Ocean View at Villa 44

Nicely stocked attractive Villa. Loved having a panoramic view of the water. We had great weather and went to the pool and beach everyday. So fun to be able to walk or ride bikes to BHIClub. Kitchen space is tight but everything else was great.

This property has a great location, is very clean, and we overall very much enjoyed our stay. We appreciated the good wifi and plentiful places to charge devices. I wish the bikes at the property were in better condition, they were essentially almost rusted through and my husband had to fix the chain on one of them after it came off while we were biking around a bit. We had an issue that one of the carts wasn’t charging correctly that was resolved quickly once we called, but we didn’t figure this out until after the cart almost didn’t get back to the house the first day. I also wish for the price a few more rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags were provided, seems like it would be an easy run to Costco for the management and would make it easier for visitors. I don’t think we would return with a group that needed to use all three bedrooms, as the upstairs bedroom is essentially open to the only common space in the house, the kitchen and living room, so any noise whatsoever is easily heard by the folks trying to sleep in that room. It makes it essentially unusable as a third bedroom. It’s also awkward that the people in that bedroom have to come downstairs and shower. But, overall, a lovely house and we had a great time during our visit!

Just need a little down time to relax without the hustle and bustle. Rode bikes and rode carts around the whole island which was beautiful. Beach was big with no one on it which was great.. Just a little bit of paradise. The house was clean and everything you need was there. TThe views

Best BHI Villa!

We’ve been coming to BHI for over 30 years and have stayed all over the island. We decided to try a villa again like we did in 1990 and it didn’t disappoint! This is a very comfortable, clean villa and a prime location. The communication with the property manager was easy and they always responded quickly and attentively. If we choose a villa again, we will request this one!

Lovely home. Great location and view of ocean.

Home was well updated and clean. Furniture was comfortable and enough seating for the four of us. LInens were good quality. Appreciated not having to strip beds and gather up towels for laundering before leaving. Very stress free stay.

Steps from the Ocean

We stayed in this property for my Nephews wedding in mid November. The house was clean and neat. We enjoyed the comfy living room with the sun streaming in the wall of windows. A few steps out the door and you’re in the boardwalk to the dunes and beach. Even though it was November we enjoyed several walks on the beach, siting dolphins several times.

August on BHI

We had a great week in this awesome villa on BHI. It’s our first time staying in the villas in 15 years of vacationing on BHI. Villa 44 was in great shape and you can’t beat the location. Having early morning coffee or late afternoon drink on the deck overlooking the ocean can’t be beat. Tyler was awesome as a host. 5 stars.

Perfect family getaway

Wow, this beautiful villa is completely updated with all the amenities needed for a cozy family vacation. The view is unbeatable for watching the sun go down with a glass of wine. My family of five didn’t want to leave! The villa comes equipped with all you need for the beach including chairs, towels, toys, boogie boards, umbrella Barbara and Tyler were wonderful and responsive hosts who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Three Mermaids is the perfect home away from home at BHI!

South Shore Villa June

This villa has a great layout and decor that makes it feel bigger than it is. I got a chance to see a few other villas and this layout and decor is far superior. Other places may have nicer or newer stuff, but not put together like this. It is cozy and spacious. The windows provide a panoramic view of the Ocean. Checkin was effortless. The management company was very responsive to a small issue that occurred (tire dry rot - it happens). They quickly got the tire replaced and we were on our way. The kitchen is cramped, but workable. All the things you need are present including spices.

Excellent Stay!

Six adults, all enjoyed the amenities, had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay at BHI. Great views, short distance to the beach, observed the lagoon alligator, enjoyed traveling via golf carts to all BHI locations - stores, restaurants, shops Old Baldy, etc. A great getaway for all of us. After experiencing very minor problems, very impressed with Tyler's (Property Management) quick response and attention to detail in resolving them! We had a great experience and will return!

Great location !

I’ve stayed many times at bhi but this was the first time in a villa. We loved the location and out favorite part was being able to see the ocean from kitchen, living and master. The upstairs deck is awesome bc you can see the waves breaking. It’s decorated very cute and beachy. Barbara and Tyler were great. Tyler helped us get in early since we were already on the island and moving houses. Everything was in working order and we loved sitting in the rocking chairs. Thanks for taking good care of us !
