The pool and the entire area were beautifully maintained with many lounge chairs and there was an attached patio with a dining table plus 8 chairs with a spotless grill. The porch in the front of the house had many large pots filled with flowering plants. The whole house was very clean & decorated with wonderful African art along with stylish & colorful prints. The kitchen was incredibly equipped with every appliance a cook might require. The bathrooms were never short of hot water & the pressure was more than adequate . I would highly recommend this house.

We stayed here for a week in September 2025 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa and pool were of the highest standard and the location set amongst vineyards and olive trees was very relaxing. It is close to both Carcassonne and Narbonne and there is a Carrefour in the near by town of Rieux Minervois.

We, four adults and a nine yesr old, stayed at this lovely property one week in August. It was a week of extreme heat and the pool was well used whilst the aircon kept us cool indoors. The house is large and very clean with beautiful views over olive trees and vineyards with mountains in the back ground. The kitchen is well equipped and there are lots of books and boardgames for evening fun. The owners are very nice and they were quick to respond to any questions we had. There are lots of wine tasting/buying opportunities in the area and many little cute villages to explore nearby. All in all we had a perfect weeks hol.

OUT OF AFRICA IN FRANCE

Herrliche Tage liegen hinter uns. Azille ist ein kleiner typisch französischer Ort und am Ende liegt KILIMA. Wir entspannten am Pool, genossen die herrliche Aussicht und die Umgebung mit all ihren Sehenswürdigkeiten und Städten wie Narbonne, Carcassonne und sogar Toulouse. Die Restaurants im Umkreis sind empfehlenswert und natürlich wurde der große Gasgrill auf der Terrasse häufig genutzt. Ein Urlaub wie gewünscht...vielen Dank an die Gastgeber.

The villa is really lovely and extremely well equipped. The swimming pool was really fantastic and we spent hours relaxing on the terrace. The view is wonderful. The owners were very helpful on a difficult first travel day and extremely responsive when I had questions about local taxis etc. We loved the fact that there was a pool table and table tennis. The lounge is extremely spacious so on any rainy days there is plenty of space for everyone to relax. There are a couple of supermarkets within easy reach by car and a number of nice restaurants, particularly in Homps. Most importantly for us since we were travelling with my elderly disabled mother, the property was very accessible with a downstairs step free en suite double and railings into the pool. We searched quite hard for somewhere that accommodate her needs and this villa was absolutely perfect for that. The only comment I would make was that it is normal especially in a high end villa to have a small amount of welcome food (loaf of bread, jam, butter) and this was not provided. Given we had such a difficult travel day and arrived when all shops were closed (and could not visit a supermarket until our car hire was resolved) this was problematic. I would expect that in a villa at this price point and having stayed in many over the years I would say it would usually be a given. Otherwise everything was absolutely outstanding.

Beautiful, Complete Property

Beautiful views, lots of privacy and one of the best stocked properties that we have ever rented are what you get with Kilima. And an actual, proper, propane, full-sized BBQ grill which is virtually impossible to find in Europe. Ductless heat pumps in every room so you can always set the perfect temperature. We would have liked to spend even more time in the heated pool but unfortunately the September temperatures were a little lower than we had expected. We had a great stay at Kilima.

Lovely house

Lovely house, air conditioning a bonus with hot weather peaking up to 39 degrees, and a great pool. Lounge with 3 sofas had lots of room to relax. Owner very helpful and always replied quickly to questions.

Family reunion

We have visited the Minervois several times and enjoy it very much,the small villages,markets,wineries,also visits to the Mediterranian ports.the house suited us very well,well furnished,lots of dishes,glasswear,cooking utensils etc,BBQ. pleasant outdoor seating and dining area.nice bathrooms.lovely views over the countryside.

Wonderful place

This is our second visit to Kilima. It was as wonderful as it was last time. Susie and Mike are fabulous hosts. The house is spotless and has everything we need. Azille is gorgeous and we have explored the surrounding areas. The pool was perfect. Sunny, hot weather. Thank you again.

Fantastic villa, lovely area

This is a beautiful villa within easy access to all the lovely places to visit in the area. The villa was spotless and the pool lovely ( although access is difficult for people with mobility issues, very steep steps with no rail). The downstairs en-suite bedroom is ideal as it has a walk in shower. The local area has some very good restaurants. Would thoroughly recommend. 5 stars.

This villa was the best we have ever stayed in, it exceded our expectations .we had a really relaxing time riding the bikes(provided) playing pool(in the games room).The upstairs bedroom will take your breath away.Every morning we walked to the bakers for our baquettes.Icannot recommend this villa or the hosts enough.

A wonderful villa in Azille

This is a lovely holiday home, tastefully decorated and very well equipped. Lots of great features: nice pool, games room, bikes, views over the vineyards towards the hills, and much more. Peaceful setting but groceries are all within easy reach (in a choice of ancient, hill top towns). We had a great time here.

Azille Kilima villa

Beautiful villa with everything you need. Great pool. Super for disabled grandma. Lovely markets nearby. Easy to walk into village for baguettes every morning. We enjoyed wine tasting at Chateaux Guery in Azille. Olive tasting, canyoning, kayaking, local markets and enjoying the restful villa overlooking vineyards and the most amazing view. un max de comfort

Nous avons adorés notre séjour sur place. La maison est super bien équipée et les charmants propriétaires étaient toujours dispo pour répondre à nos questions ! La région est un trésor en centres d'intérêts : culture / mer / montagne / nature / culinaire donc chacun peut y trouver un centre d'intérêt. La piscine fut fort bien appréciée par chacun vu les fortes températures ! Le seul point que nous pouvons soulever ne dépends pas du propriétaire mais de la rigueur des locataires précédents à savoir le fait de bien traiter/nettoyer les objets du ménage tels que barbecue ou douche ou sel dans le lave vaiselle. Il faut toujours entretenir une maison de location comme si c'était sa propre maison ! Merci bcp aux propriétaires pour leur gentillesse et leur assistance lors de notre séjour. Un séjour 5 étoiles ! Heerlijk modern en ruim huis

Het huis is groot en modern, de keuken is prettig en het zwembad geweldig! Azille is een leuk dorp op loopafstand en er zijn genoeg supermarkten vlakbij. We waren met twee gezinnen en wilden eigenlijk niet meer weg!

Endroit calme et retiré

Très agréable, vaste. Piscine superbe. Air climatisée partout, dans chaque chambre, dans l'aire principale (cuisine/salon) et chambre de lavage/jeux. Très confortable, très belle sélection de romans et DVD malheureusement la grande majorité en anglais. Service attentif pour l'entretien de la piscine. Manque, cependant, des miroirs dans 2 des 3 salle de bain/douche (un peu compliqué pour se faire la barbe le matin). Propriété bien sécurisée (volets motorisés partout, système d'alarme, portait d'accès verrouillable). Nous avons bien aimé, ma famille et moi, notre séjour dans cette belle villa.
