Wunderschönes altes Haus mit rustikaler, aber gemütlicher Einrichtung, guter Ausstattung und einem tollen Außenbereich. Die Auffahrt zum Haus ist zwar eine unbefestigte und steile Straße, aber ohne Probleme mit einem normalen Auto (Opel Corsa & Fiat Panda) möglich. Nach dem ersten Fahren für uns kein Thema mehr. Die Aufteilung der Räume ist sehr gut, sodass die Schlafräume hauptsächlich oben sind und die Küche direkt neben dem Essbereich draußen ist. Der Pool ebenfalls direkt daneben, ein Bier im Pool ist also auch auf kurzem Wege möglich. In Anbetracht des günstigen Preises des Hauses eine absolute Empfehlung.

We were two families and we had the most wonderful week at Mario’s beautiful house. The pictures do not do it justice. The pool is amazing, the house is perfect and rustic. The views of the surrounding area are incredible. The house is on the top of a hill and the road up is very steep. So many things to do nearby, Bagnoregio Civita, Bolsena, Sacro Bosco, cascata Marmore. We had such a great week. Mario was a great host.

Capodanno tra i calanchi

Abbiamo soggiornato per 3 notti in questa magnifica residenza insieme a 10 amici. Il proprietario è stato da subito molto disponibile e veloce nelle comunicazioni. La posizione è pazzesca in cima alla valle dei calanchi con Civita di Bagnoregio proprio difronte. La strada per arrivare è un po’ scomoda ma vale la pena per la tranquillità che ti assicura, lontano da strade, case o negozi. Sicuramente ci torneremo, magari in estate per provare la splendida piscina

Hard Way, Nice Place

The way to the house is a disaster for any car. The location itself is nice, but the pictures in the advertisement are significantly older. Accordingly, everything is a bit older in terms of furnishings. It's a shame that nothing is being renewed. The pool was great and if there were any problems, everything was taken care of straight away.

A remote paradise

This was just what we were hoping for, total privacy and isolation.the track to the property is quite a challenge, would recommend a substantial car.the house is fabulous, very rustic but with everything you might need. We could have happily stayed the whole summer, Bliss!!

Prachtige plek!

Sfeervol huis op een adembenemende plek met uitzicht op Civitia di Bagnoregio. De wandelingen vanuit huis naar de grotten en naar de prachtige Valle dei Calanchi tussen de koeien en de ezels mag je niet missen, we konden er geen genoeg van krijgen. Mario is een geweldige gastheer die alles voor je wil doen maar je privacy respecteert. Wij waren er in november en zou graag nog eens terugkomen in de zomer!

Schitterend charmant en karaktervol huis bovenop een berg!

Midden een olijfgaard, in de natuur, bovenop een berg, met prachtig uitzicht is dit charmant en karaktervol huis gelegen. Ideaal voor een rustige vakantie met toch alle comfort. De zonsopgang en -ondergang is werkelijk adembenemend. Wil je toch de streek verkennen, dan zijn er veel mogelijkheden (orignele, prachtige dorpjes en steden in de buurt). Mario was steeds bereikbaar en beantwoordde onmiddellijk al je vragen. Een superhost! Kortom, een zeer geslaagde vakantie! NB: de weg naar het huis is zeer steil en hobbelig. Zeker niet bestemd voor lage sportauto’s.

Kleines Paradies

Altes wunderschönes Bauernhaus ganz oben auf dem Berg mitten im Nichts. Sehr ruhig mit Pool, ein schöner Garten mit Blick auf Bagnoregio. Das Haus ist wundervoll eingerichtet mit vielen kleinen liebevollen Details und es gibt viel Platz für Rückzugsmoeglichkeiten. Mario kümmert sich unaufgefordert um Pool, Haus und Garten. Er ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit bei allem.

Great holiday week

It is a beautiful house which is fully equipped. The view is fantastic. The house is very attractively furnished, but the pool and terrace also look beautiful. Mario is a fantastic host who is very service minded. Communication was always very fast. he made sure we lacked for nothing. The environment is beautiful. We once rented a boat at Lake Bolsena, an absolute must. The lake Bolsena is een beautiful and clean lake. A visit to Cività di Bagnoregio is also recommended. The house is very secluded, so keep that in mind when you do your shopping.

Wunderbar mitten in der Natur

Ein Zauberhaftes Haus. Hoch oben auf einen Hügel, Mitten in wunderbarer Natur. Der Pool ist außergewöhnlich schön! Zu jeder Tageszeit findet sich ein angenehm schattiges Plätzchen auf dem riesigen Grundstück. Mario kümmert sich sehr zuvorkommend um seine Gäste. Genau das richtige um komplett auszuspannen!

