Wonderful location and great bedroom/bathroom setup for a family. The kitchen was extremely well stocked for cooking and grilling . The beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes were all in excellent condition. The owners were very communicative. We loved our stay!

Beautiful Location!

My family had a wonderful stay at the Three Mermaids! You cannot beat this location on Bald Head Island. The views are incredible and you are just steps from the beach. The owners were extremely communicative. Would definitely stay here again.

Great house and location!

We stayed for 2 weeks with our children and 2 golden retrievers. Everyone (most of all the dogs) loved the direct, easy access to the beach. The property owner was quick and responsive with all questions and concerns.

Great place to spend a week at Baldhead

We had a great visit at Baldhead. This is our 10th year staying and this property was wonderful. Plenty of room for our family of five plus our dog. Easy access to beach. Great location.

Amazing property!

This property is in a great location and was incredibly maintained! I would totally stay there again, just want to note that there are a lot of steps which are very steep (as there are in many beach houses) in case you are traveling with anyone with mobility issues (as we sometimes do).

Beautiful Home - superb location

This was our first time on BHI, and we were traveling with a large group of friends -all of whom got houses at various points across the island. Our location excellent! So close to the Shoals Club, and a fair distance from the market, BHI Club, etc. It was nice not to be near the hubbub of the marina. The house was extremely clean - and the porches, w/ their views of the ocean, were just fabulous. We had a few interactions w/ David, the owner, and he was extremely helpful - even giving suggestions on things to do on the island, and sending us the local newsletter for the week of our trip. The keys can be a little tricky getting in/out, likely because of the sea air/salt, FYI. A great home & a lovely vacation!

Great Thanksgiving week!

Really enjoyed the getaway to Bald Head and this house was great for six adults and our pups. Very short walk to the beach with great views from the house. A great layout with a nice open floor plan. Nice six passenger golf cart made getting around the island a breeze! A+

Great vacation!

Our family totally enjoyed our stay. The house was in a wonderful location with easy beach access, and was very well furnished. We were able to relax and escape from our busy lives and reconnect with family. Thank you for providing a great rental experience!

Enjoyed it!

Thanks so much for a fun week. We enjoyed the location, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we had plenty of room for our family of five + pooch. The beach was close and wide open this time of year. We would definitely recommend.

Wonderful location

We have been coming to BHI since 1997 this is one of the best properties we have rented. Location for beach is fantastic the house is so well stocked. The bikes were such a treat and so well maintained. The only thing lacking I couldn’t find any of my alligators this week! The pitches were so wonderful wish I could stay all month

Wonderful Life, Wonderful Stay

This house made it easy to have a wonderful vacation. They have a all the extras you may want in the kitchen, a nice kitchen table, well appointed bedrooms, and nice porches. Highly recommend!!

Great House

Our family of five and dog had a great one week stay at this lovely house. The property was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The set-up of this property has a shared boardwalk with about five other cottages for a very quick walk down to the beach. The location at beach access 31 was great and we were a short golf cart ride to the market and light house. The owner was very responsive and helpful as we made arrangements (book those tram reservations sooner than later). We had an issue with the internet and after I emailed the owner, he immediately called Spectrum and the problem was quickly resolved . We enjoyed our stay here very much.
