    117 West Bald Head is a charming, well appointed home with great golf course views of the 7th fairway. It is tucked and secluded in the maritime forest. You feel like you are in your own private retreat off the beaten path! There are 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, completed updated kitchen and large screen porch over looking the great views of the golf course. The king master suite is on the first floor with great views and attached bathroom with a lot of closet space. The other 2 bedrooms share a bath one has a queen and the other a full size bed. Each room has access to a balcony overlooking the forest views. There is a queen bedroom upstairs perfect for some quiet time with it's own private balcony & bath to enjoy sunshine! Please Note that the tram cannot go down the driveway and it will require some walking to pick up golf cart.

Anniversary Getaway

Wonderful place to stay at Bald Head. Conveniently located, clean, and peaceful. This was our second stay at Peaceful Haven and will definitely not be our last.

Hidden Gem

Very seldom can you go to a cool place and have privacy. That is what we really liked. Centrally located, yet privacy galore. Highly recommene.

Just what we needed! Peace and Quiet

Wonderful family vacation had by all. Beautiful property nestled in the woods but close to everything! The natural beauty was everywhere. We saw all sorts of wild life from the back porch. The house is lovely and the kitchen was modern and well equipped. Our family can’t wait to go back to “the house in the jungle”, as the kids put it!

Privacy and wildlife

A beautiful home offering lots of privacy. Perfect for a family with its second living area upstairs. Not as ideal for multiple adults due to the very small size of the second bathroom and it’s location across the living area from the bedroom. But very nice master and bath. Our favorite place was the spacious screened porch where we watched the deer and a bald eagle on its perch on the fairway.

This property is truly off the beaten path on the island. The driveway is a fun excursion through a maritime forest. You have complete privacy here, which is unique. The AC worked super well all week (it was very hot and humid), the WiFi was perfect. The tram drops you at the curb so you’ll need to be prepared to walk down the winding driveway to fetch the golf cart to take your bags to the house (no big deal). The renovated property is gorgeous and maintenance was super responsive to our few needs during our stay. Highly recommend!

Always a good time at BHI!

The house was clean and full of everything we needed. Having two golf carts at our disposal was a definite perk. The management company was easy to communicate with and very friendly. We love to visit BHI and are already looking forward to our next visit!

Neat Hideaway

Unlike the other properties, this is tucked away on a long gravel driveway with views on golf course. Beautiful home with large screened in porches. The 2nd floor has a porch to sit outside in the sun. Great house.

Pleasant Haven was perfect house for our girls get-away

The house is beautiful, comfortable, well appointed. Great location. So many lovely touches throughout the house. The upstairs sun-room was so peaceful.

Nice Stay. Some Suggestions

It's a nice property with lots of privacy. Nice three bedrooms. The master bedroom is good size and comfortable. The other two bedrooms are much smaller. Great linens and there is lots of space to have both family time and quiet time in the well appointed home. Some observations and feedback: 1) House did not have a can opener. Opening a can is certainly challenging. 2) Both carts needed to be charged at all times when parked. Battery on the green cart does not last long so you need to be very careful not to go too far or or watch out for the gauge. The white cart had problem going between reverse and drive, it would go into neutral and the cart would not move. It required repeated on/off of the cart before it gets going.. This one was really not reliable so used the green one mostly. 3) Cleaning can be better. The house looks clean but when I wiped the kitchen floor with paper towel when there was water that splashed from the sink, the paper towel was really dirty. One of the front bedrooms had sand on the floor so don't know if it was fully cleaned before our stay.

Nice Property!

Our stay was very nice. The kitchen had plenty of room to cook, and the back deck was great for sitting out and enjoying the quiet nature of this property. One of the golf carts had terrible steering, but aside from that, our stay was enjoyable and relaxing.

Perfect house in perfect location

This house is the best-located house on Bald Head. You are hidden away from any other houses in private woods near the golf course. House is newly remodeled and feels like a brand new house.

Property in general

House was very nice. Me and my family very much so enjoyed it. Only problem was the golf cart need to be maintained better. One has very bad steering the other has no parking brake. Over all good experience. Fix the golf carts please.

Great space, could use a little TLC

Beautiful setting, great kitchen and nice space for several families or couples. Favorite spot was the screened in porch for both morning and evening. Only downsides: hadn't been cleaned well, a kitchen chair was broken, and the equipment in the kitchen was lacking and very disorganized. Small things, but if addressed would have garnered 5+ stars.

This house was in a great location to the beach, store and marina. Peaceful haven was perfectly decorated and safe for kiddos. We hope to come back soon!
