We absolutely LOVED our stay here! It was the perfect few day getaway to escape the hustle and bustle of life and disconnect. Very friendly ducks, beautiful property and 10/10 host. We will definitely be back to Littlecreek!

This was not our first time at Littlecreek and will not be our last. It is a perfect relaxing spot with just enough isolation to ensure peace and quiet. It was exactly what my husband and I needed. Can't wait to return.

Wonderful stay at Littlecreek Cabin! Our kind of place - off beaten path, peaceful, quiet, relaxing. Katie is the BEST host! She learned we were going to be celebrating the 94th birthday of my husband’s mom and left some birthday surprises for her! I made use of the kitchen to make a birthday girl requested homemade chocolate chip cake. We ordered food from a great local restaurant, Corbett’s Catfish & More. Our birthday girl loves her some catfish! Good times! One of our daily highlights was visiting with the 4 resident ducks. Those guys are very entertaining and hilarious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning.

This is a jewel of a place to relax and enjoy the country life. We knew we were going to love it from the minute we pulled in the long driveway. Each morning we had breakfast on the side patio and watched the ducks on the pond. The facilities provide everything you could need for your stay. The master bedroom is comfortable, cool, and best of all dark. It was so nice to just sit back and listen to birds while reading and sitting under the pergola. Plenty of places to walk. AND BEST OF ALL is Katie! I left some important medicines in a drawer, and Katie contacted the housekeeper who drove those meds to our home and placed them in the mailbox the next day. UNBELIEVABLE. I'll forever be thankful for each of them. We have already booked again! Oh and I would LOVE to know the brand name of that Pet Blanket. Funky COVIDina loved it.

Tremendous experience. Was exactly as advertised, and how often does that happen? One note: If you don't like ducks, be aware they like to wander around the cabin and the grounds looking to be fed.

Great little cabin

We only stayed one night, but such a nice place for little more than a hotel room would have cost. We'll probably be back again and stay longer if we can arrange the travel in warmer weather. The property is large and scenic so would love to have a couple days to explore and relax here.

Perfect outdoorsy getaway

Our family of five had a very comfortable 3 night stay. The property is clean, well maintained, updated with appliances, and just beautiful. We did it all, hiked the short easy trails, fished (catch and release only), had a fire in the fire pit, grilled, and enjoyed the peaceful scenery on the porch. The ducks were so cute and friendly. We had a few questions the first full day, and Katie was quick to respond. We ventured out to Daingerfield State Park and had an amazing time there! The kitchen is well equipped for anything you need! Pro tip: bring a few paper plates along. The dishes work great but for our family we had to wash quite a bit. The grill is very nice too—another pro tip: bring a lighter :) it was so fun and we would love to return for another stay! Thank you so much to the lovely hosts! Your cabin is perfect and picturesque so thank you for sharing it with others!

Little creek cabin

Wow! We just loved our stay at this property. Beautiful cabin and view of pond off of front porch was amazing. Easy access in and out of property and ample parking. Katie was very responsive and a great host. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely cabin! It was a relaxing time indoors and outside. The host provided everything you need for comfort and outdoor enjoyment. Very Comfortable cabin in the woods.

We are from Iowa and wanted to escape our freezing temps by going to Texas for Thanksgiving. We found this listing on VRBO, and it looked perfect for us. We are elderly and we travel with our 11 y/o Malti-poo. We found Little Creek to work out great for all 3 of us. The cabin was nicely furnished and clean with all appliances in good working order. The hot water was plentiful, and they had a combo coffee pot plus an expresso maker. A really nice bonus was having a washer and dryer. All plumbing worked perfectly. Our little dog loved taking walks with us all over the property - I particularly loved walking down to the pier to watch the ducks. We were only about 20 miles from Jefferson, Texas and we enjoyed going thru the shops and we had our wonderful Thanksgiving meal at the 1852 on Austin Restaurant. The people were so friendly, and the food was great. There were abundant fishing and water sports nearby for those that would enjoy it, but we were there more to just relax, rest and travel to the small towns nearby. We spent evenings in the very comfy reclining sofa in the living area watching a movie or two. Katie was a very special host and communicated well. Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!!
