  • Este 2350 pies cuadrados. casa de dos niveles tiene una altura de 980 pies. en 43 acres ofrece dos amplios dormitorios en el segundo nivel con sus propias escaleras privadas. techos fabulosos madera, ventiladores de techo, grandes ventanales para vistas sin obstáculos y la brisa fresca. Cada habitación tiene capacidad para 2 personas.

    El nivel uno ofrece dos baños completos, una ducha al aire libre adicional, cocina abierta, área de comedor y sala de estar con vistas a la selva hacia el norte y vistas al océano hacia el sur.

    Todo inmerso en la vida cotidiana de la selva, donde dosel diaria cara y aulladores blanco del mono que se ejecuta sólo unos metros en lo alto de los árboles. Tucanes, loros y halcones son algunas de las muchas aves se pueden ver sin tener que moverse de un columpio relajante en una de las 3 hamacas.

    Las luces solares que recubren el camino interno prístina que atraviesa la propiedad por medio kilómetro. Que ofrecen paseos a través de 43 acres.

    Senderos para los más aventureros que quieren adentrarse en la jungla sin tener que encontrar su propio camino. Los senderos te llevarán a un río en una dirección y arroyos con agua de manantial y caídas en otra. Aunque sorprendente por su cuenta, en este 43 acres de propiedad privada, pueden ser algunas de las excursiones más finos que uno puede hacer.

    Esta propiedad está cerrada y tiene un cuidador en el lugar 24/7 en la entrada.

    El servicio de lavandería está disponible a $ 7 por carga. Dejar en 8a. metro. y será devuelto a la mañana siguiente. Si necesita un servicio rápido háganoslo saber.

    Retiro de basura según sea necesario.

    Las toallas de playa están disponibles para alquilar en $ 5 por toalla. (Las toallas de la casa no están permitidas para uso en la playa).

    Colchonetas de playa están disponibles para alquiler a $ 3 por tapete

    Sillas de playa están disponibles para alquilar en $ 5 por día

    Se necesitará un vehículo 4x4 para el camino público a la propiedad y la mayoría de sus excursiones.

Absolutely beautiful location. You feel completely immersed in the jungle but also have a beautiful view down to the ocean. The grounds felt very safe, they had a tire swing for kids to play on and we went on multiple nature walks to see some amazing wildlife. Would highly recommend for anyone visiting Uvita.

The house and surrounding area is beautiful. Lori was very responsive and helpful. The hot water in the showers was erratic, but other than that, everything was pretty much perfect.You definitely do need a 4x4 to get to the property. We had a Hyundai Tucson which worked okay but something like a Jeep or a higher clearance SUV would be even better. It is very steep and rocky. It is worth it though, for the cooler nights and beautiful views.

Great property and an even better host. Lori met us upon arrival and made the check-in process seamless, which we really appreciated after a long day of travel. The highlight was the outdoor living space and the screened-in bedrooms. The temperature was cool and comfortable, making for a perfect night’s sleep. Highly recommend!

This place was absolutely amazing. The hosts were super helpful giving us recommendations and booking trips for us which we normally always do ourselves. If we had hosts like Lori and Bobby, we will always have them book for us as they have knowledge we don’t have or the internet doesn’t always give us. The location was super clean and the lower level outdoor living was so cool and there weren’t any issues with mosquitos (I’m allergic to them and know when I get bit). If you are contemplating staying here, I highly highly recommend. I’m missing it so much now that we are back in Chicago. So go ahead, book the trip. It was our third trip to Costa Rica and this was definitely our top accommodations we have had.

Eerything was great. You are very much open air living in the jungle in the most beautiful house. Truly glamping at its best. Best to be aware that there are no walls except bedrooms and bathrooms, so wildlife is coming and going freely - so be careful at night for snakes which we did see each night close by. Magical and Wild in the best ways.

The property was beautiful with so much wildlife to see. A little piece of paradise. The views were amazing. We really appreciate the help booking our excursions. I'd surely go back?

Good experience overall

Very clean, very open house. No walls except for the bedrooms and bathrooms. A little hard to get to even with a 4x4 but once there it was very enjoyable.

Pura Vida!

Finka Khan was one of the most beautiful properties I have ever stayed at. The open air concept overlooking the ocean, in the middle of the rain forest…perfection. We saw so many beautiful birds. The hiking trails were well maintained. The location was close enough to town that you could drive to restaurants/markets. As noted by the host, you will need a 4x4.

Living with nature

My fiancé and I had a wonderful 3 nights here. The property is gorgeous and so are the views. Lori is an amazing host and helped us with all of our needs. One of the many things that we loved, was the fact that the pool was cold. The weather was extremely hot while we were in Costa Rica and this was the ONLY place we stayed that had a cold pool. I highly recommend ordering the in-house prepared meals. The food was absolutely delicious. We love it so much there, that my now fiancé proposed to me during our stay.

Privacy with an incredible view

Back to nature and an opportunity to let go and just”be still”. Comfortable bed and outdoor furniture to enjoy the beauty of the jungle. A small pool to relax in complete privacy. Kitchen could use some additional items. Great master bath and an adequate smaller bath. Outdoor stairs from bedroom to baths downstairs. The meal we requested was delicious and more than adequate. Yumm!

