  • Unique beach studio 500 ft from Avon Pier, adjoining Studio 12 art gallery/ pottery/ coffee shop, has all the things you love -including shop discounts. Clean and cozy, the tiny apartment is perfect for fishing, windsurfing, kiting and surfing enthusiasts who just want a quiet place to crash before their next big adventure. Artists will find pottery wheels, clay projects, glass fusion and mosaics. Plus 2pm daily classes in clay, jewelry, shell deco and more. Foodies indulge in cupcakes, acai bowls, breakfast sammies, smoothies and espresso. 10% discount for renters. The studio is closed on Saturdays and Sundays so plan your activities accordingly. This is one of two units available, unit one is slightly larger with a full kitchen and no laundry.

Cosy and relaxing

Lovely time and comfortable accommodations. Everything was clean and beautiful with unique and stylish decor. All amenities were available that one could need. The host answered all our questions promptly and provided all information about the property and activities in the area. We love the Outer Banks and we would stay here again.

Nice little getaway

Perfect little spot for escaping for a week. Convenient to everything on the Outer Banks. Great place to walk across the street and catch dinner, then bring it back and cook it up.

Great location

This was perfect for a long weekend. We typically spend a lot of our time in Avon by the pier so this location was perfect for us. It was a slight tight fit because husband just *had* to bring several surf boards but it worked out just fine. Kitchen was stocked well and host was very informative of how to use the space the best. We would definitely stay again!

Great affordable overnight place

We wanted to extend our stay and this place was perfect to get one more beach day, bike around and eat out. Location is awesome and hosts are friendly and informative. Was a little hot at night but to be fair we could have called to let someone know.

Girls get away

Awesome place for my daughter and I on our first girls get away. The space is super quaint and the pictures are exactly what you will find. The studio is attached to the shop so it’s a little noisy starting about 8:30 in the morning if you’re not an early riser. The people are great and we loved staying here.

Easy access... great location close to pier restaurants and shopping...property manager very nice and accommodating...apartment could have been cleaner ..had to clean bathroom before use...also tv remote had dead batteries so could not use tv...room very stuffy but understandable for july

Great Location

This was our first time staying in Avon. This was a cozy room in a great location. The Avon Pier was right across the street. Coffee in the cafe was delicious and convenient. Dawn was accommodating and had great recommendations for area restaurants. We also enjoyed a clay class and made our own coffee mugs. What a great experience.

Dainty Comfort

Our stay was awesome. The apartment wasn’t huge, but very comfortable for two adults looking to have some privacy and able to explore the surrounding areas with ease. The beach and pier were across the street. Shopping was convenient and within walking distance. And even the attractions such as Bodie and Cape Hatteras lighthouses were not that far away. Highly recommend staying!

Location location location

Little one room apartment that is close to great restaurants, Avon pier and a charge point. Teslas need the IKITS CCS1 Charger Adapter. If you are out playing all day and don’t need a seat with a view - its a great place to sleep make breakfast and go!

Super Cute Run Away

Was originally planned as a birthday run away for myself but a friend tagged along at the last minute. It was a super tight squeeze but still very fun. So close to the beach…literally just cross the street and you will be in the sand in a few steps. The space is very small but definitely adequate for 1 person or a couple…my friend and I made it work though….we are even still friends after the weekend lol! Super convenient to have a washer dryer on site. Very accommodating owner. Super amazing with any questions I had and recommendations for the area. Super helpful as I’m from AZ and knew nothing about the area. Would absolutely stay again if I’m ever back this way.

4th of July getaway.

Dawn was a great host, she was super attentive and hospitable. She made it known that she was there if we needed anything and was responsive when we reached out to her. Dawn even invited us to hang out with her and her staff to enjoy the great firework show Avon put on at the pier directly across the street from her business which is attached to the rental. It was great. One of her staff actually cooked burgers and dogs on the grill and graciously invited us to join them. The room was super clean, well stocked for our stay, the bed was comfy and there was even detergent provided for the washing machine. I had good signal from Verizon in the room and the TV had plenty of things to watch if you wanted find a show. We had a great time on the Outer Banks and Dawn made our stay enjoyable. Thanks Dawn we would definitely consider staying at this studio again.
