We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Jade House. It’s one of those rare places where the reality actually surpasses the pictures. From the moment we arrived, the views just stopped us in our tracks—sweeping ocean panoramas, layers of jungle, and sunsets that felt almost unreal.What Made the Stay Exceptional• The PoolsThe pools were the heart of the house for us. Each one had its own personality, and moving between them throughout the day became its own rhythm. Whether we were floating, cooling off, or just taking in the view from the edge, it was impossible not to relax.• The Pool TableInside, the pool table became the nightly gathering spot. It’s in the perfect location—open, social, and part of the flow of the house. We ended up spending more time there than expected, and it added a fun, easygoing energy to the evenings.• The KitchenThe kitchen is beautifully designed and surprisingly functional for a rental home. Plenty of space, great layout, and everything we needed to cook, snack, or just hang out with a drink while looking out at the water. It’s the kind of kitchen that makes you want to cook even on vacation.• The BedroomsEvery bedroom felt like its own retreat. Comfortable beds, thoughtful design, and those same incredible views that make waking up feel like a privilege. Everyone in our group commented on how well they slept.OverallThe Jade House gave us the perfect balance of comfort, beauty, and fun.

this place is nothing short of spectacular and pictures simply don’t do it justice. from the moment we arrived, we were awestruck with the incredible beautiful views! it was spacious for our extended family of 15! the beds were extremely comfortable and having a caretaker on sight was extremely helpful. (especially parking with the steep driveway). Carolina was so sweet and an extra special treat to have her housekeeping services available! this was truly a trip of a lifetime and i was more than happy to stay and enjoy the luxurious surroundings!

Best vacation ever

I’ve done a lot of traveling and stayed in many homes. The Jade House is by far the most incredible vacation and home I’ve experienced yet. We had 12 adults celebrating 2 milestone birthdays and we will remember this forever!The views, the pools, the sounds, the comfort- stellar! We watched whales, we had massages on the pool deck, naps on the hammocks, saw the most gorgeous sunsets and played billiards outdoors. It was something for everyone. Jonathan the host was impeccable and responsive to all our needs, not to mention setting us up with the very best experiences in Costa Rica too. 5 bedrooms with views and en-suite baths were amazing. The 6th room (2 twins- Tropics room converted to King bed) was extremely comfortable yet no views, and while not en suite, the bathroom had an open air, yet private shower that was gorgeous. I can’t say enough about everything this property has to offer- can’t wait to return to paradise one day!

Absolutely Amazing home

This home meets all your expectations and above. The home is so fully equipped with everything you need to cook and beyond. The towels are plentiful. The beds super comfortable, plenty of room to roam. This home was so beautiful we didn't want to leave. The property manager Jhonnathan was so helpful in any and all needs as well as the care takers who cleaned and did laundry on a daily basis and were available for any of our needs. Any problems that arose which were few were taken care of immediately. The view from this property is absolutely stunning. The road entering the property is really not as bad as others say, we had no problem with the drive up. Even our Costa Rica friends drove up in their Toyota (not a 4x4) with no problem to visit. I highly recommend this home it is one of a kind and absolutely stunning in every way. I will definitely stay here again on one of our next visits. I highly recommend this home to everyone you will be happy you chose it. It does not disappoint in anyway. Luxury at its finest. Thank you Jhonnathan for all your help while we were there.

Family time in paradise

Perfect property for our large group to stay. The pools were such a big hit that we often did not want to leave. The kitchen was a chef’s dream (and we had one with us!) Getting in & out of the very steep driveway was a challenge but the caretaker was there to help!

Stunning home

We came for spring break and we were 4 families with 7 kids ages 14-18. We had an absolutely wonderful time and a lot of it was because of this beautiful house. Dominical area is such a beautiful part of Costa Rica, but this house is so stunning, that we didn't even want to leave the house half of the time to explore, so it's all part of the beauty. From the moment I started talking with the You Get Here team, they were extremely responsive. They helped me with every question we had, helped set up excursions for us, put us in contact with The Private Chef and were always there when we needed anything. The caretakers, Divier and Carolina, are absolutely wonderful and are so kind and so helpful. Divier even came down one day to tell us about a sloth they had seen in a tree right near the house so that we could all enjoy it too. The house has everything you could possibly want and then some. We all had wonderful rooms and the kids were so happy in the bunk room, which is absolutely great even for teenagers! You definitely need a 4x4 to get up to the house so make sure you book one. And, the convenience of the Bar Jolly Roger to walk to for dinners/lunches is fabulous. Salads, burgers, wings and pizza and a very nice staff so that was so nice! The pools at the house and the views are stunning! Don't hesitate to book this house. You won't be disappointed!

Five Days of Luxury Living in Paradise!!

We were a group of 16 (8 adults and 8 children) visiting from Canada. The Jade House was a perfect fit for our group with everyone having a place to sleep, plenty of room to gather together, but also ample quiet spaces to seek out when needed! The listing and pictures are accurate but do not do this place justice! It is absolutely stunning! They have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable - the amenities (pool, BBQ, pool table, industrial sized ice maker!) and other small features - blender, waffle maker, etc were all wonderful! We had clear nights with amazing views of the stars and we were able to see toucans and other animals from the pool! We did not want to leave! The property caretakers, Didier and Carolina, were amazing! Very helpful and pleasant! The location was great - in between Dominical and Uvita. A couple of cautions to note would be that the road to the house is rough. A 4x4 is definitely recommended! Also, parking at the house is a bit challenging. There are really only flat spaces for three vehicles. If you have more vehicles, they may need to be parked on the steep driveway. We did this and had no issues, but just be aware. Those are minor issues as far as we are concerned and we would 1000% stay here again! Book it, you will not regret it!

