10 stars if I could! I highly recommend you get Out of Office at this beautiful home. Thank you for the comfortable mattresses and all the beach gear. The grill was fabulous . I loved the location, too! I truly hope to rent this place again. It was a perfect home for our family and our pup. Great communication and support from the host.

Beautiful house with a lovely back porch and swing! Everything you need is there. Just a heads up the fire pit was removed due to no burn policy and they are pet friendly with a 300 fee. Great relaxing vacay, would definitely come again!

Perfect family vacation!

We love Bald Head Island for many reasons and this house met all of our needs. We loved the location, the fact that it had 3 golf carts, the kids bunk bed and trundle room, 2 king size beds, bikes, toys, and the nice screened in porch! We come back every year and we’re % pleased with this property!

Incredible for families!

Loved our stay at “Out of Office” in June. It was a perfect spot for families. If you are traveling with toddlers or babies, book this spot and take some of your stress off! So many amazing kid supplies. Best of all, the host Taylor has top notch hospitality! We were scoping out our next stay on the island one day and my husband said “but we can’t book somewhere without Taylor’s hospitality!” Seriously, the perfect get away!

Great stay!

We booked this home and had a great stay. There were 7 of us and plenty of room. The kids loved the games, the grandparents loved the puzzles, and the screened in porch was perfect! We utilized the golf carts to explore the island and mainly ate our dinners in the home with plenty of space and everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms excellent. Would stay here again. Thank you to a great host that was very prompt with questions leading up to the visit!

Annual Family Vacation to BHI

we have had our family vacation at BHI for 12 years now, this home was absolutely amazing. Perfect location and setup for a large family. We loved our stay and would love to visit again, Thank you for making our family feel at home.

We had an amazing stay at this VRBO! The house was in the perfect location, spotless, and stocked with everything we could possibly need and more. With 4 adults and 4 children, there was plenty of space, and the sleeping arrangements were very comfortable for everyone. The host was so kind and responded to our questions promptly, both before and during our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back! If you have kids and are traveling to the island, this is the place to stay!!

Everything You Need

This beautiful home was the site of our summer vacation, and it was everything we wanted and more. The house is perfectly appointed. Seriously, we've never stayed in a house that had everything you can think of. This one did! The floorplan worked more than well for our party of six, and the view from the back porch can't be beat. Beautiful home in a peaceful setting

We had a wonderful time. There were a couple minor issues in the beginning but the property owner was very quick and gracious to correct them and make our stay really special. The home is lovely with very nice furnishings. The beds were very comfortable with very nice linens. The location was very convenient to the island amenities. Plenty of golf carts for our use and a nice grill! The kitchen was well stocked and great for our family gatherings. It was a lovely and comfortable vacation! 2

Magical Escape

We can’t say enough good things about our wonderful experience at Gigi’s Place. The location is private, quiet, and beautiful. The house is spacious and very comfortable. We particularly appreciated how each room was well-appointed and stocked, especially the kitchen—which we cooked in every day, both adults and kids. Little things like updated laundry appliances and high-end mattresses/sheets go a long way towards making guests feel very welcome and comfortable. Lou is an attentive and appreciative homeowner who made sure that we were comfortable with the level of cleanliness and care (during COVID) and she even offered to help us manage through a storm and island-wide power outage. Having two carts is a great bonus—especially one larger one for when our 2-family crew headed to the beach with chairs and gear everyday. BHI is a special destination and Gigi’s Place is a perfect place to stay and enjoy everything the island has to offer.

Stay here!

We had an amazing stay. It was our second time on baldhead and our friend’s 5th and we can only rave about Lou and the house. She went out of her way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The home was clean and neat and had anything you may need for kids of any age. She has everything at the house so we didn’t have to lug our own beach towels or filtered water or toys for the kids. Thanks so much Lou! Hope to stay with you again in the future.

Great family getaway

Gigi’s Place was fully stocked as promised and we found the home to be a great escape with upscale finishes that made it extra comfortable. Loved the back porch, the grills and two golf carts came in very handy and Lou was a super responsive owner. T-shirts were an extra treat. Highly recommend!

Gigi’s Place

From reservation to departure everything was top notch. We’ve been going to BHI for years, and this was by far the cleanest and most well equipped house we’ve stayed in. The owner was awesome. Extremely friendly, available and responsive. We typically stay on the marsh or ocean, but this location was equally fantastic. Having a central location was nice and made it quick to get where we wanted to go. Everyone had a great time!

Gigi’s Heaven

This was a quick stay for myself and a few friends. We were all blown away by the island! Talk about paradise! The house was immaculate! The beds were comfortable, the home was warm and welcoming! The host had a forgotten box with toothbrushes and other toiletries as well as sunscreen and first aid kits! The home had every kitchen device you could imagine from insta pots to crock pots to blenders! You won’t need to bring anything! Gigi’s is hidden off the road and on a secluded wooded lot. I felt so at peace on this home! My family will be booking this home again in the future! Thank you to the amazing hosts for allowing us to stay in such a magnificent home!

Second time staying was better than first!

We stayed at Gigi’s Place last summer and had a blast. The changes they have made are great and only enhanced our stay this year. The owner, Lou met us at the ferry with a great beach (Swag) bag with lots of information about the island, a scavenger hunt that we loved completing, and some other great things that she wanted us to keep as a surprise for future guests. The listing on VRBO says the kitchen is well appointed, that’s an understatement. There were spices, and other stables that saved us having to pack or buy and I can’t imagine anything I would need that wasn’t provided. I think the Keurig and insta-pot are new and came in very handy, this trip. Prior to our stay this time we received a lot of detailed information and tips for planning, packing and traveling to the island. We have been coming to BHI for the last 15 years and can’t imagine staying anywhere else. Gigi’s Place is located minutes from the beach, the BHI club, the market and the harbor, which made it convenient for our friends and guests. I don’t usually sleep well when traveling but love the new mattresses and linens at Gigi’s Place, they are very comfortable. We used the kayaks and the boys attempted to use the surf boards; it was great for these to be provided instead of us having to rent them. Bald Head Island is a great vacation spot and we certainly recommend Gigi’s Place to everyone.
