We had an amazing Christmas in this beautiful house! We’ve stayed in a lot of rental houses and this house was by far the best one yet! The views were breathtaking! The location was perfect- close to Uvita and Dominical but secluded enough to have privacy. You definitely need a 4-wheel drive to get up to the house! The house was very clean and had all of the amenities needed. We spent a few days at the house just relaxing by the pool and cooking our own meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. We were lucky enough to be visited by the monkeys on several occasions. This was our first visit to Costa Rica and we absolutely fell in love with the country. There is so much to do and the people are very friendly. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.

Wonderful Property

This is a wonderful property in a great location! My family and I enjoyed our week in the Dominical area and this house was the perfect home base. It is spacious, clean and comfortable. The pool was a perfect place to relax in the afternoon after a day of exploring and was big enough for my kids (12 and 14) to enjoy. As others have mentioned, the drive up is a bit intense but absolutely worth it for the views and wild life. We saw monkeys, Toucans and more all from our balcony. The AC in the bedrooms made sleeping very comfortable and the house is stocked with all you need (great kitchen, beach towels, laundry, etc.). We definitely recommend!

Fabulous place!

We loved San Martin Mirador! The pictures don’t do this place justice! It is even more spectacular in person! The view is just phenomenal. We especially loved hanging out on the back porch and enjoying the pool. We came when it was especially hot and humid (May) so the AC in bedrooms provided welcome relief. Would have been even better to have a way to cool the main living areas as well. But overall it wasn’t a problem. Excellent stay and wonderful customer service by You Get Here!

San Martin Mirador – A Jungle Retreat

This Spanish style house is beautiful! Bedrooms are ample sized with great closets. The attached bathrooms have good storage and counter space. The kitchen is well equipped and has an outdoor excellent grill, Things I look for: a bathroom for each bedroom, laundry, a good-sized pool, an ocean view, but most importantly – WILDLIFE at the house. This house all that and more! Dense forest surrounding the home provides shelter for toucans, aracaris, song birds, butterflies, insects, and capuchin monkeys. It was an easy drive from the main highway but requires 4x4. Great breezes flow through the house, using the AC one night. AND the view – large sweeping ocean views –with the sound of crashing waves. We love this area of Costa Rica and our time was mostly spent on the covered deck and in the pool. This house more than met our expectations.Some things to be aware of:•The house overlooks close neighbors. The roof is visible and you can hear people. A young family was there so we heard FUN giggles and laughter.•There are barking dogs in the neighborhood, but that is very common.•Playa Dominicalito is talked about as a less busy beach, however, we found it to be rocky and undesirable.•The pool is great sized with about a 5 foot deep end. We spent a lot of time there.Yougethere is a fabulous management company with great communication. You won’t be disappointed if you choose this spectacular home for your next adventure in Costa Rica. Pura Vida!!

Perfect place to enjoy the rain!

Unfortunately, it rained ever day we were there. But we spent most of that time on the outside balcony, reconnecting in a way would wouldn’t be able to otherwise. Host was very responsive, the house was immaculate (I wish there weren’t ants in the kitchen though), and when the internet was working, it was good (I think the storm may have impacted).

Absolutely beautiful!

The accommodations were amazing with plenty of room for six adults and fully stocked to make our stay comfortable. The view was breathtaking and the pool was lovely. We had a great view of the monkeys, Toucans, and parrots in the trees. The road up to the house is quite steep and a 4x4 is a must. The management team was great and prepared us each step of the way.

Wonderful stay!

Beautiful property, fantastic view, very clean, comfortable and well appointed stay! We loved the veranda and the daily visits from the many wonderful bird species. The nature that surrounds the property is just lovely. The pool was a welcome addition to help cool off on those particularly hot, humid days. Within a short drive to all amenities. Would definitely stay here again if visiting this region!

Beautiful location.

The property was lovely. We enjoyed watching nature on the veranda, with monkeys visiting daily and a wide variety of colorful birds flying by. The pool was quite shallow (it would be perfect for children younger than my own), but was a great way to cool off from a day in the hot sun. We did lose power multiple times, due to the heavy rains (we visited at the beginning of rainy season.) There were many great restaurants within a 10-minute drive. Alternatively, the kitchen was well equipped for cooking at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Costa Rica, and would highly recommend this villa.

Beautiful morning views with wonderful morning sounds

We stayed for a week during the “rainy” season, where it rained very little. We had a wonderful time and a wonderful stay. The kitchen has the basics that you would need to try your hand at cooking local cuisine. Plenty of comfortable chairs to sit and soak up the views of the coast or to sit by the pool. I wasn’t used to Costa Rica’s system for addresses. So if you type in the name of the house, that is actually where it is! Laundry came with plenty of detergent, as did the dishwasher. We fixed the grill while we were there so it’s working great! You will NEED a four wheel drive vehicle, the slope maxes out at 16% in one spot! Clean tap water and a freezer that produces some ice. Very clean pool with friendly pool service Some refinements. If you enjoy VERY firm beds, then you’ll enjoy these beds. WIFI is pretty weak here so I’d suggest at least one phone with an international plan. Very thin walls between bedrooms (especially the bathrooms). Know in advance that there will be blackouts at night, all of which occurred after we went to sleep so I couldn’t tell you how long they lasted. Would stay here again most definitely.

Wonderful views!

The property managers were easy to get in touch with and provided a great check in process. The property is absolutely beautiful! Views of the Pacific Ocean and Cano island, crystal clear pool and well equipped kitchen provides a great spot for exploring the area. Monkeys and toucans were frequent visitors. Dog next door barked occasionally, usually to alert us to the monkeys traveling past the property. We’ve been in Costa Rica for 7 weeks and stayed in 5 high end places. This property is by far the best of them.

Dominicalito perfection

Property was exactly as described. Everything clean, well stocked, very close to the Ocean. Check in crew was very helpful for check in and tour/chef recommendations. Didn’t even need to call them the whole time there as everything went without a hitch. Thank you again.

San Martin Mirador

Our trip to the San Martin Mirador house was just amazing! The house is completely perfect, the photos don’t do it justice… it’s just stunning. The view is incredible, the birds made morning coffee last hours! Both types of toucans, scarlet macaws, hummingbirds and white faced monkeys! The location is great, the house is very private and right between dominical and uvita. In a jungle neighborhood where you really do need a 4x4, and the property manager was so responsive to our questions and so helpful with everything! We couldn’t ask for a better experience!