Great for larger groups

The home is stunning and it was perfect for our group of 10 adults and 6 children. With the 3 pools and different seating areas it never felt crowded. We spotted toucans, monkeys, and a sloth from the deck. The tours (we did zip line and ATV) were a highlight for all ages, and I highly recommend The Private Chef. The Jolly Roger Bar is a close walk, and some of us enjoyed a morning walk a bit further down the hill to the cafe. The walk back up to the house is steep, but doable. Uvita and Dominical are close drives, although the road up the mountain is an adventure and I do not recommend driving after dark. There are currently renovations being done at the house and the children’s room is now smaller than shown in photos. The 3 bunk beds were great for our 6 kids ages 8-14, but it’s really just a place to sleep, not a space to hang out or play. They have added an extra bedroom beside the children’s room that might be useful for parents with younger children who want to sleep close by. We experienced some flooding on the lower level due to the renovations and heavy rain. The caretakers of the property live in a separate casita and they responded quickly to fix the problem and clean things up. Having them nearby to help with any unexpected issues was invaluable. Overall it was a fantastic week in a gorgeous setting that offers both adventure and relaxation.

Winter Getaway

This house was perfect for our group of friends who like to completely relax while on vacation. It had everything we needed, we cook in a lot and there was plenty of cookware and dishes. Property management team was very attentive to our needs, we only had 1 issue with the Wi-Fi and they were right on it. I highly recommend this property, we look forward to returning sometime for our 3rd visit to Costa Rica!

Truly Amazing Experience

We had a group of 15 women ranging in age from 23-78 and everyone had an amazing time. The house is gorgeous and spacious. The outside deck and pool areas are perfect for a large group. We never felt confined in any area of the house. Our communication with the property manager was top notch. The Yougethere group, but namely Steve, was awesome to work with. He also helped with excursions and advice on different areas to visit. It was all very helpful. Didier and his wife were great to have near us to help with any needs we had. I would absolutely recommend this house to any size group. It was a truly amazing experience.

Above our expectations!

A 4 wheel drive vehicle is a must to get to the Jade House and park inside the gate on the property. A breathtaking view from the infinity pools hit us as soon as we entered the house. The expansive terrace, 3 pools and pool bar is what the Jade House is all about. We especially enjoyed the sunsets. A perfect place for multiple couples or a large family!

Beautiful Property!

This home was absolutely beautiful and easily accommodated our group of 8. Very close to Uvita and Dominical. Property managers were very responsive and super easy to work with! We had a group of howler monkeys that took up residence in the trees right on the property which was awesome to see. Toucans flew across all the time along with many other birds. We tried Scala restaurant which was excellent and often visit Bar Jolly Roger for a fun dinner experience. Would definitely return. Thank you for having us!!

This place is breathtaking.

Our group of 12 could not believe the beauty of this house. The view from the pools area alone is worth a 5 star review. The infinity pool leads to 180 degree views of the ocean and a beautiful sunset every afternoon. The rooms have A/C, which provide a comfortable sleeping experience for all. You can also open almost all the doors and really bring the beauty of the outside in. The kids had a blast at the kids room as well as the 3 pools. The kitchen in fully equipped and beautiful. Make sure to have a 4x4!

Great stay

The house was a great place for our Thanksgiving vacation. It was spacious and open with plenty of seating and quiet bedrooms. It had all the little extras that make a stay easy: lots of pots and pans and dishes, pool towels, daily cleanings and pretty good wifi coverage for Costa. The view is incredible. Note that one bedroom has two twin beds that do not exactly make up as a king. There is a gap between them even when pushed together. Also, expect a separate contracting process with You Get Here, the property managers, in addition to VRBO. Easy to do but maybe easiest to contact You Get Here directly. Overall, an incredible home in a great area to relax.

Extended family vacation to Costa Rica

The Jade house is an amazing getaway for a large family group. Property Management was easy to work with and the house was fully stocked with all the necessary amenities. Towels for the pool, towels for bathing, towels for the beach! The view is amazing and we never tired of it! Make sure you rent a 4x4 vehicle because the road up is no joke...if it's your first time to Costa Rica, you might be surprised by the incline on a dirt road. If it's not, you probably are prepared. We ate twice at the Jolly Roger - super convenient and a good variety (burgers, pizza, chicken wings, salad etc) and just a bit down the road. The house was more than we needed (2 families of 5 and grandma/grandpa) - everyone was very comfortable. 4 kings, 2 twins and 6 twins downstairs in the kids room. The 4 kings all had ensuite bathrooms. TV was off almost all week (nice!) but the wifi was enough for the kids to have some downtime with devices when needed - but they spent most of their time at the house in the pools! We saw sloths, howler monkeys, and tucans from the deck!

Beautiful Home in a Beautiful Country

We couldn't have asked for anything better. Space, great furnishings, comfortable beds (bedrooms with AC), luxurious showers, amazing pools overlooking the ocean, shaded spots to get out of the sun, monkeys in the trees, Jolly Roger restaurant within walking distance... Friendly, accommodating people who worked with us to make sure our vacation was everything we hoped for. Can't wait to go back.

Spectacular home and hospitality

The Jade House was a wonderful home for our extended family of 15 which included 7 teenage boys. The view was spectacular and the house comfortable. Definitely plan hang out time in addition to excursions. We enjoyed Chef Royner and Lupita cooking meals for us most evenings and highly recommend their hospitality and delicious food. Our stay could not have gone more smoothly thanks to the staff at the house and the attention to detail. Many thanks you all helped make celebrating my mother’s 80th birthday very special.

Best vacation home ever!

Epic views, beautiful pool(s), great layout for multiple families with what amounts to 4 master suites, kids play room, great kitchen and outdoor cooking area, poolside bar.... the house was part of the vacation!
