The apartment is comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything though the mugs were oddly enormous at 24 fluid ounces each! Table has 6 chairs but living room seats were only four, too few for the group of 5 or 6 that might take the accommodations.
It is emphatically not ski-in ski-out. The town gondola is about 3 to 4 blocks away - too far in ski boots. Gondola takes you to the base of a lift about a mile away. The nearest parking ($10) is about 1 mile and then there's a bus up to the skiing. The nearest ski-to place is a mile away. The waterfront is the creek (nice) and beyond that, Route 6 (less nice).
The bedroom adjacent to the living room was comfortable and the sliding glass doors are opaque but do transmit light and sound, so it was easy to wake up the bedroom's inhabitants.
The master bedroom on the lower floor was very nicely done. Lots of space and windows, big bathroom and plenty of storage and space.
The smaller third bedroom, also downstairs in this lower level townhouse, was less pleasing. The two single beds are extremely high and the frames are several inches wider and longer than the mattresses. In this small room, it meant that the beds had only about 14-15" between them at their widest part and only about 10-12" at the ends (which were sharp and easily bumped into) - barely room to get between and no room for a proper bedside table and lamp at the right height - so no way to read before sleeping - the photos don't show this well. To turn out the light, you get out of bed and cross the room to turn off the lamp and then navigate back in the dark - likely hitting the sharp bedframe.
There is only one usable drawer in the room (deep but only 18" wide). The closet contained a few hangers, a pack and play, and a vacuum cleaner - leaving little room for anything else. Bunks or a queen bed would work better.
That being said, all the beds were comfortable and linens and towels clean and pleasant. Carpets were new and nice. Cabinets clean inside and out. There were hair dryers, toiletries and good cellular blinds. Even though outside it went down to -10 or lower, we were cozy and the condo management did a good job with snow removal and gritting. The bus stop is just outside, though the condo is a bit too far to walk in ski boots to the gondola. Shops are close by.
Overall a good, cosy and comfy stay - but not ski-in/out and not a perfect fit for our group of 5 adults.
