All i can say about this property is...WOWWW!! My family of 4 were amazed at the entrance and just all around the entire property period. Deer are everywhere and super friendly deer waiting to be fed :) I have to say that this is the perfect location and the room felt so comfy and clean. Yea there was a few spiderwebs but that gave it a more vintage feel and dodnt mind it at all! We always struggle to find a nice spot over viewing the lake but not no more. Will always return to the Island for a beautiful and comfortable stay. Batteries went out for the tv remote called the property manager and was really quick to send for extras to be taken up to us immediately but thankfully we found extras:) Thanks again for a wonderful stay~ Sanchez Family

Worth it for the view

The view of Lake Travis is spectacular. Condo needs more contemporary furnishings, but is comfortable. Full kitchen is well appointed. Complex is quiet, outdoor pools were clean and inviting.

Peace and Quiet

We enjoyed the tranquility of Lake Travis from the balcony view. It was just so peaceful. We also enjoyed all the deer that were walking around the area.

Wonderful View

This was my second time staying on The Island, and I enjoyed as if it were my first. The only issue we had was that the amount of active spider webs on the balcony made us a little uncomfortable. Other than that, amazing serene getaway.

A Week at The Island on Lake Travis

We stayed for 7 nights in a one bedroom condo overlooking Lake Travis. The condo was lovely and the complex was amazing. The view out the condo window and balcony were spectacular. The amenities were good. The pool outside our condo was nice but needed cleaning and the hot tub was not usable. Our last night there we ate at the restaurant in the complex. After we finally found the restaurant, the food was quite good. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Weekend Getaway

The kids got to feed deer, we got to wake up to a beautiful view, and catch amazing sunset. About 30 min.- An hour away from several cool spots, and the drives around that area are gorgeous. Looking forward to the next opportunity we get to travel back.

Amazing View!

Condo has an absolutely amazing view of both the pool and lake!! 2 twin beds worked well for staying with a friend but not ideal if I would have brought my spouse. Kitchen could have used a few more basic supplies such as a kettle for boiling water, tea pot, plastic storage containers for food or at least plastic wrap, foil, etc. Beautiful place and location!

25th Anniversary 3 days stay

My husband and I had a wonderful time at The Island on Lake Travis.. Everything was wonderful there except the condo smelled stuffing and old. The condo owner needs to upgrade the comforters pillows and sheets. Once I disinfect the room(because of COVID) put my own sheets on the bed. Sprayed a lot of room fragrance everything was perfect. We will visit again. The properties is very beautiful. I feel the island is a hidden treasure here in Texas.

Nice place, nice view, nice getaway

The overall place was nice. Our condo was nice, but could use some overall updating and a deep clean. The view from the balcony overlooks the pool and lake and was nice. We enjoyed feeding the deer nightly. We enjoyed the beautiful lake- water was so clear. We enjoyed cliff jumping at the property, near the tennis courts.