A piece of paradise in the jungle

We had the most amazing stay at this jungle retreat. Everything was as depicted. It was peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and frankly a piece of heaven on earth. We enjoyed the open concept, wildlife sights and sounds. Toucans, monkeys, blue morpho butterflies and more. My husband, daughter and I did not want to leave. Beautiful views, private and safe setting. Lori was quick to respond to any questions or needs before and during our stay. She had excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We were sad to leave but hope to return someday. Thanks for a great stay!

Total Jungle Immersion

If you are seeking a stay away from reality and the opportunity to disconnect, look no further. We were awaken by monkeys nearly every morning. If you're a bird watcher, you don't have to go anywhere, simply sit in the open air living room and birds are 360 degrees around you. The nature trails on the property are secluded and dense. Make sure you have 4 wheel drive, the property is pretty far up a steep gravel road.

Amazing Property in a Beautiful Location

Elevated high above Uvita, the property extended views into both the Jungle and the Pacific Ocean below. The facilities were good and it provided us an excellent platform to explore the surrounding area. Lori was pleasant to deal with, provided good information to get there and the facilities in the local area. Note - 4x4 is a must! We hired a local guide in Uvita and were shown Sloths, Monkeys, Cayman, Macaws and a Tree Boa (Snake)! Definitely recommend this and a Whale/ Dolphin Tour. Local restaurants/ bars are good. Particularly enjoyed the Craft pub 'Uvita Beer Garden' situated off the road on the way up to the house. Also, recommend heading right out of the property, up the hill and take in sunset across the Ocean - Stunning!

Uvita! Miss you already!

We began our Costa Rican stay in Uvita. Could have easily been our only stay. Small town charm and lots to see. The ride up to the property is intimidating, but Lori met us at the bottom and guided us up. Shortly, I was a pro. Didn't even use 4wd the remainder of the trip! The home is amazing! Best way to connect with the rain forest. Everything you need is there. The pool was disappointing, more like a large bathtub. We never used it, but it was pretty with the lights on! Uvita is where I'll return when I revisit!

Great for birding but not for staying cool

This place is a birding paradise. But if you don’t like the heat or are sensitive with insects, I don’t think you would enjoy it. I must have missed the fact that there was no AC so it was difficult to cool down. The first floor of the house could use a big fan. The fact that all the cabinets and frig needed to be locked was inconvenient for cooking. The kitchen could use a peeler and a strainer. The driveway is very loud when others drive by. It was an experience in true outdoor Tico living!

Wow!...I can not say enough about this property, the owners and the experience we had. The owners are simply just beautiful people who are beyond helpful and go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. Any info you need or help with planning and they are on it making everything easy. The place itself and the location are simply magical. You are completely private nestled in the rainforest with incredible views of the coast and just as everyone says photos just don't compare to being there. Everyday the birds and wildlife were abundant. Howler monkeys and White Faced monkeys taking turns coming to visit right at your door. Various exotic birds, Toucans of different varieties, and animals such as the Coati and Agouti's passing by. There is also 2 private trails that go to pretty creeks and one even has a waterfall and you have this all to yourself. The area of Uvita is fun and the people are always friendly. You will not find a more pleasant and adventurous place to stay in Costa Rica. Thank You so much for this experience!

Private Pacific Panorama

We arrived a Finca Khan and were greeted by Lori and Bobby, our hosts. Over the course of our one week stay, they were very helpful with any questions we had, whether it was about the home or with questions about the area. The view of the valley and ocean from the open air living/kitchen space is stunning, with varieties of tropical birds and butterflies everyday. We liked relaxing at the house much of the time, so having the dipping pool was nice for cooling off. The property was fun to explore, and there are even paths down to the forest floor river bed. The upstairs of the house is basically set in the canopy of primary forest jungle. The howler monkeys were heard each morning, but we didn't see them without binoculars. We saw the troop of capuchin monkeys once as they swung through trees behind the house. The upstairs bedrooms and the two downstairs bathrooms are all enclosed. We kept the windows open at night for nice air circulation. Since the property is gated, we felt quite safe. The bedroom doors can be locked, and even the refrigerators have locks in case hungry critters are looking for a snack. The kitchen has everything we needed for cooking. There was a pretty heavy rainstorm during our stay, and the electricity went out. We had brought our own flashlights, but there are also flashlights at the house and an umbrella to use. We would definitely recommend this house and would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thanks, Lori and Bobby!

Merveilleux sejour

Cet endroit est magnifique. On ne peut etre plus pres de la nature. Magnifique accueil. Bien que la piscine soit petite, cest parfait pour se rafraichir lors des journees chaudes. Ca prend vraiment un 4x4 pour s'y rendre. Je vous recommande grandement cet endroit

Just perfect!

We so enjoyed our stay at Finca Kahn! The house is a dream nestled in the mountains with a water view on one side and the other up against the jungle. Lori and Bobby, the hosts were great! I would recommend this house to anyone! Pura vida!

Visually stunning property and superb outdoor living concept. This place is peaceful and tranquil. Within 5 mins of arriving at the property I was fast asleep in one of the hammocks!

Great place in the jungle

Amazing view, very cool waking up in the jungle to the monkeys and birds. Lori and Bobby were great hosts, really enjoyed spending time with them. Very attentive and accommodating.

Amazing getaway!

We spent a little over a week here and loved every minute of it! Lori was absolutely incredible with everything, she helped us book some of our activities, gave us pointers on what to do in the area. The house was fantastic, the views spectacular and all of the animals that showed up to the house made it that much better! We were constantly entertained and will definitely be back!
