Second time staying at this fun property. It's very unique and has some nice hiking opportunities.

Everything thing you can think of was Amazing about this house. Close to places to eat. A place to get your mind or relationship back on track. Peaceful beautiful clean place to unpack your mind . Host is Amazing with letting you know where places are and they labeled everything so you will have no questions.

Beautiful property and home. Loved the house, and the owners went above and beyond to make your stay memorable. If you are looking for a unique home in an exceptionally tranquil location, you have to try this home out.

Perfect Home Base

We loved every minute of our Austin weekend at the Glass House. It was beautiful and it felt like the hosts anticipated everything we might need. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were so luxurious! We loved the trail access and spent a lot of time enjoying the patios.

Beautiful, quiet house

Even though the neighbors are close you wouldn’t know it. Felt like a unique cabin in the woods! Definitely would stay here again.

Austin Glass House

Home is nice clean and secluded. Great views of the surrounding landscape. Every thing in the home had a place as well as plenty of labels throughout. Would recommend to anyone looking for a private getaway.

Great Experience

This home is truly unique and should not be missed if you have an opportunity to stay here. It feels remote without being so and provides a perfect place for some chill! It is close enough to downtown Austin for trips into town and the local are provides great opportunities for eating and shopping. The beds are great and the open air shower is amazing. The house was clean and the hosts were great at communicating with us!

Birthday Getaway

Couple day get away for my wife's birthday. She loves the outdoors and unique houses and this checked both boxes. Driveway is pretty steep for those of us who grew up on the plains. LoL. But it’s workable. Trail was easy but great fun. Would stay again.

The Austin Glass House is stunning!

We stayed in the glass house to celebrate one last weekend of summer before our kids started school. The house was so beautiful. The static pictures, while gorgeous, do not do it justice because everywhere you look is a beautiful wall of moving art. Whether it be the trees moving in the gentle breeze, or the birds and squirrels playing in the amazing rock wall, the views intimately connected us to nature and made for a very relaxing getaway. Can’t wait to come back.

Stunning Stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay at at the Glass House. It was absolutely beautiful. We were sorrounded by nature, but we we also were able to drive just 20 minutes into Downtown Austin. It is exactly as pictured, but even more stunning in person. It was very clean, and the host included everything you could possibly need. If you are looking for a great "getaway", this is the perfect place. My two teens were perfectly content enjoying the beautifu surroundings and walking on the trail which is a few steps away from the house.

From stress to zen

I was looking for a space to“decompress” after finishing nursing school. I wanted luxury and nature wrapped up into one and this home exceeded all of our expectations. Not only is the home amazingly beautiful, the hosts have provided everything you need for a great stay. They’ve even taken the time to label everything so you know what and where everything is. It’s the little details that matter most. I couldn’t be more pleased! I will most definitely book again!

Excellent Stay

I don't usually write reviews unless they are significantly above average, and this location is amazing. The house, the location, the details...all just amazing. They have thought of everything and skimp on nothing. The bedding is nice, the kitchen supplies are nice, instructions are nice. You don't have 50 million things you have to do before leaving. It was just a wonderful getaway all the way around. We will definitely be back. Thank you.

A Great Escape

The property is really fun and the host communicated very well! Place was clean and really cool. Very organized and a lot of kitchen items were provided. Attention to detail was put into it at this property. When staying, make sure to follow instructions for cooling the master as it can get warm with the shower and have a car / suv that can make it up the driveway. It’s really steep but that’s all part of the amazing experience of this glass house. Highly recommend staying and we’ve already discussed coming back. Enjoy!

Romantic get away

Excellent experience. We have a high standard for cleanliness and this house met the standard. Great decor with beautiful views. Even though there are neighboring houses the way this house is situated makes it very secluded with a private feel. The house provided everything we needed and more when cooking. Downstairs bedroom was the best experience. Deer and fox were literally outside the bedroom. Beautiful trails are right outside the back yard. Host was very clear about the parking down below. Be aware, leaving the bottom parking is for the experienced driver. I could go on and on about this great place. Over all, great stay and we will stay again.
