Booked a house for a long weekend for my Sister’s wedding on Bald Head - great house in an excellent location. Definitely recommend for a family stay. Thanks so much for the memories!

Overall no big issues. However, online listing had three golf carts but the third one had a flat tire and was never fixed during our stay. Outside trash cans were full from previous customer, and took three days to come and empty them. Beach chairs rusted and broken, but were replaced with new ones during our stay.

This is our 6th trip to Bald Head, first time in this house. The location is great! The beach and house deck are great! But there is a difference between a time worn beach house and a FILTHY time worn beach house. This is the later. Some one needs to do a deep clean on this house. The baseboards, floors, and ceiling fans have a layer of crud on them that needs a good scrubbing. It also needs some serious interior updating. There is an area around the kitchen table where the floor is actually soft. If you have any little guys with you that get on the floor to play, I sure wouldn’t recommend this place

This was just perfect for friends and family all week. I love the way the house is set up around the kitchen with lots of room to sit and have separate spaces. The downstairs fridge was a bonus and we enjoyed grilling outside most nights. The house was well equipped and everything worked perfectly. We would love to come back here!

View Times Two will not disappoint from the location and views. This beach cottage was equipped with everything needed to relax and enjoy a long weekend with the family. Communications with the property management team could not have been better as even a very minor need was resolved within minutes! We will return to this property!

You cannot get a better location. Right on the beach with very few neighbors. The house was all we needed but there were a few things lacking. The front door was plywood (didn’t make a difference to us but would have been nice to know), there was no gas grill and the Keurig didn’t work. All these things are minor inconveniences and we still had a great time! I would definitely book this house again, strictly for the location. Bald Head Island is great!!

We stayed here for my wedding on BHI and it was exactly what we needed! It was perfectly located just 2 streets down from our family's house and the back porch is really the selling factor! lots of seating and space to hang out all together. It was also nicely located to everything we needed. We are familiar with the island but the managers communicated great and gave us plenty of information prior to the trip so if we weren't familiar we would have felt great about it!

Home is a great old beach cottage. Very clean with awesome deck space. The golf carts are well maintained and the management company makes you feel at home with their hospitality and ease of check in. Ibwould highly recomend this place if younwant a peaceful beach getaway.

The house location was perfect for our stay for our daughter’s wedding. It was centrally located for all of our events and beachfront access was wonderful! The fact that we had absolutely beautiful weather for the entire weekend made our stay even more enjoyable. Here are a few things that stood out about the property. 1) it’s dated and in need of updates/ repairs. The weather stripping around windows and doors are deteriorating and need repair. 2) the beachside windows should have some type of shades/blinds installed. The sun coming through the window blinds you when you’re inside the kitchen/living room/ dining area. 3) lack of cloth dish towels in kitchen and pot holders need to be replaced. Pans were left dirty by prior renters. 4) all door hinges need to be lubricated. They all creak loudly when opening/shutting 5) clean bathroom shower stalls better. Lots of mold/mildew accumulated in corners. 6) coffee table in living room was rickety. While the 4 master bedroom with baths plus the bunk room accommodates a large family, the acoustics of the cathedral ceiling in the main common living area make every noise heard inside the bedrooms; even with doors closed. Not great for light sleepers. When one is up, you’re all up; even if you try to be quite. Bedrooms and bathrooms very small with very small closet space. All that said, it is a basic beach house as described in the listing with a fantastic location thatcan accommodate large groups.

For those that have "history" on Bald head Island, you will find this home gets 2 very high marks. 1. Location! 2. it has 3 golf carts. Beyond that, I was VERY disappointed. The bedrooms are very small. The floor in the kitchen is coming up. There are several appliances that do not work. There is NO STORAGE , and very few kitchen amenities. Thank heavens for a large deck, which allowed some space for all of us to gather, as there is no room inside the house. I will not consider this rental again.

Can't beat the location and views. Only thing negative where the beds because they were very uncomfortable since they were older style spring mattresses. If your not sharing the bed with a spouse, it would probably not be a big deal but any movement will wake any light sleeper. Also, a 6 person cart would be a great upgrade to avoid having to take 2 carts everywhere depending on your party size.

Our overall trip was a great time. The house and property are truly in one of the best locations on the beach. The house fit our needs perfectly as we were there for a wedding and all got to stay together under one roof. The private beach access and deck view made the weekend. Due to the drastic change in temperature, when we got there one of the golf tires had a flat tire. We went to go find somewhere to air it up and the tire blew out on us. We left it where the incident occured and let the owners know. They sent someone to fix the golf cart and returned it to us within the hour. We will definintely be back!

Where to begin. The photos did not do the property and location justice. There were ample beach chairs, boogie boards, bicycles, toys, etc etc etc. Our only neighbors were pelicans and sand crabs. Trip of a lifetime thanks again

This place provided beautiful views and a fun filled trip with a close proximity not only to the beach but to the BHI club. The grocery store is just a short cart ride away and no matter where you go it was beautiful. My only complaint would be that we would find nails throughout the downstairs porch area(probably from the new deck). Several were in the sand under the swing set area. But that’s an easy clean up with a magnetic sweeper. Overall a wonderful stay!

This property is 5 bedrooms, 5 baths. The bunk room is a small bedroom with a Jack and Jill bath that is available to the living room. The rooms were all clean; the 4 star rating is for attention to details. The dishwasher was moldy and required us to bleach the interior. We did call ITrip and they were responsive; somebody came to look at it and ran a 5 hour clean cycle, but that did not resolve the problem. There are rusty latches on outside doors. The propane grill is old, but functions. There is no functioning outdoor kitchen on the upper deck. Proximity to BHI club is fantastic and the private beach access is great. The upper deck had recently been replaced and there were many old nails and screws left in the sand area below the deck. Also, the decking company left some railing trim boards hanging or missing. The downstairs playroom was great; bring tools to ensure the fussball table legs are stable. We had 6 adults and 6 children ranging in age from 2 to 7, and really enjoyed our stay. The three golf carts allowed us access to all areas of the island. We had an issue with one of the cart batteries and ITrip (again, responsive) had one of the cart companies come look at it. The ice maker and the additional refrigerator were fabulous amenities.