Immersi nella natura

Il casale di Bagnoregio è immerso in una natura incontaminata. In vacanza con un gruppo di amici e bimbi 3-7 anni che si sono divertiti tantissimo. La piscina è elegante e pulita, gli interni arredati con gusto e con tutte le comodità. La sera il cielo stellato e il silenzio della notte, con il sottofondo dei grilli, lasciano un’impronta nel cuore. Unica pecca è la posizione: è su un’altura spettacolare con Civita di Bagnoregio da ammirare ma arrivarci è complicato. Le strade sterrate e con curve scoraggiano gli spostamenti. Il proprietario Mario è stato onesto e gentilissimo, sempre pronto a risolvere gli inconvenienti. Risultato: una bella vacanza in un posto immerso nella natura, pochi spostamenti purtroppo ma i racconti di sera dei lupi e dei cinghiali che abitano nei dintorni hanno creato la giusta magia. Un’esperienza, comunque da fare!

Au Calme

La maison est très isolée et le chemin d’accès est difficile mais la vue est vraiment sympathique. Mario est facilement joignable en cas de pb et très discret même quand il vient s’occuper de la piscine tôt le matin. La maison est agréable même si elle mériterait quelques améliorations pour être parfaite. Il faut savoir que vous êtes ici à min 15-20 min de route (avec plein de nids de poule) du centre de Bagnoregio ... le calme et la tranquillité se méritent !

Hilltop Retreat with stunning views

Cassa Del Piano is a secluded, peaceful and quiet house on top of a hill overlooking the beautiful countryside around it. There 3 double bedrooms (one of which is an en suite) in the main house along with a twin room. There is also an apartment style room which sleeps a further 2 people (which our group didn’t need in the end). There is a banquet type hall with ping pong table, another smaller dining room with massive fireplace and a big open ceiling sitting room. The house has a lovely garden and a great pool. We came in May and were unlucky with the weather, raining for 5 of the days we had in Bagnoregio. However the house had good heating and Mario was very attentive and gave good recommendations for things to do in the area for us and our 3 small children. He even kindly bought a new ping pong table! When it is sunny, the house comes into its own- it really is an amazing location for days spent by the pool in total tranquility. The drive to the house is down a road into the valley with a few tight bends and potholes. The drive up to the house from that road is a 7 minute steep ascent to the top of the hill , but it is fine. Mario is a great holiday landlord, he was kind and provided essentials like milk, bread and pasta when we arrived. He was excellent in his response times if we ever had questions too. We would definitely return to Casa del Piano!

Lovely holiday in a calm and interesting location

Had a totally relaxing stay. The house was spacious, clean, well equipped and full of character. Pool was beautiful and it was great to have so much outdoor seating. Mario attentive and helpful. The track up is a little daunting at first but came to love it. Great places to visit nearby and close proximity to Tome. Great holiday

Beautiful views, a bit isolated

We stayed for a week at Mario’s villa with our family of 8 adults and two children. We had a lovely week and really enjoyed ourselves. The villa has three double bedrooms (one being en suite) in the main house and one twin. There is a further double bedroom in the lower ground floor that is ensuite but you have to walk around the house to get to the main building. Fine for one of our couples as they were happy to be away from the kids! The house is full of character and beautiful. The views are stunning. Everything is clean and in good working order. Mario came up daily to either clean the pool or take the rubbish away. The only challenge was the road to the villa which is 1km steep gravel track that our little hire cars did struggle with. Bagnoregio takes 15-20mins to drive to and has a well stocked supermarket. Civita is gorgeous. Overall we had a lovely stay and thank Mario for his hospitality.

The best week of the summer 2018

We stayed a week in Mario's house. And we loved it. 4 adults and 4 children, age 11-14 had a great time. Nice charming house with 4 big bedrooms. The house and the kitchen, had everything needed. Most of the time, we were on the terrace, playing cards and enjoying cool drinks or in the pool. The pool is a nice size, both for relaxing and having fun. The view over the hills and Civita di Bagnoregio is spectacular. Mario is kind and very helpful host. If something came up or if we had any questions, he came as soon as possible, to make sure everything was good. The road to the house is very steep, but nothing a regular car, can't handle. There is a lot of noise from the cicadas all day long, but in a way we got used to it. For trips we can recommend the Civita di Bagnoregio and Cascata delle Marmore near Terni.

Simply the best!

We really loved staying at Mario’s place. The location is beautifully stunning, for true nature lovers. The view is breathtaking! Mario is a very caring, generous, attentive host. The house is comfortable, spacious and cozy. So peaceful. It felt like home! We loved every second of it and we would definitely go back.

Très belle maison dans un cadre magnifique et Mario et sa maman sont adorables, elle nous avait fait des petits gateaux "Amaretti" à notre arrivée avec quelques provisions pour le soir et le petit déjeuner. La villa est bien cachée (mais Mario peut venir vous chercher si vous hésitez! ) mais vaut vraiment le détour dans une très belle région de l'Ombrie à 2h de Rome mais avec de très belles villes à voir plus près: Orvietto, Viterbe et la toute proche civicita Di Bagnoregio. Ne pas hésiter à louer 2 semaines si possible! Mario est charmant et très attentionné tout en étant discret. Nous étions dans un petit Paradis italien ! Mille mercis Fanny
