Beautiful cottage, loved the view out the master bedroom window, bottle of wine was a nice touch! Overall, we loved this place and would absolutely stay again.Three things I need to mention considering the level of expectation at this price point in the off season: Quite a bit of driveway gravel on the floor throughout when we arrived (we always take our shoes off at the door so it was not us). Of the six clocks inside the cottage only one was accurate, five others we all set to comletely different random times. We reset three of them. And finally, the snow on the deck. This was the only true disappointment for us. I know there was a recent blizzard (we got 30 inches at home as well), but it was at least 10 days before we arrived and still wasn't cleared at all. When we arrived it was a 1-2 ft tall solid ice block. We were really looking forward to sitting out by the fireplace on the deck and brought steaks to grill. We were barely able to clear enough for two chairs around the fire before we gave up. Grill was inaccessible. By the time of our arrival it absolutley should have been cleared.
