Our family of four had an absolutely perfect stay at Fish N Chips cottage over the Thanksgiving holiday. Everything about the home was spotless, comfortable, and exactly as described. The location was wonderful, and the cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing family trip.The host was incredibly responsive and helpful with any questions we had, which made the entire experience even better. We truly couldn’t have asked for a smoother or more enjoyable stay.We would 100% stay here again and highly recommend Fish N Chips to anyone visiting Bald Head Island!

Great place

This was our 2nd trip to Bald Head. The island is beautiful, it has enough outside of the ocean to keep the kids entertained, and the beaches are beautiful. We really liked staying near East Beach where the kids surfed daily. The house was perfectly kept and came exactly as advertised. I recommend it highly.

Great Stay first time at BHI

This house was well appointed and very comfortable home in a great location. Also the manager was kind enough to send me lots of details to plan out our trip as this was the first time visit for us!

May BHI Vacation Week.

Our family and friends truly had a wonderful week on BHI staying at Fish N' Chips. Chrissie and family have provided the perfect setting to enjoy BHI's beauty. We have been to BHI approximately 8 times and #4 Sumner's Crescent is one of our favorite locations. We look forward to our next trip!

2 week getaway to Cape Fear Station

First time staying at cape fear station neighborhood on BHI. We loved it. Clean, cozy, well decorated. Great and well-maintained amenities. Bikes, paddleboard, surf board, plenty of beach chairs. Nice home away from home.

Phenomenal Stay!

We were thrilled with the time spent at Fish and Chips. The house was perfect for our crew of 8. The location was PERFECT for those wanting to spend their time at East Beach. Communication with the owner was stellar from the start! Thanks for a great vacation stay!

Great for a family vacation!

The home is charming, clean and updated - a nice spacious kitchen with all the necessities and is comfortable for sleeping - owner is wonderful with communication and helpful with any needs that you may require.

Perfect BHI home

We had a great stay at Fish N Chips. I especially loved all the linens and comfortable furniture. The house was perfectly stocked with everything we needed. Loved having the laundry room just off the entry. The cottage was perfect also. Chrissy was easy to work with. Loved the location too.

Comfortable New and Walk to Beach

Would strongly recommend a stay here for anyone gathering at bald head island. Three big nice rooms. Even a small bunk room. Kitchen was well appointed, showers worked great, AC was strong!

Wonderful stay!

We loved our stay at Fish ‘n chips! Our family had a lovely time exploring BHI from the great location near the Shoals Club, South Beach, and the BHI Conservancy. The home was bright, clean, and had everything we needed - and then some. Thank you for a perfect week!

Beautiful property

My family and I very much enjoyed our stay at Fish n Chips! The property is beautiful! Modern and clean with every convenience. It was our first time staying at that end of the island and we loved how close it was to shopping and restaurants. The guest cottage was very well appointed and we also loved having an outdoor shower. I would highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay at Fish'n Chips. We love this location on the island. The house itself was excellent: very clean, comfortable bed and high quality sheets. Chrissie was very responsive. They had everything we needed--bikes, beach chairs, etc.

Lovely home, fabulous location!

We loved our stay at Fish n Chips for spring break. The home was clean, updated and extremely well organized. We felt like we were in a treehouse eating meals upstairs and enjoyed the outdoor area and grill for appetizers. We lucked out with beautiful weather and it was an easy golf cart ride to East Beach and Shoals Club where we spent lots of time as well. Thank you for a wonderful stay at your home!

Absolutely perfect! You will want to visit this island it is beautiful and property was exactly as pictured. Host was very responsive and had excellent communication throughout the whole process starting with the booking. 10/10 would recommend. We will be back!

Amazing stay in great location

What a great little cottage for families! We loved our stay here and the owner is fantastic and super communicative. The golf cart is fast (not always common with rentals) and there was plenty of kitchen goods to cook most meals here. Very close to East Beach accesses and tucked away in nature. I would suggest bringing a fan for the crofter as the unit stays fairly warm. We had a great stay!

Fun for the whole family

Bald Head is a truly special place and this house is a great place to enjoy all the peace, tranquility and ocean breezes the island has to offer. It was a great layout for our group the teens were able to spend time on their own in the crofter and the suite downstairs and venture upstairs for shared family meals, game night and dessert. The owners were very responsive when we had any questions and really went above and beyond to make sure we had enough beach towels and to help us with the house bikes. Truly one of the best vacations we have ever taken.

Wonderful New Year Escape

The home was absolutely a perfect escape to ring in the New Year. Nicely renovated inside with large living spaces and bedrooms perfect for a family or a group of friends. Check in process was so easy and the location just a few minutes from the Shoals Club and the market/shop area. The house was just as described along with everything in it comfortable and super clean. The host, Chrissie, could not have been more attentive during the whole process. Thank you, Chrissie, for your hospitality!

GREAT house!

We stayed for 4 nights in April with our family (3 kids ages 6 and under). This is a great house!! The property manager is delightful, easy to work with, and super helpful. We loved the location in Cape Fear and proximity to our favorite beach access points on East Beach and South Beach. The golf cart was clean and had zero issues (this was a first of any of our rental homes;). The kitchen and home supplies were well-stocked and nicely labeled. Everything worked great and the space is beautiful! We highly recommend this lovely home.
