"The house is perfect for a getaway in the Weald. It was spotlessly clean. A nice welcome package with milk, cereal and tea made breakfast easy. Everything was in good nick. Recommend their pub The Kings Head in nearby Staplehurst. Also 50 minutes to London from there if you want no more beautiful countryside."

From under 2’s to grandparents in their 80’s, it was spot on Offering high chairs, potty’s, travel cots and plastic child friendly plates etc, as well as swings and garden toys, our great niece and nephew were very well catered for The house is full of nooks and crannies, so it was easy to find a quiet spot to sit and read or have forty winks! "We had booked a boat on the Thames for my 50th birthday for bank holiday weekend.. two days before we were due to leave it was cancelled due to the rivers being on red alert. "The property was very clean and tidy. The Continental Breakfast provided was varied, plentiful and fresh. We only met the owner, Rosie and one other member of staff called Linda. Both were very welcoming, nice, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t really have time to investigate the area as our stay there had been for the purpose of visiting friends who we had met on previous holidays abroad and to attend their daughter’s wedding. We wouldn’t hesitate to book to stay at Hogwarts again...

"This place is exactly as it’s described, the host is wonderful she answers any questions. The venue is spotlessly clean has an amazing hot tub and spa room with sauna they also do massages but sadly I didn’t get to try but if it’s anything like the venue it would have been amazing will definitely stay there again and will book in advanced for full spa treatment. 100% recommend"

"We had a lovely stay at Higham Manor. The property is spacious with a great pool and hot tub. We had 3 generations of our family and a dog and everyone enjoyed themselves. The property is a quirky mix of shabby chic and gothic. With everything we needed for our stay. Lots of parking and no stress at checkin or checkout. Would definitely recommend this house."

"There was no clear communication on how to get into the property. I did ask 24 hours before arriving and it took multiple calls email and texts after we arrived to get a response. The stove top cooker needed to be repaired as it was not working, there was no hot water for the entire 5 days i was there and there is no clothes dryer. We searched the entire property inside and out. I did get a reimbursement for the inconvenience but it was still very disappointing."
