Oasis in the Palms

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Thatcher’s Landing and Tyler was excellent at meeting any needs we had around the property. The screened porch was a dream and the kitchen was well stocked! Everything was well designed, clean, and functional. Thank you for a special stay!

Wonderful Time

We really enjoyed staying at Thatchers Landing. The house is very clean and well stocked. Tyler and Barbara were very responsive to any questions we had and just lovely to talk to. The house is cozy and our adult kids loved the upstairs area while my elderly father was very comfortable in a separate room with an en-suite bathroom. A wonderful multigenerational home. The location between the beach and market … can’t be beat!

It was the best chill vacation we’ve had for a long time. Even saw a whale!

Great family weekend

We had a great time with our extended family getaway. The house and bedrooms were perfect for our needs, and we appreciated the accommodations for our pets as well! Tyler was very helpful with our questions as we prepared for our stay. The house had a great screened porch, and we loved the golf carts (especially the newer one)! During our long weekend we saw the star-link satellite launch, deer, dolphins and even sharks feeding offshore. We can’t wait until next time!

Great property. Tyler was super responsive throughout our stay and was really great and responded qiuckly. Super helpful to get us more materials for our golf cart when it was raining from a nor'easter on the weekend. Rooms were great and beds were comfortable. Amazing screened in porch space. Would def stay 10/10.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved Thatcher's Landing! The house has a wonderful layout that makes it feel spacious, yet cozy. It functions really well for a family and the location is great for easy access to sunsets on south beach, the market and restaurants near by, but it's not too far to east beach as well. We loved the location in the forest. The highlight is the screened porch but overall we enjoyed many things about the house and will absolutely be back. We always love working with Tyler and Barbara... they are top notch and really make you feel like a priority when you rent from them

House was even better than the pictures. Location was very central on the island and being in the maritime forest was great for sitting on the porch. Tyler and Barbara from Homes on Bald Head Island were extremely helpful and quick to respond to questions before and during our stay. We definitely hope to come back!
