!

We loved Casa Linda. The home exceeded our expectations. The view was amazing, location was convenient. The home was clean, furnished beautifully, and comfortable. Kevin and Linda were very helpful. We would definitely return to this property.

Excellence in Costa Rica!

Our stay in Costa Rica at Casa Linda was most enjoyable. Casa Linda was better in person than the pics could show. Linda and Tati were the best! The location was a beautiful setting overlooking the ocean and convenient to all that we wanted to do! We can’t wait to go back!

Gorgeous house near Dominical - perfect for friends/ couples trip!

I stayed here with my husband, three other couples and two children. The house is gorgeous, clean with modern appliances. The views are credible. Each bedroom has a king bed and en-suite bathrooms and very cold A/C which you be happy about. The common areas are not but that is very common in CR and it didn’t bother us. This house was a perfect fit. Our bed was super comfortable and we slept like babies. Alejandro was fantastic at helping us with transportation, a rental car, an excursion and private chef. He and Linda and Kevin type property managers were super responsive via what’s app throughout our stay. Tatiana the housekeeper was great. The place was stocked with the all the basics and there was wonderful welcome gift of fruit, snacks and beer. We loved the pool and there were lots of pool toys. The location is about a five minute drive to Dominical. It is a cute little town. La Junta was my favorite restaurant with the best food and bloody Marias. We had fun at Fuego and Phat Noodle, as well. You’re supposed to be able to walk to the town from the beach during low tide, but we never tried that. We also saw four Scarlett macaws in town one day. We didn’t see any monkey or sloths just around the property but here were some pretty amazing iguanas hanging out while we were there. This house was really wonderful and the service and hospitality we received were fantastic. Highly recommend !!

Dominical House

Dominical was wonderful and for the most part so was the house. We saw no monkeys at the house but were there in the hottest part of the year, and I hear they go up into the hills that time of year, so you might have more wildlife outside February and March. We did see a Toucan in the tree next to the house, lots of geckos, iguanas who visited us at the pool, and other birds I can't name. Very clean and the owner, who lived downstairs at the time, was very attentive and helpful and went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable. There were some maintenance needs that we made the owner aware of and I am sure have been addressed by now, but worth asking about before you book. The one that stands out the most is that the dishwasher would fall out of the kitchen counter when opened, due to rotten wood or perhaps a prior tenant who was too rough with it. Still worked, but watch your toes if it's not fixed. Road noise is unavoidable in this area if you want to be close to the beach yet on the hill, but be aware the big trucks use air brakes a lot and it is pretty loud. So, not perfect, but all in all if you are looking for a big clean house with a fabulous view, in a secure area, where every bedroom has its own in suite bathroom, and the ability to walk a short distance to the beach, this was a nice find. I would stay here again due to location and awesome owner.

Perfect for groups of friends and/or family

The house is beautiful with a breathtaking view from all corners of the house, with the most amazing being the pool deck over looking the infinity pool. Everything Costa Rica has to offer, including amazing beaches, wildlife, waterfalls, mountains, mangroves, etc are within a short drive from the house. The host are the best. They offer concierge services that can help plan so many things that you may like to do. They responded to questions and provided information in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone! Just remember you’re in Costa Rica, so things will be different than a similar house in the U.S. You won’t regret choosing this stay for your relaxing getaway.

Perfect vacation

Casa Linda was absolutely perfect. Large enough that 4 couples had their privacy. There was plenty to do in the immediate area. Linda and Kevin the property managers were extremely friendly and helpful. We had Chef Roger do the food shopping and cook dinner every night, and every meal was amazing. I would strongly recommend Casa Linda.

Great stay at Casa Linda!

We had a great stay, and the pictures accurately represented the property. The location is very close to town, which was great, however you can hear a lot of road noise. We had chef Roger come in for two days and that was a real treat! The kitchen was also well stocked if you wanted to cook yourself. We would stay here again next time we come to Dominical!

