  • Stay at Callahan Divine, a restored historic loft in the heart of downtown Baird, Texas. This distinctive three-bedroom apartment sleeps up to six guests and combines historic character with modern comforts.

The sleeping arrangements include two king beds and one queen bed. The loft also features an open living area, full kitchen, dining space, dedicated workspace, 1-gigabit Wi-Fi, four large smart TVs, air conditioning and heating, free parking, and pet-friendly accommodations. The 13-foot ceilings and original architectural character give the space a memorable feel.

The downtown location puts guests close to Baird's local restaurants and the train depot museum, while the Abilene area is within easy driving distance. Callahan Divine is a strong fit for families, groups, business travelers, event guests, and visitors who want more space than a typical hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everything was on-point. Unit was clean, furniture was not stained or worn, beds were clean and comfortable, A/C was nice and cool, amenities were more than sufficient and communication was excellent! From booking to check-out there were no breakdowns or disappointments. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

This is such a fun place to stay! It is a hidden gem of luxury in a restored old building in a sleepy little town. The host was kind, and the home was well-appointed, making for a very comfortable stay.

Great host! He was very responsive and had more than enough accommodations for our stay. I would definitely stay here again. Clean house, comfortable bed and cozy just as if I was home.

Wish we could leave more than 5stars. This place and owner deserve 10We had an incredible stay! Anthony was an outstanding host from start to finish. His communication was excellent, he was always quick to respond, and he went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.The house itself was absolutely amazing—beautifully restored, spotless, comfortable, and full of character. One of our favorite parts was learning about the history of the home. It’s clear that so much care and attention has gone into preserving its unique story while still offering all the modern comforts.If you’re looking for a place that’s not only beautiful but also has a rich history and an owner who truly cares about his guests, this is it. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend staying here!

We were very happy with this VRBO. Everything was very clean. It was even roomier than we expected from the photos. The decor was charming and the furniture was very comfortable. There were lots of extra touches that we really appreciated, such as coffee and coffee filters, bottled water in the fridge, various toiletries in the bathroom, and even a makeup mirror. The hosts obviously give a lot of thought to making their guests feel at home. We were also happy to discover that there is a very good local restaurant just a short walk down the block. This VRBO is a very relaxing and comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights, or much longer. If we're in the area, we would definitely stay here again.
