Beautiful, peaceful property

Gorgeous property, inside and out! Absolutely loved our stay. 67 steps to the unit, but worth every step for the amazing view! No AC, but in July this was no problem — just opened a window to bring in the cool evening air. Having a golf cart to get around is a must, and so appreciated having one included. Twice we even encountered deer walking across the road while coming up and down the mountain. So beautiful! This was an experience we won’t soon forget!

Amazing views!

This place is all about the views! Beautiful ocean views from the balcony, the living room and the bedroom. The property is also great with pool, gym, basketball court, volleyball court, tennis, croquet, and a playground. The host had a basketball which was awesome and we used!! They also had croquet balls and tennis balls but no clubs or mallets so we couldn’t play those games. The golf cart was also a great amenity but the parking brake is finicky esp on hills and it’s a pretty bumpy ride. The golf cart along with the place could use a little TLC. We couldn’t get the pull out sofa to unfold, the grill worked but only one side, (the knob was broken on one side), but the views and amenities at the property are what your coming for so we enjoyed our stay overal!! ,

Wonderful property. Gorgeous views and a quiet comfortable space. The entire stay was magical! Check out was a bit rocky as our paperwork stated check out was at 11. They pushed us at 10:30. If that is all that happens, the vacation wis a positive

Feels like Greece!

This is a beautiful property in a gorgeous community in Catalina. The view from every room was amazing and the golf cart was so fun and convenient. There is a community pool and hot tub, and a great dock at a private beach that is perfect for jumping into the Pacific. It was a little small for a family though. We only brought one of our three children with us, so it worked, but the sofa bed was not very comfortable. I feel like this property is ideal for two people. That being said, we had an amazing time and we would stay here again and recommend the property to friends.

Beautiful view, great place!

The property was amazing. Nice living area, lovely semi-private balcony, great master bed! Nice sitting table outside, perfect height for a great view. It was super clean. The pool is close below, but shuts down at 10pm and it's super quiet all around, very peaceful. The stairs are not a big deal. The only small knock is that the provided golf cart probably needs a bit of repair. It works fine and is safe, but you have to jiggle the pedal a bit to get it going and it's runs a little rough. But it's okay. A master shower reno would put this place over the top! But it's nice too. I would def stay again.

Great views from Cali Mediterranean condo

The location was great. Views from the semi-private balcony were awesome. We would stay here again. Only suggestion is some instructions on how to open the sleeper couch and to replace the mattress, sags in the middle.

Beautiful location!

We had an amazing time! Management team was super friendly and responsive. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. The view was the best part. We got up every morning and watched the sunrise. Wish we knew to ask the taxi driver to drop us off at the top so we didn't have to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs, but it was worth it.

Amazing!

My daughter and I enjoyed 3 nights in Avalon. The condo was beautiful, with a balcony across the front with spectacular unobstructed views of the ocean! The use of the golf cart to get around was a great must have to stay and enjoy Avalon! The pool and spa are right below you. You do have to climb about 70 steps to get to the condo, so please take into consideration. We had a wonderful time, and hope to stay here again! My only recommendation would be to add a cookie sheet or baking pan, we bought cinnamon rolls at Vons but had nothing to bake them on.

The property was nice. Had a little hiccup at check in but it was quickly resolved. Bed in room was comfy. Couch bed was not but most couch beds are not great. Wish there was a spa and restaurants on site. Great views. Loved the golf cart...good bonus. Could hear neighbors walking or moving around in condo above alot

Big Things Great, SmallThings Not So Great

This property checks all of the big boxes. Spacious, clean, great location, close to Avalon and it comes with a golf cart, wonderful! However, after we arrived we began to notice some less than perfect things wrong with the place. When we opened the refrigerator for the first time, one of the shelves feel out onto the floor, the living room blinds were bunched up funny, didn't hag straight and looked odd, some of the cranks for the windows were broken, both outdoor umbrella's were broken and would not stay up, there were ant in the kitchen and the alarm went off unexpectedly for quite some time. The golf cart worked, but was old and smelled of gas. Paint was chipped in many places and the decor was old. These are the small things that with some attention could make this place really great. Overall, as I said, it is a nice unit.

First time staying in Hamilton Cove

This was my first time staying in Hamilton Cove with my boyfriend and we had an awesome time! :) This condo has such amazing ocean views, perfect for watching the sunrise, and relaxing on the balcony any time of the day. The condo was spacious, with plenty of seating, comfortable king bed, good kitchen, close to the pool/spa, etc. Having a golf cart was extremely helpful! :) Some things to consider: - there are QUITE a bit of stairs, so you’ll definitely get your leg day workout in each time you leave your condo, we didn’t mind it though. - the toilet was making an extremely loud screaming noise multiple times a day and in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. (We let the property team know after we checked out) - there were a lot of ants in the condo (not Necessarily the property’s fault as ants can arrive at any time, but we found them in the kitchen, bathroom, carpet, and sometimes in our bed while sleeping. (I let the property team know after we checked out) - the golf cart seats and cart itself were very dirty upon first use, so just make sure you bring a towel with something to clean it with before sitting on it like we did haha. - there were no baking trays to cook something in the oven, so we had to go buy disposable ones at Vons. (Plenty of regular frying pans though) I’m still giving this place a 5 star because the trip was absolutely amazing, kitchen was good, bed was comfortable, views were second to none, and communication with property was good. If the toilet issue and ant issue get fixed, then we will return to this unit. -