Well-appointed condo with great location near the beach and restaurants

The condo was a very comfortable space to share with friends and a visiting daughter. The 3 bedroom, 3 bath set-up provides privacy and the 2nd floor communal kitchen/dining/living room area is great for social activities. It's a short walk to beach access and several restaurants that we enjoyed. There is a grocery store and pharmacy nearby. The "Little Pink Church" across the street is so welcoming to visitors! The property manager, Jo was exceptionally helpful and prompt in communication with us. There was road construction throughout our stay. It was an inconvenience at times but we had a delightful experience overall.

Wonderful home and location - Exceeded Expectations

We had high expectations for this house and it exceeded almost all of them. It is a spectacular home and our family loved our weeklong stay. The driveway is super steep and a bit extreme, but you can definitely walk to the beach. Our 70-something parents were able to make it back but they did not want to do it again. In any case, the beach out front of the property was nearly empty of other humans and simply magnificent. The town of Dominical is nice and there is tons of things to do in just a short drive. If you want to learn surfing the area is perfect as well. We are dreaming of going back one day.

Wonderful time

Spent Thanksgiving week here with 8 adult family members. Communication was great ahead of time thru whatsapp and was able to setup shuttles, rental cars, massages and Chef Rosbin with Alejandro. Onsite in separate apartment was Tatiana who was there to help whenever needed but never saw her outside of that. As great as the pics are, the view from the pool is awesome. Everything is as described - Driveway is steep but dont need 4wd. Able to walk to the beach easily - can't say enough good things. Would definitely recommend for anyone else considering it.

An amazing location with amazing hosts

Our recent stay at Casa Linda was absolutely fantastic and provided the most beautiful setting for my adults only birthday getaway. As a group of 6 we had all the room we needed. Kevin and Linda were such awesome hosts and were there to help any time we needed anything. Alejandro the concierge helped to set up some of the best activities and transportation and connected us with the most amazing chefs, Steven and Fran from The Private Chef. This was hands down one of the best vacations ever—Costa Rica and Casa Linda did not disappoint. We can’t wait to come back!

First Time To Costa Rica

The house was very nice, super clean with amazing views. It had a VERY steep gated driveway that really requires a 4x4 vehicle even though it states in the listing no 4x4 is needed. The location is great in Dominical and is only a short drive to places like Uvita, Quepos, and Manuel Antonio, be warned it is a 3 1/2 hour drive from the airport. We used Chef Roger for lunch and dinner one of our days there and he was fabulous, such yummy food! You will have plenty of leftovers to snack on! Communication was good with the property managers who live on-site, that was a little weird but was okay. One thing to note that I was not fully aware of before booking is the common areas outside of the bedrooms (kitchen, dining, livingroom) are not air-conditioned. I went back to look at the listing and it did state air-conditioned bedrooms, so I wish it was listed more clearly as no a/c in the common areas because it didn't really occur to me beforehand. Even though you could open the doors and all the windows were open too, it was pretty warm throughout the day and evenings. I was not a fan of all the bugs in the house due to the area being open air, especially at night while eating and playing games. Our whole group got bug bites even after using bug spray. The infinity pool was nice and clean with a wonderful view, but was quite deep with no shallow area, only 1 person who was 6ft 5in could stand and it not be over his head. There are floats and noodles which we definitely needed to be able to use the pool each day. The only thing I didn't care for, which is out of the hands of the owners, was the noise from the 18-wheeler engine brakes as they pass the house all day, it just kind of took away from the beach/waves sounds and the ambiance. Overall though, we had a WONDERFUL stay here and would recommend it! Pros: Good location w/ beautiful views Great house layout with 5 bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms 1/2 bath off the common area Nicely stocked kitchen Infinity pool w/ floats and noodles, outdoor shower Very clean Bedrooms w/ good air conditioning Good communication Cons: No air conditioning in common areas Pool is too deep to stand in Could use an outdoor table by the pool Loud road noise from passing 18-wheelers
