This was a very disappointing experience. The house is in a low-level area surrounded by homeless people, both in the back and front of the property, which made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe. Inside, the house was very dirty and smelled like cat. We are allergic, and the host, Shannon, didn’t seem to care when we mentioned it.It looked like someone was living there. There was food in the fridge, including milk and other items that could go bad, clothes in the closets, dirty towels on the bed, and a mop and rag left on the porch. The yard was not maintained; a tree trunk had been cut and left in the yard.The house did not look like the pictures. It was dark, creepy, and poorly maintained. We left after five minutes and went to a hotel because we couldn’t stay due to our allergies. The host admitted there was a cat but never informed us before booking.I have used Vrbo many times and never had a bad experience before, but this one was beyond disappointing. This property should not be listed in its current condition.
