"Although this little place is ground level and downtown, it was quiet and private. We were just steps from everything and with easy close parking. It was clean and had everything we needed. The host even tipped us off to local events I would not have known about. Saturday market at Cottonwood Falls Park was so fun. "

"Absolutely loved St. Monans and the house, it was the cutest, very clean and comfortable, an amazing location close to the water. We would definitely stay here again. Locals were very friendly and welcoming. Walked to the next town over, met great people, ate at local pubs and cafes and highly recommend Giddy Gannet for the Wee Porker and Latte. Stay in the small town over the big city you won’t regret it. We were there for 2 weeks and would have stayed longer just because the house was perfect....

"My husband and I had a wonderful relaxing few days. Very clean, warm and inviting. We talked into the night around the raised stone firepit. Enjoyed barbequed suppers and relaxed in the sauna. Just be informed that if you have trouble walking the area around the cabin is uphill and rocky. It's very nice and beautiful but I have knee problems and it's good to be aware ahead of time. There's also a beautiful view of the lake through the day and at night. "

Lovely big shower, but very small bathroom sink. Microwave and toaster, no stove/oven, but can use the barbecue on the deck. Thoughtful small touches such as luggage rack, lots of towels, dishes. Good location near highway. Comfortable for 2 adults or 2 with 1 child. Lisa is a very friendly and personable host and happy...
