"We booked here for a weekend to attend a friend's wedding and had a wonderful stay. Finch Cottage is great - there is so much thoughtful attention to detail throughout the property. It has a well-stocked kitchen and Jilly had left delicious homemade marmalade and muesli which we were very grateful for, not to mention the bottles of wine and a local ale! "I stayed in this hotel room and it was ridiculously hot to the point of being unbearable. The air conditioning either didn’t work or was completely ineffective, and the room felt like a sauna all night. I wasn’t able to sleep at all, which completely ruined my stay. For the price I paid, this is unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here until they fix their temperature control issues."

We did find it extremely warm OR freezing if we turned the heating down, hard to get the right temperature.
