Lovely part of Bald Head Island where this house is located and close to the Shoals Club for a guest membership. The owners have thought of everything and are so very responsive. Perfect house for a large group to enjoy- kitchen and accommodations are well stocked. Recommend for your next stay at BHI

The owners, Annemarie and John, have taken the vacation home rental experience to a new level. Everything about our week in this property is a testament to their construction planning, decoration, furnishings, stocking of supplies, and their hands on management of our experience. Perfect location near the beach and Shoals Club. Wonderful setting and atmosphere for a family gathering!

The Gang Trip to BHi

Friends Getaway

Second time staying in one of the two homes hosted by the owners. Stayed at the larger/newer home this time. Lots of ammenities, lots of porches/decks to use and a fully supplied kitchen. Each bedroom had a bathroom with a shower. Close to the water and we had the use of 4 new golf carts. Great stay for all of us.

Wonderful Thanksgiving

We recently had the pleasure of spending our Thanksgiving holiday on Bald Head Island, and our stay at the Vrbo property was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charm and beauty of the island, and our accommodation played a significant role in making our vacation truly memorable. The house was not only spacious and well-appointed but also impeccably clean, making us feel right at home. The open layout of the living area allowed our family to gather comfortably. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving feast, and we appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the space feel welcoming. One of the highlights of the property was the outdoor space. The deck provided a perfect spot for enjoying our morning coffee while taking in the serene surroundings. We also took advantage of the grill which we used to make our turkey. The bedrooms were cozy and well-designed, ensuring a restful night's sleep for everyone. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings did not go unnoticed, and we appreciated the effort put into creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

BHI wedding

Our stay at A Shore thing was amazing! The house was perfect for our large family. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom. The house was beautiful and very clean. John and Annmarie were great hosts and very responsive. We definitely would book this house again if we make it back to Bald Head Island.

BHI Family Vacation

A Shore Thing Too is a beautiful property and easily accommodated our crew of 21. Two washer/dryers made for quick easy laundry and the 4 golf carts allow all freedom to move around as needed. The kitchen is well stocked and set to cook for a crowd. The 48" side by side met out refrigeration needs.The location is easy access to Shoal's Club and the beach and other island amenities such as grocery, shopping and turtle station. Annemarie and John are quick and attentive host and communicate all needed information concerning travel and the house is great detail. We rented another one of their properties 8 years ago, "A Shore Thing" and had a similar experience.

Perfect Getaway!

Seven couples reunited for a well overdue reunion and everything was perfect. Everyone had privacy when we wanted and plenty of space to gather as a group. Property hosts, Annemarie and John, are the best. They answer questions promptly and didn't miss a beat when it came to decorating/equipping the property. Location is the best! Just a few minutes to walk to the beach or Shoal's Club, which is where we spent most of our time. Sunrise walks are well worth it! The island is amazing. Birding, nature, kayaking, and so much more. And sunsets at beach access #5 are phenomenal! I highly recommend the island and this home! AMAZING!

Perfect house for our large group

The house was exactly as described and perfectly suited our needs. Super clean and super comfortable. Great communication by the hosts. The Crofter in the back was especially great for extra quiet and privacy. The kitchen was incredibly stocked with every appliance needed to cook for a large group. Almost no detail was overlooked. One suggestion— a cocktail shaker and extra large pitcher would have been great.

Amazing home for wedding weekend!

My immediate family stayed from Wednesday through Monday the week of my wedding and this property was perfect! We had other family staying at A Shore Thing, which was conveniently located behind A Shore Thing Too. The home is beautiful, has an open floorplan, beautiful rooms, and spectacular porches. John and Annmarie were exceptionally accommodating when it came to getting wedding supplies to the house before bad weather came in. Highly recommend this house, especially to those coming down for a wedding weekend!

July 2022 at BHI

My family stayed at a Shore Thing Too in July 2022. We really enjoyed the beautiful home. It was a three generation vacation with four households represented. We loved the kitchen (perfectly stocked) and family room area especially for organizing our day, playing games and jus spending time together. And the wonderful house wasn't the best part. The owners went out of their way to help us both before we arrived the during our stay. We had a few special requests that they responded to immediately. I highly recommend this property and the owners. An Ohio Family

Beautiful, Clean Property

This house was perfect for our large group of friends coming to BHI for a wedding! Everything was brand new, organized, and clean! The owners were super easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make sure that everything went well for us. Would highly recommend this house for families or large groups of friends, as well.
