Wild Cedars - Cana Island - Lake Michigan - Amazing new home

  • Nueva casa en el lago Michigan ubicada en un bosque de cedros con excelentes vistas de la isla de Cana desde la orilla.

    Ubicado en un hermoso lote arbolado, esta casa única de 2,026 pies cuadrados te hará sentir bienvenido. Con cubiertas cubiertas, porche con pantalla, chimenea de piedra de leña natural con asientos hundidos, y detalles de cedro natural con encanto rústico y elegancia.

    Dos habitaciones: una en la planta baja con cama queen y terraza privada con vista al lago Michigan. El segundo piso de arriba con una cama king size. El dormitorio del primer piso se abre a una terraza privada con excelentes vistas del lago Michigan.

    La gran sala tiene enormes ventanales que dan al lago y una puerta panorámica que conduce desde la gran sala a la cubierta de la pantalla cubierta. Un muy cómodo sofá cama king size y sillones se encuentran en la gran sala para aprovechar la vista y disfrutar de la TV y el reproductor de BluRay. También hay una mesa de juego en esta sala, una variedad de juegos de mesa, películas y libros están disponibles para su uso. La gran sala también tiene una chimenea de leña con zona de estar hundida.

    Con vistas a la gran sala hay un loft con un sofá cama de tamaño completo y asientos mirando por las ventanas frontales al lago. Gran lugar para sentarse, relajarse y leer un libro.

    Fuera de la gran sala hay un comedor con mesa con capacidad para 8. El comedor también se abre a la zona cubierta cubierta.

    La cocina está totalmente equipada: refrigerador / congelador con máquina de hielo, estufa a gas y horno eléctrico, microondas y lavavajillas. Se proporcionan cafetera y otros pequeños electrodomésticos comunes. El gabinete está provisto de artículos básicos típicos para su uso.

    Hay dos baños: el baño del primer piso tiene una bañera / ducha y el baño de arriba una ducha. Se proporcionan toallas y paños, así como champú y jabón de viaje.

Property is clean & well-maintained, easy check-in and the kitchen well-equipped for cooking. Plenty of wood for relaxing by the firepit and chairs available for sitting near the lake.

This is the second time we have stayed at Amy and Steve’s property, and we could not be more enthusiastic about this 5-star rating. The home is so well appointed and the property itself offers privacy, amazing water views, and is just stunning. One thing I appreciate about Steve and Amy is that you don’t have to bring your own anything— they provide what you need for comfort and a great stay and they use quality products— almost like a luxury hotel. The decor is gorgeous—- just a peaceful, wonderful stay. We love Wild Cedars.

Booking and check in process went smoothly. Wild Cedars is a lovely property! It's a quiet, wooded lot with a view of the lake through the trees and you can hear the waves with the windows open The house is spacious and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed plus some basics that were very much appreciated! The screened-in porch was a highlight - so comfortable in July. Definitely recommend and would book it again!

Our hosts were so accommodating! We had some issues that could have cancelled our stay but Steve gave us some options and everything worked out. the house and views were amazing- we loved the view of Cana lighthouse each evening. A great choice for a stay in Door Co.

Everything we needed and more for a long weekend. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking, there were plenty of board games and movies, and the home was more spacious than expected. The conversation pit, screen porch, and firepit steps from the lake were of course the highlights. We would absolutely stay again.

Great house and location right on lake Michigan. Short walk to water and short drive to Cana island lighthouse. Great screened in deck which I would have enjoyed but still too cold will definitely come back again in a summer month. Host was very responsive.

This home is a well located, nicely laid out and well appointed property. Particularly liked all of the artistic flourishes in the house and outdoors. Beach access was great, tons of venues to hang out with our faves being the fire place conversation pit and screened porch. We enjoyed paddling from the beach towards Cana Island and in Moonlight Bay. We scored big time with perfectly warm, sunny and calm weather which added to the experience. Everything was in order and was easy to locate and operate. There was nothing that we needed and couldn't find. The location is very close to Bailey's Harbor and really not too far from Sister Bay/Ephraim/Fish Creek/Ellis Bay. We had a great time and highly recommend this location for your next vacation.

The hosts have gone above and beyond to provide everything you need in this beautiful home/cabin! The kitchen is well stocked from aluminum foil to a cheese slicer, there is charcoal for the grill, laundry detergent for the washing machine, clean soap in the kitchen and bathrooms, even books to read on the shelf! We were there the week of June 19 and I’m glad we took throw blankets because it was chilly. We could’ve spent the whole week just around the cabin and had a great time, but there is plenty to do in the rest of the county. As soon as more people find out about this jewel, it’s going to be hard to book! That’s the only thing that makes me sad. They deserve to have it rented out all year though. Thank you for an excellent place to stay for an excellent vacation! We had an amazing time in Door County!
