We enjoyed our stay in Bailey's Harbor, and it was great to have ready access to some of our favorite places, like The Ridges and Door County Brewing Company! We also discovered some new favorites like the Cana Island Lighthouse. The home is beautiful and well-appointed, and there were many appreciated amenities, from coffee grounds and a portable speaker, to an EV charger for our truck and e-bikes to use. The hot tub was also great, and easy to use. These amenities were much appreciated, yet I cannot give the property 5 stars because the sleeping experience was very disappointing. The only window shades in the home are patterned sheers, including in both bedrooms. Because we were there over the solstice, the bedrooms were as bright as day before 6 am, which was frustrating when something I was looking forward to doing was sleeping in. I hope the owners add in blinds that block out a significant amount of light, as it was a surprising situation to encounter. Of note, there was also significant bubbling of the vinyl flooring a few steps in the front door, which created a tripping hazard.
