We stayed at Hamilton Cove for a wedding. The property was great! The views are amazing and spent countless hours on the balcony taking it all in. Condo had everything you needed and the host provided all the information you need from getting on the boat, luggage storage, things to do. Host was responsive and was even able to accommodate us getting our little one an early nap on arrival before rehearsal dinner. Would definitely stay here again as it’s nice to be in your private cove away from the hustle of downtown. Property is quiet and well kept. Steps away from the pool and hot tub. Highly recommend staying here if you are coming to Catalina.

SUPERB

This property is our favorite home away from home. We have traveled here twice now and loved it just as much both times. The view from the balcony is amazing. The sound of the waves against our private beach is soothing. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen is nicely stocked with most any gadget you would need. The condo also comes with some "toys" you can take to the courts, pool, beach , etc. Its a nice little bonus. Having the golf cart with the condo is a life saver (and a money saver.) It's an essential part of seeing the most the island has to offer. Only down side in the hike up the stairs. LOL. Its a fantastic work out every day as you come home. However it makes getting to the room a bit difficult when you have a bad back or are recovering from cancer treatments. But the comfort of the condo makes the climb worth every step.

Misleading!

The location and views from the property were absolutely beautiful and is the reason I am being generous with the 3 stars. Unfortunately the condition in the interior of the property was not as pictured or described. There were a lot of outdated and dilapidated parts, especially in the bathrooms and bedrooms. With the amount we paid and the unit being described as luxury we were very disappointed with the condition of the place. Broken outdoor chairs, broken and extremely old ironing board, faulty iron, floors falling apart, rusty and moldy bathrooms, weak shower water pressure. One bathroom’s door gave us zero privacy because it wouldn’t close. Walls full of stains, closets full of junk, questionable cleaning, hairs in showers and floors, crooked “art”, very outdated bathrooms without any guides for hot or cold water, etc. There was a lot of noise from workers and landscapers cutting trees every day from very early in the morning. Also the golf cart was extremely weak and slow. For us this was supposed to be a special occasion but instead I had to apologize to my in-laws about the condition of the place! P.S. you will have to climb a lot of steep stairs to get to the unit.

Great place with an amazing view and quick access to the pool and other amenities. Drive into town is about 5-7 by golf cart. Host was sometimes slow to respond. Otherwise a good experience all around.

Just as beautiful as the pictures!

This is by far the best place I've stayed on the island and the views are spectacular! I luv that it comes with private beach and golf cart! Going to make this a regular place for our annual catalina trips.

Memorial Day Stay

Place was amazing. Views amazing. Can't wait to come back. Just caution that stairs are challenging for older people and also carrying luggage other than that it was an incredible stay.

Beautiful views

If you want beautiful views, this is the place to stay. It's outside the city center so it's quieter. The golf cart is a must and easy to use. Grocery store is not too far away. We were able to enjoy the pool and hot tub because they were very close. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Property, View and Owner

The view was amazing and property was perfect. Very spacious and had all amenities you need from hair dryer to kids items to kitchen essentials. Would highly recommend and come back for sure! Thanks for a great stay!

October Get Away

Everything was wonderful. We had an early birthday celebration for my husband. The stairs were easier to navigate then other properties that we have stayed at Hamilton Cove.

Absolutely loved staying here so much that my cousins and I decided to book another night! The only thing I would suggest mentioning on the website is that there are numerous steep stairs to get to the property. It would be very difficult for elderly or disabled. Other than that.. it was AMAZING!

Beautiful views

We had a lovely stay at this villa. The views are magnificent. The furniture in the living room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is clean but the dishwasher has seen better days. It would have been nice to have a sponge that didn’t have a hole in it and there wasn’t a replacement for us to use. Other than that, the place was wonderful!

Stunning property with spectacular views

Hamilton Cove is one of the best places to stay in Catalina! It truly felt like a vacation, away from the loud noises and busyness of Avalon. The use of the provided golf cart was incredibly convenient and appreciated. The check-in process and communication with Amber was seamless. Thank you!

Company Retreat Success

The Condo was AMAZING! we thoroughly enjoyed the view from the balcony. We loved waking up to the sunrise over the ocean. The rooms were clean and tidy. Everything we needed was available in both the kitchen and bathrooms. There is even a closet full of outside fun stuff. A full set of golf clubs, tennis rackets, croquet, sand toys, etc. Also, having the Golf Cart was worth every penny as well. We were able to drive all over Avalon and see everything we wanted to see. It really was a perfect trip.

it's all about the view...

A fun place with an epic view. A few stairs to get there but worth every step to get the view! We took our four grandkids who loved the pool and beach. Golf cart got us into town so we could easily enjoy everything.

Great choice

We celebrated my daughter’s 21st birthday myself and three of her closest friends. We had an amazing time. Everything was comfortable and cozy. I would definitely recommend this unit whenever I come back. The view with breathtaking our golf cart was closed in which I love because it kept the breeze away. If I needed anything whenever I called the owner or the property manager, they contacted me immediately that was a super plus overall I am grateful and definitely would stay here love love love.
