It was great. I have a recommendation that could be a life saver. Remove the shrub at confluence of the driveway and the hwy on the south side. It's extremely hard to see northbound traffic. I wish you could secure the property adjacent to the south. The public traffic on the beach is crazy on the weekend.

Amazing Experience

The house and grounds were truly amazing. The house is stocked with everything you need to feel at home and the grounds, the house and the pool were kept immaculately clean. You have access to your own semi private beach to catch hermit crabs and lizards in addition to amazing sunsets! We will absolutely be back!

La plage très près de l’hébergement, elle était magnifique, grande piscine avec 6 chaises longues , tous les commodités disponibles dans la cuisine, seule bémol était le bruit des camions ( freins moteurs) puisque l’habitation est près de la route et dans une côte, tout le reste était très bien, à à 20 minutes à pieds du village Dominical par la plage

Great Vacation

My husband and I treated our children and 1 year old granddaughter to a 10 day stay at this lovely villa. It was everything the listing states. Well appointed, beautiful pool, right on the beach. Yes, when the trucks go by, you can hear them when they use their air brakes, but you quickly overlook it. We felt very safe and well looked after by Stephen and ViVi. Location was walking distance by beach to Dominical. Grocery store was a 3 min drive. We’d definitely go back!!!

I can’t say enough about this property. Incredible location with beach access within steps. Large pool for lounging in at night. Access to town within minutes. All the little touches provided as well, cooler and flashlights. 10 out of 10 property

Extended our stay in a great location

We decided to extend our stay last minute and felt lucky to find this house, ON THE BEACH, just south of Dominical. We stayed with our daughter and son in law for 3 nights in early May 2024 and had our house - one f three in this location-to ourselves. The location and house were perfect for us. Long walks on a nearly deserted beach, pool was great to lounge in at the end of the day, well-located within close proximity of Dominical and Uvita for restaurants and provisions. Grilled fish and fresh veg one nite for dinner-grill was clean & worked perfectly. Kitchen is well-equiped, had everything we needed. On-site hosts were on top of it, making sure all was clean and lined-up every morning, but not obtrusive. My only comment would be that it would be nice if an AC unit was installed in the dining/kitchen area to cool the downstairs main area of the house. The house at this time of year can get hot inside; we kept the AC units on in the bedrooms with doors open and fans working and it helped greatly. All in all, a great experience - we would come back! Thank you!

Nice property and beach with caveat

Unfortunately, my husband and I were not able to go to Costa Rica, but our friends did stay in the property. They enjoyed the house, pool and beach and thought Dominical was charming with good restaurants. The caveat is that the house is located near a main road, so there is significant noise from commercial traffic. If you can overlook that factor, the proximity to the water is very good and the house is nice.

Only one negative....

The house is lovely, The location, perfect. The beach, stunningly beautiful and at low tide a great walk into Dominical. The bedrooms are fine. Kitchen very well equipped, one of the best of all the homes I've rented over the years. The pool is perfect. The host was very responsive and helpful. The only negative, no AC in the main house, only in the bedrooms. It was near 90 degrees every day so the living spaces were quite uncomfortable. But, everything else about the house was delightful.

Excellent location and beach

The property is beautiful including the perfectly groomed gounds. We enjoyed playing in the ocean waves, walking on the beach, and swimming in the pool. We met several local families sharing the beach. The Palm trees full of coconuts and Henry shared a couple with us, cutting them and opening them for us to enjoy a fresh drink and tasty fresh coconut meat. The restaurants in Dominical were excellent! We made great memories here. 💗

Wonderful New Year break

We were a family group of 8 people ranging from 53 down to 15. This house was perfect for us, very spacious, lots of room by the pool, great size pool with perfect temperature. We went to a great New Year’s Eve party at Fuego brewery (reservations required), took a snorkel trip out of Uvita that the hosts helped book, went to Manuel antonio (an hour north), hiked to waterfalls (very close by, short drive). Hosts also helped us with car rental from the airport. Fantastic trip, great house, so nice being right on the beach, very easy drive into Dominical for food and groceries, and also easy to walk there along the beach.

Dominical Getaway

The property was great. Love the easy access to the beach. This was our second time staying in one of the Caballitos Del Mar properties & we will likely visit again. The You Get Here team was excellent, very responsive & helpful. One of the owners was staying in one of the other houses. He checked in to make sure we were having a good stay & gave us excellent restaurant recommendations.

Absolutely gorgeous!

We loved this property so much we're already trying to figure out when we can return. The house itself is spacious and comfortable; we loved the air conditioned bedrooms after days filled with adventures and tours. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and we all enjoyed sitting outdoors and watching for interesting birds and lizards. The private pool was an absolute highlight... it's far bigger in person that it appears in the pictures. The beach, a mere 30-second walk about the back door, was absolutely spectacular. During low-tide, Dominical was a 25-ish minute walk on the beach. The property managers and on-site caretakers were friendly and helpful. When we return to Costa Rica, I will absolutely be looking to book this property again!

Amazing house and location

This property was perfect for our group of 6. The house has great amenities, is located right next to a beautiful beach, and has a large pool that we enjoyed every day. There are many restaurants, several grocery stores, and attractions in short driving distance. The property manager and caretakers are very friendly and helpful. We very highly recommend this place and we'd love to stay there again in the future.

Family Adventure Vacation

This property was PERFECT for our family! It was a Home-away from-Home Paradise. It had the convenience of being able to swim in the pool or the ocean straight from our backdoor. The property is meticulously manicured yet was still jungle/tropical in nature. It was within less than an hour from the Quepos Airport, Manuel Antonio National Park, mangrove excursions, canopy ziplining, The Wales Tail, Cano Island snorkeling/scuba diving, and the beautiful Nauyaca Waterfalls (where you can swim in the cool waters of the lagoon and/or jump off/or dive off the cliffs into the cool waters below). At least these are the excursion we took part in. We rented a car so we had the convenience of going anywhere at any time. I would also recommend Fuego Brewery & Restaurant just 10 minutes from the house. We will definitely be coming back!

Southern Beauty

The house is gorgeous and perfectly positioned between Dominical and Uvita. The private pool was very nice but the almost private beach was even better, just 50 meters behind the house. There was plenty of room inside to relax and get separation from others with 3 large rooms. You can preorder some groceries to be available in the house upon arrival but I caution you to be very selective on how much you pre buy. Many items come in large quantities which end up getting thrown away. We took advantage of several excursions, Cano island snorkel, ATV mountain tour, 1/2 day inland fishing, Manuel Antonio park tour and massages in Dominical. All were wonderful!
